Bhagya Lakshmi 8th September 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Rishi taking Paro to the room, while Aanchal urges the doctor to start the treatment. The doctor requests them to leave, but Aanchal insists they won’t go until Paro regains consciousness. Rishi advises Lakshmi to let the doctor examine Paro. After checking her, the doctor reassures them that Paro’s vitals are stable and she will wake up soon. Lakshmi, distraught, asks why Paro hasn’t opened her eyes yet. Rishi comforts her, saying their daughter will be fine. Lakshmi hugs him, crying. Meanwhile, Malishka takes Rohan to another room. Rohan, still concerned, says he wants to see Paro, but Malishka reassures him everything will be okay. Rohan recalls seeing Malishka holding a rod and questions her if she had pushed Paro. Malishka denies being there, saying if she had been, none of this would have happened. Rohan, somewhat convinced, says she wouldn’t hurt his sister. Karishma overhears their conversation. Malishka exchanges a glance with Kiran and Karishma.
Everyone asks the doctor about Paro’s condition. The doctor informs them that she will recover in two days, blaming the contractor for the faulty work. He questions how someone could be so careless, adding that Paro could have lost her life. Rishi reassures everyone that Paro will be fine. Rano wonders how Paro fell down the stairs. Shalu mentions that if someone did this intentionally, it’s a serious matter. Dadi believes they need to investigate the situation further. Aanchal adds that Neelam is unwell, and they shouldn’t inform her about Paro’s accident just yet, especially since Neelam has a wellness program with her kitty party friends the next day. She offers Lakshmi any help she might need, saying she can knock on her door anytime. Lakshmi, still shaken, declares that if someone intentionally hurt her daughter, she won’t let them get away with it. Kiran overhears this and leaves.
Malishka tries to calm Rohan, but he insists on going to Paro. When Rohan runs off, Karishma instructs Anushka to bring him back. Anushka, knowing Rohan’s determination, hesitates but eventually goes after him. Karishma, meanwhile, confronts Malishka, reminding her that Bhabhi had warned her against such actions. Karishma accuses Malishka of hurting Paro. Malishka, defensively, says she intended to harm Lakshmi, not Paro. Karishma scolds her, saying she shouldn’t hurt any family member. Malishka retorts, telling Karishma not to lecture her. Kiran steps in, siding with Karishma, and tells Malishka to listen carefully. She warns Malishka that Lakshmi has vowed to find and punish the person responsible for hurting her daughter. Malishka, visibly emotional, says no one understands the pain she feels seeing Rishi and Lakshmi together. Karishma reminds her that they’re talking about Paro, not her personal issues. Malishka, however, claims Lakshmi and Paro are the same to her. She tells Karishma and Kiran that they’re acting as though they committed the crime. Kiran urges Karishma not to reveal anything, and Karishma agrees, warning that if the truth comes out, it would be disastrous. They both agree to help Malishka as her mental state is deteriorating.
Lakshmi, deep in thought, recalls the events and begins suspecting foul play. Just then, Malishka enters the room, searching for something. Lakshmi confronts her, asking what she’s doing. Malishka snaps back, questioning who Lakshmi is to ask her anything. She brings up her son visiting Paro while Lakshmi stayed behind. Lakshmi accuses Malishka of foul play, claiming she’s responsible for what happened to Paro. Malishka denies the accusation, calling it an accident and accusing Lakshmi of thinking the worst. Lakshmi fires back, warning Malishka that if she harmed her daughter, she would see her fury. Kiran steps in, supporting Malishka, but Lakshmi stands firm, saying if Malishka is innocent, she’ll be spared, but the culprit will pay dearly. Lakshmi emphasizes she won’t forgive anyone who harms her daughter. Malishka, in a fit of anger, accuses Lakshmi of acting like this is a village dispute. Aanchal interjects, saying that whoever hurt Paro will face consequences. She thanks Bal Gopal for saving Paro and promises to fast in gratitude every year. Lakshmi, still determined, declares she won’t rest until she finds the person responsible. Malishka offers prayers for Paro before leaving.
Later that night, Malishka reflects on Lakshmi’s warning and begins to feel afraid. Unable to sleep, she gets a call from Rohan. Waking up, she realizes it’s morning and prepares Rohan for school. However, Rohan is already ready and informs her that Paro won’t be attending. He brushes her off, making Malishka feel ignored. That afternoon, when Rohan returns home, he rushes to see Paro. Malishka overhears Lakshmi telling Shalu that she’s keeping an eye on everyone, while Karishma, also listening, advises Malishka to take action. Malishka brushes off the warnings, saying she’s not afraid of Lakshmi.
Later that night, Lakshmi visits Malishka in her dream, accusing her of hurting Paro, saying Rohan had told her everything, and the CCTV footage caught her. Malishka, panicked, begs her to let go, only to wake up and realize it was a nightmare. She tells Karishma that Lakshmi’s haunting her dreams. Karishma cautions her that if she continues to act scared, she’ll expose herself. Karishma reminds Malishka that Paro is Neelam’s beloved, and if Neelam finds out, she won’t spare her. Karishma draws two lines on paper, demonstrating that Malishka needs to distract Lakshmi with something bigger. Malishka, her mind racing, thinks of Balwinder, the only person who can make Lakshmi’s life miserable. She calls Balwinder’s associate, Guddu, who informs her that Balwinder is in a mental asylum. Karishma believes Balwinder isn’t truly insane and suggests Malishka visit him to manipulate the situation.
Malishka visits Balwinder in the asylum. A nurse warns her that Balwinder hasn’t spoken in years, but Malishka insists he’ll speak to her. Inside, Malishka taunts Balwinder, reminding him of how much he once loved Lakshmi and how she’s now living a luxurious life with Rishi. Balwinder, infuriated, vows to get Lakshmi back but first threatens to kill her. The asylum staff intervenes, saving Malishka. Shaken, Malishka returns home. Karishma asks about her visit, and Malishka recounts how Balwinder became violent when Lakshmi’s name was mentioned. Meanwhile, Balwinder plots to kidnap Lakshmi, determined not to let her live a happy life. Karishma asks if the visit was worthwhile, but Malishka is convinced that Balwinder will act soon and take Lakshmi away for good.
