Bhagya Lakshmi 9th December 2024 Written Update

Malishka says it’s a lie and that Lakshmi cannot be the mother of Rishi’s child. Lakshmi, stepping forward, says she is pregnant. When Malishka asks how she knows, Lakshmi replies that she just knows it. Malishka retorts that if that’s true, then the father must be someone else. Rishi warns Malishka not to speak ill of Lakshmi, and Lakshmi herself says she will answer for herself. Lakshmi states that she has endured everything Malishka has said to her, but she cannot tolerate being called a liar about her child. She insists the child is Rishi’s. Malishka scoffs, saying it’s impossible since they were never together. Lakshmi then explains that they were together on the day she saw them both at her mother’s house, so Malishka can do the math. Malishka refuses to believe it and questions how Lakshmi dares to say such things. Lakshmi responds that she and Rishi agreed on it, and since they are husband and wife, there is nothing wrong in wanting to start a family together. Malishka protests, but Rishi reassures everyone that they were together and will remain together. He thanks Lakshmi for bringing him happiness and says he owes it all to her. He lifts her in joy, but Lakshmi asks him to stop as she feels dizzy. Rishi quickly reassures her, saying he can’t overdo it, especially now that they have to take care of their unborn child. He promises to look after Lakshmi and their child. Aayush steps in, saying Rishi must indeed take care of both the mother and the child. Neelam adds that Rishi would no longer tease Lakshmi, explaining that she, too, will shower all her love on her as a grandmother. Karishma comments on the truth of their situation and how they will work to strengthen their relationships. Aanchal echoes that this is a fresh start for their family.

Kiran interrupts, questioning where her daughter fits into all this, to which Aayush responds, asking how she can be so callous when Rishi and Lakshmi are about to become parents. Malishka demands to know what right they have to say anything, to which Lakshmi calmly responds that it is the child’s right. Dadi agrees, and Neelam adds that this time they won’t make the same mistakes. Anoushka arrives to hug Lakshmi and congratulate her, and Rishi joins in with his praise, telling her she deserves it. Aayush asks why Rishi shouldn’t express his feelings, and Rishi assures him he won’t hold back, vowing to care for Lakshmi as much as possible.

The driver honks, bringing Lakshmi out of her daydream. She apologizes, telling the driver she got lost in thought. She picks up her bag and gives him the money. She reassures herself that this time, things would go well. Lakshmi enters the Oberoi house and sees Rishi standing with his back to her. She quietly stands behind him. The family notices her and grows concerned, with Dadi wondering what’s going on. Rishi turns around, surprised to see Lakshmi and asks what’s wrong. She quickly hides her phone, and he asks why she seems so emotional. Lakshmi reveals she has something very big to say and insists on telling him first. Neelam, not understanding the situation, says she doesn’t know what’s going on, and even Karishma is confused. Lakshmi responds that she doesn’t want to make the same mistake. Just then, Malishka runs in, calling Rishi’s name. Neelam tells Malishka to be careful. Rishi continues to ask Lakshmi what’s going on, but Lakshmi picks up a box of sweets, and Malishka, jumping in front of her, hugs Rishi, happily announcing she’s pregnant. The entire family is shocked, and Lakshmi is stunned. Malishka declares that both she and Rishi are about to become parents. Rishi asks in disbelief, but Malishka confidently says it’s true. He looks to Lakshmi, who seems distressed, and then turns to Neelam, telling her that she’s about to be a grandmother. He moves to Karishma, Aanchal, and Dadi, explaining that they’ll all become family again, and Aayush will be the uncle. Anoushka celebrates, and Malishka goes to her mother, congratulating her on becoming a grandmother. Neelam congratulates Malishka and expresses how happy she is for her. Aanchal advises Malishka to take care of herself, while Karishma warns her to be more careful with her actions. Malishka claims she was just so excited to share the news with Rishi. He looks at her, confused, and asks how this could be possible. Malishka says Rishi can count the days back to the party at her mother’s house, and then he’ll understand. Karishma wonders why Lakshmi is standing silently, and Malishka offers to distribute the sweets herself. She insists that Rishi must have them, claiming they are starting a new family. Lakshmi, staring at Rishi with frustration, slowly picks up a sweet and feeds it to Malishka, who watches her intently. Neelam, overwhelmed with happiness, thanks Malishka for her news and offers to return the favor. Lakshmi quietly walks away, unaware that she knocked over a vase. Rishi and Aayush follow her, concerned, while Malishka watches, worried. Kiran blames Lakshmi for faking her reaction, and Malishka suggests that Lakshmi can’t bear her happiness. Neelam, however, reassures that Lakshmi might just be upset and needs time to accept the truth. Karishma agrees, saying Lakshmi must face that she doesn’t have any rights. Aanchal adds that if Lakshmi doesn’t accept things soon, it will create problems for the whole family. Kiran joins Malishka, who is smiling.

Lakshmi, sitting alone in the room, thinks about the moment when the doctor told her she was pregnant, but now she is heartbroken to find that Malishka is also pregnant, claiming that the child is Rishi’s. She breathes heavily, overwhelmed with emotions, and sobs quietly.

Rishi and Aayush frantically search for Lakshmi, but she remains locked away in the room, unable to stop crying.

Neelam instructs Mukesh to distribute the sweets to the others, while Aanchal suggests to Anoushka to bring coconut water for Malishka to keep her healthy. Neelam reminds everyone that Malishka must take good care of herself. Dadi, looking worried, begins to leave, but Aanchal stops her, wanting to speak with her. Aanchal says that while it’s hard to understand the truth, Dadi must accept that Malishka is the mother of Rishi’s child, and shouldn’t act as if she doesn’t care. Dadi responds firmly, saying she knows the truth and will do what’s best for the family. She says that no matter what, she will love the child because it will carry Rishi’s blood. Aanchal, stunned, watches as Dadi leaves, while Neelam calmly listens to everything. Neelam assures Aanchal that the family will give Malishka the care and attention she deserves, as the pregnant woman now holds the future of the family. Dadi, too, will show her love. Aanchal remains concerned but understands that for now, they must be happy for Rishi and Malishka.

Rishi continues to call for Lakshmi as she locks herself in the room. Both he and Aayush plead with her to open the door, but she remains inside, crying uncontrollably. Rishi begs her to listen to him, but she doesn’t respond.
