During the 25th anniversary celebration of her company, Lavanya calls Ms. Dubai, Nikita, on stage and introduces her as the brand ambassador for her company. She invites the reporters to ask Nikita questions, praising her as an epitome of beauty. Lavanya then announces that she will be calling someone special to the stage, turning everyone’s attention towards Deepika. Deepika feels a wave of anxiety, realizing that Chirag’s prediction about Lavanya’s true intentions was right—that she had been invited only to be humiliated at the event.
Meanwhile, Jahnvi is on the phone, continuing to manipulate Prithvi, convincing him to commit suicide to “prove” their love to Lavanya. She falsely promises to commit suicide alongside him, secretly relishing the thought of leaving Lavanya in despair and helplessness. Shobha walks into the room, catching Jahnvi mid-scheme, and yells at her for the drama.
Elsewhere, Chirag attends to Lavanya’s friend, who complains of chest pains. After examining her, Chirag concludes it’s probably a gastric issue but suggests an ECG to be certain. He instructs the nurse to take her for the test. The lady, following Lavanya’s orders to delay Chirag, insists on seeing pictures of Deepika. Chirag obliges by showing her one picture but urges her to get the ECG done first. As she steps out, she quietly locks the door from the outside, trapping Chirag in his office.
Back on stage, Deepika walks nervously as reporters bombard Lavanya with questions, one asking if Deepika is Lavanya’s daughter-in-law. Lavanya coldly responds that Deepika is merely a subject for now. She then starts promoting her cosmetics line, boasting that they can lighten anyone’s skin tone in a month. Lavanya claims that Deepika volunteered herself for this transformation, wanting to change her life. Deepika, feeling the pressure mount, silently prays for Chirag to arrive soon. A reporter challenges Lavanya, questioning why she still promotes fair skin in this modern era. Lavanya dismisses the question, asserting that even in today’s society, families prefer fair brides for their sons.
Chirag, locked in the room, realizes something is wrong and tries to leave. When he finds the door locked, he calls the nurse to open it. The nurse discovers that it’s locked from the outside and says she’ll call a locksmith. Chirag, running out of time, urges her to break the lock. Desperate to know what’s happening, he calls Deepika, but when she doesn’t answer, he contacts Neelima and asks her to show him the event via video call, requesting that she try to manage the situation until he arrives.
On stage, Deepika tries to speak, explaining that her skin tone is a gift from her mother and that she’s proud of it. She asserts that her identity comes from her work, her character, and the support of her husband. She adds that even gods in mythology had darker skin and that she has no desire to change her complexion. However, she soon realizes that her microphone is off, leaving her voice unheard. Chirag, watching the video call, is frustrated. Lavanya seizes the moment and smugly says that Deepika must be embarrassed about her and her mother’s dark skin but promises that, once she lightens her skin tone, her confidence will soar. Lavanya adds that she is committed to fulfilling Deepika’s “dream.”
