Lavanya announces Prithvi’s engagement to her business associate’s daughter, Nikita. The entire family is left in shock. The business associate, noticing their reaction, comments that maybe they arrived at the wrong time. Lavanya, unfazed, assures him that everything is fine and instructs Neelima to escort them for breakfast. As soon as the guests leave, Prithvi confronts Lavanya, demanding to know how she could fix his engagement to a random girl when he’s in love with Jahnvi. Lavanya, in her typical controlling manner, insists that she knows what’s best for him as his mother and claims she’s setting his life up for success.
Prithvi, standing his ground, declares that he loves Jahnvi and won’t marry anyone else. Lavanya dismisses his feelings, saying that just as he became obsessed with Ms. Rajasthan after seeing her photos, he’ll get equally infatuated with Ms. Dubai, meaning Nikita. Prithvi, growing more frustrated, shouts that his love for Jahnvi is genuine and he won’t marry anyone else.
Meanwhile, Shobha and Manorama are at home, eagerly dancing and waiting for Lavanya’s call, convinced everything will go their way. Jahnvi, annoyed by their enthusiasm, tells them not to get too excited just because of Deepika’s call. Shobha, however, remains hopeful, saying that Lavanya, as a mother, will prioritize her son’s happiness. But Prithvi, in Lavanya’s mansion, is describing how selfish and controlling his mother truly is, caring only about her own desires. Lavanya’s loyal followers, Omkar and Ashutosh, try to calm Prithvi down, but he bursts out, saying he should have eloped with Jahnvi, just like Chirag did with Deepika, knowing Lavanya would have opposed his relationship.
Furious, Lavanya slaps Prithvi for suggesting such a thing and emotionally blackmails him, threatening that he’ll only see her dead if he dares to elope and marry Jahnvi. Neelima, Omkar, and Ashutosh plead with Lavanya to calm down, but she insists that everything she does is for the family’s good. She reminds Ashutosh of how she chose Neelima for him on her father-in-law’s request when he was dating someone else, and now they are happy together. Neelima, looking concerned, asks Lavanya what she should tell the guests, as they are starting to ask questions. Lavanya coldly replies that Prithvi will get engaged to Nikita, or he will witness her death, and then instructs the family to join the guests for breakfast.
Later, Omkar approaches Chirag, saying he tried his best to reason with Lavanya, but now only Chirag can convince her. Chirag goes to speak with Lavanya, doing everything he can to persuade her to let Prithvi marry Jahnvi. But Lavanya, as always, holds her ground, leaving Chirag frustrated. Meanwhile, Prithvi, overwhelmed with emotion, breaks down. Deepika and Chirag try to console him, but he’s inconsolable.
At that moment, Shobha calls Prithvi. Unable to speak, he asks Deepika to answer and inform her of his impending engagement to someone else. Deepika hesitantly takes the call. Shobha, still hopeful, asks why she hasn’t received a call from Lavanya yet. Deepika breaks the news, telling her that Lavanya has arranged Prithvi’s engagement to another girl. Shobha and Manorama are furious and begin cursing Deepika. Chirag, unable to stand their insults, steps in, warning them to stop disrespecting his wife. But Shobha and Manorama shift their anger towards him, cursing him as well.
Deepika, deeply hurt, turns to Chirag, saying for the first time she feels like she doesn’t understand him, as he’s not fighting hard enough to protect his brother’s happiness.
