Bhagya Lakshmi 8th December 2024 Written Update
Lakshmi is walking in the hospital with Shalu and Rano when she suddenly stops after seeing a husband taking care of his wife. After a moment, Shalu asks her to come and they enter the doctor’s office. She tells Lakshmi to follow her to the side where the checkup will be performed. Lakshmi gets stunned as she looks at the photo of an infant, and then Shalu calls her again, so she goes to the side.
Aayush asks Rishi to hurry, as otherwise, they will face a lot of traffic, but he notices that Rishi seems worried. He asks what’s wrong, and Rishi replies that he feels something big is about to happen. Aayush reassures him not to overthink. Just then, Rishi gets a call from Malishka. Aayush asks what she wants, and Malishka tells Rishi to come back home quickly, which worries him. However, she insists that he return right away. Both Rishi and Aayush leave. Kiran is glad that Malishka called Rishi back home, and Malishka replies that now it’s time to call everyone else.
The doctor calls Lakshmi, and she walks to stand beside Shalu. The doctor reveals the wonderful news that Lakshmi is about to become a mother. Overcome with emotion, Lakshmi starts to cry as Shalu and Rano hug her. Lakshmi thinks about going back home to tell Rishi about the truth—that they’re expecting another child. She decides this time she will tell Rishi, as it’s his right to know, and she’s going to tell him everything. Lakshmi leaves, and Rano smiles, saying she knew everything was fine between them. But Shalu replies that Rano didn’t believe her earlier. Rano says she is saying it now, knowing it’s all good, and they both leave.
Karishma asks Kiran what she wants to share, but Kiran replies that Malishka is about to reveal the good news. Karishma asks where Malishka is, and Kiran explains she went to call Mom and Dadi. Neelam is excited and asks what the good news is. Kiran says she’s just waiting for Rishi, who’s on his way.
Lakshmi, in the taxi, is filled with excitement thinking about telling Rishi the big news. She regrets hiding it from him last time and knows it’s his right to know this time. She asks the driver to stop as she needs to buy sweets for everyone. After buying the sweets, Lakshmi apologizes to the driver.
Malishka, excited, waits as Mukesh brings the sweets. Neelam and Karishma impatiently ask what’s going on, but Malishka remembers she forgot to get sugar-free sweets for Neelam and leaves to get them. Rishi and Aayush enter just as Karishma explains that they will no longer have to wait. Aayush asks Anoushka what the good news is, but she says she’s unaware of it. Rishi leaves to take a call. Lakshmi, excited, reaches the house and, after paying the driver, enters Oberoi Mansion. She spots Rishi in the corner and is emotional as she walks toward him, but he is still looking the other way. The family is stunned, and Dadi wonders what’s happening as Lakshmi stands there. When Rishi turns around and sees Lakshmi, he’s shocked and still doesn’t end the call. Lakshmi puts the phone down, and Rishi is in disbelief that she’s standing in front of him. She says she has big news to share.
Neelam doesn’t understand what’s going on, while Karishma tries to explain that it’s just building suspense. Lakshmi says she didn’t want to repeat her past mistake when Rishi got angry with her. Rishi is confused, so Lakshmi admits that she hid Paru’s truth from him last time, depriving him of the right to be a father. She says she will tell him everything this time. Rishi asks what’s happened, and Lakshmi reveals that she is pregnant. The entire family is shocked and finds it hard to believe. Lakshmi places Rishi’s hand on her stomach, and Rishi, still in disbelief, asks if she’s sure. Lakshmi confirms that they’re about to be parents, and Rishi gets emotional, hugging Lakshmi tightly. Aayush and Dadi share their joy, but Kiran is shocked and unsure of what to do. Rishi and Lakshmi keep hugging each other, and he asks again if she’s sure. He hugs her again, just as Malishka returns and is shocked to see them embracing. She asks what’s going on, and Kiran tries to go to Malishka but gets dizzy, so Karishma helps her sit down.
Dadi and Aayush go to congratulate Rishi and Lakshmi, while Malishka demands to know what’s happening. Aanchal, equally confused, mentions that even she doesn’t know what’s going on. Dadi replies that it’s a reason for celebration, and they can’t let it pass without sweets. Lakshmi offers a box of sweets to Rishi, who also does the same to Dadi. Dadi says they both need to take her blessings, and Malishka, still in disbelief, asks what’s happening. Lakshmi goes to Neelam, asking for her blessings as well. Neelam blesses her, and Lakshmi gives her the sweets. Aanchal asks what Neelam is doing, and Aayush joyfully responds that he’s very happy for Rishi and hugs him tightly. Dadi says they should all dance in celebration, and Anoushka smiles. Dadi insists they should decorate the house, as it’s a joyous occasion. Aayush says he’s going to play music, and they should dance. Rishi approaches Lakshmi and asks her to dance. After wiping her tears, Lakshmi agrees, and they dance while laughing together. Aanchal asks if it’s true that they’re going to become parents, and Neelam confirms it is. Karishma agrees, saying they’re both about to be parents again. Mukesh joins the celebration, and Rishi picks up Lakshmi as they enjoy the moment. Malishka, unable to bear it, fumes in the background.
Lakshmi feels dizzy, and Aayush congratulates everyone. Rishi thanks Lakshmi, saying he can’t express how happy he is. He says she’s about to be a mother again. Malishka, furious, demands that they stop pretending, claiming Lakshmi can’t be pregnant and is fooling everyone. She tells Rishi to look at Lakshmi and asks how she can be the mother of his child. Neelam asks what Malishka means, and Malishka accuses Dadi and Aayush of encouraging this lie. She insists that Lakshmi isn’t pregnant, shocking Lakshmi.
