Bhagya Lakshmi 9th October 2024 Written Update
Vijesh takes Rishi into the room. Rishi, concerned, asks what has happened, but Vijesh calmly asks him to sit down, saying he will explain everything. Vijesh acknowledges that this situation might be new and overwhelming for Rishi and his family, but it is something they deal with on a daily basis. Rishi, still confused, listens as Vijesh explains that even though Rishi might not know what to do, he knows the procedure well. Rishi responds, saying he has always trusted and supported Vijesh, which is why he asked him to come to their home. Vijesh appreciates Rishi for maintaining his composure in the face of such a crisis, noting that while Rishi has stayed calm, a mother’s feelings are very different. Rishi agrees, acknowledging that Lakshmi is a unique mother who would go to any lengths for her children. Vijesh then requests Rishi to help manage Lakshmi, as a mother can act irrationally out of love. Rishi admits that he, too, is emotional, but he is doing his best to control himself; otherwise, Lakshmi might break down, taking the entire family with her. He vows to be Lakshmi’s strength.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi is pacing anxiously, thinking about Paru and how she would typically behave. Neelam is also lost in thoughts about Paru. Aayush asks if there’s anything they can do if the kidnappers don’t make contact. The officer advises them to stay calm and go inside, but Neelam insists they can’t just sit and do nothing. The Inspector suggests that only one person should stay outside, while Dadi agrees, saying that staying in the house might help if any news about Paru comes in. Anoushka supports Nani’s idea, saying it’s best to remain at home.
Vijesh continues, explaining that this is why he called Rishi—because Rishi is mature and can handle the situation. He points out the difference between Rishi and Lakshmi, as she is focused solely on Paru, while Rishi is concerned for everyone. Vijesh suggests Rishi should approach Lakshmi not with logic but with love, as that might be the only way to calm her.
Aayush refuses to go inside. The inspector compares it to a surgeon’s operation, explaining that having someone inside the operating room can distract the surgeon and cause mistakes. Lakshmi, however, refuses to go inside as her daughter is missing, adamantly stating that she will go out and search for her if necessary. The Inspector reassures her that they are doing everything they can, but Lakshmi argues they aren’t doing enough—her daughter is just six years old, and she urges the officer to fully commit to his duty.
Vijesh turns to Rishi, telling him that he has seen many fathers in his career, but none quite like him. Rishi, feeling guilty, insists that he’s not strong or a great father—if he were, Paru wouldn’t be in this situation. Vijesh encourages him to stay strong. Rishi remembers promising Paru that nothing bad would happen to her, as they had reunited after so long. Vijesh advises Rishi to keep Lakshmi away from the phone so they can negotiate with the kidnapper calmly and logically. He expresses his desire for Rishi to handle the calls. Rishi, determined, vows to bring Paru back.
As the tension builds, Lakshmi questions what the officers are doing, frustrated by their lack of progress. Neelam assures her that they all want to find Paru, while Dadi reminds Lakshmi that the officers are working on it. Lakshmi, growing more desperate, argues that they need to take matters into their own hands and find Paru themselves, without waiting for the police. The phone suddenly rings, causing Malishka to worry. Rishi quickly answers before Lakshmi can, and Ashish is on the other end. Rishi confronts Ashish, asking if he has Paru and shaming him for the kidnapping. Ashish warns Rishi not to involve the police and demands five million rupees, revealing that he had no idea he was dealing with Rishi Oberoi. Lakshmi tries to grab the phone, but Ashish hangs up. Vijesh, frustrated, wonders how the kidnappers know so much about what’s happening in the house. Noticing Malishka’s anxious behavior, he takes her aside.
Elsewhere, Ashish is furious with Leo for cutting the call short. Leo defends his action, saying that if they had continued talking, they could have been caught. Ashish, still angry, questions whether they will even get the ransom money, but Leo assures him he has a way to find out.
Vijesh confronts Malishka, stating that she must know why he called her aside. She denies knowing anything, but Vijesh presses on, questioning why she seems so nervous. Malishka insists she’s fine, but Vijesh isn’t convinced. He tells her he has dealt with many liars in his life and questions why she was looking around while talking to him. Malishka becomes defensive, saying he shouldn’t speak to her like that, and denies that she meant any harm. Vijesh continues to push, asking why she seems so worried.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi continues to argue with the others. Neelam pleads with her not to fall into the kidnappers’ trap, and even Dadi agrees that they must not follow the kidnappers’ demands. Aayush also advises against listening to the criminals. Aanchal emphasizes that they should not comply with the kidnappers’ instructions, but Lakshmi, overcome with fear for her daughter, insists that she will do anything to ensure Paru’s safety, even if it means making mistakes. The Inspector warns Lakshmi that she is making a huge mistake, but she declares that she will keep making those mistakes for Paru’s sake. She starts pushing the officers out of the house, but Rishi stops her, asking her to calm down. Lakshmi, still shaken, insists that the kidnappers demanded they send the police away. Rishi explains that’s exactly what the kidnappers want—to isolate them. He insists the police are there to help, but Lakshmi, desperate, asks, “Where is Paru right now?”
Vijesh tells Malishka that Rishi has two wives who both live with him, which complicates things. Just then, the Inspector arrives and requests Vijesh to speak with Lakshmi downstairs. Vijesh leaves with him, giving Malishka a moment of relief. Meanwhile, Lakshmi, refusing to back down, tells Rishi to send the police away as the kidnappers instructed. Neelam reassures Lakshmi that they will do everything to get Paru back safely. Lakshmi swears that nothing will happen to Paru and storms out. Vijesh later informs them that the kidnapper is dangerous and may harm Paru if things don’t go as planned. Aayush is confused, so Vijesh explains that the kidnapper might act out of fear and desperation.
