Shalu and Aayush both turn away from each other, visibly emotional. Aayush glances back at her and attempts to speak but struggles to hold back his feelings, so he turns away again. Shalu admits that she was lying and insists he shouldn’t take it the wrong way or feel upset. Aayush wipes away his tears and, smiling, asks her what she means, knowing she was joking. He jokingly eats some sweets, prompting Shalu to question his intentions. He pulls out his phone, revealing he recorded a video where she confessed that nothing was going on between them. Aayush then walks behind a pillar, mentioning he is skilled at these mind games, all while crying, as Shalu sits on the couch, tears flowing. Aayush approaches her again, expressing that he does not want to hurt Anoushka, his wife who loves him deeply and with whom he has a perfect marriage. He acknowledges that Shalu might feel suspicious, but he emphasizes his responsibility to love Anoushka back. What he said to Shalu was just an act, and Shalu mirrors his sentiments. Aayush asks if she understands that it was all pretend, to which she replies she does. They exchange signals about leaving, and Aayush walks away, recalling the moment when Shalu confessed her true feelings for him. Hiding behind the pillar, he remembers how they used to argue before finally leaving. Shalu becomes more emotional and begins to cry.

Lakshmi tells Rishi that Shalu has not kept the Varth for Aayush, especially since she knows he is married now. Rishi questions what about before, and Lakshmi responds that Shalu understands it is not right and wouldn’t do it. Rishi argues that love doesn’t adhere to right or wrong, to which Lakshmi agrees but insists that in this case, it does. As Lakshmi attempts to walk away, Rishi insists they are just having a normal conversation, but she counters that he shouldn’t talk to her in such a manner. Rishi asks what the issue is, and when Lakshmi mentions the past, he stops her, inquiring about her reasoning. She brings up that he was the same person he was back then. Rishi questions what she means, and Lakshmi reminds him that he married her despite being in love with Malishka. Rishi asks why she keeps revisiting the past, and he apologizes, acknowledging it will take time for them to communicate normally. He turns to leave but asks Lakshmi if she has anything to say, to which she declines, prompting him to suggest she at least say goodnight. Meanwhile, Shalu runs after the pillar, sitting down to reflect on Aayush’s words, crying as she wonders why she is thinking of him despite his marriage. She expresses her desire not to ruin his happiness, recognizing that he loves his wife and that Anoushka is also very caring. Shalu resolves to distance herself from both of them, vowing that no problems will come into their lives, and tears continue to flow.

Anoushka storms into the room, shocked to see Neil sitting on the chair. She calls out to him as he stands, asking why she acts as if she has seen a ghost when he is her husband. He moves to hug Anoushka, but she pushes him onto the bed. After closing the door, Anoushka questions how he dared to touch her, and Neil replies he only hugged her, asserting that he has proof in the form of photos, complimenting her beauty and explaining that he felt compelled to hug her.

Aayush walks away, contemplating Shalu’s statement that everything was an act to make his suspicious wife believe it was true. She urged him not to think negatively about the situation, but Aayush feels conflicted and calls himself foolish. Rishi notices Aayush’s tears and tries to inquire about what’s wrong, but Aayush only cries, admitting he was wrong from the beginning and that his thoughts were misguided. He mentions that Shalu was lying and had said those things to make Anoushka feel bad. Aayush insists he’s fine and needs to forget everything, acknowledging that hearts often think wrongly. He vows to let his mind guide his heart, realizing that otherwise, he could get into trouble. Rishi claims he understands, but Aayush insists he was wrong to believe he fell in love, stating it is not right. He decides to eat something, and though Rishi tries to talk further, Aayush brushes him off, calling himself stupid for thinking about Shalu when he is married. He requests Rishi to keep this conversation between them, to which Rishi apologizes, acknowledging he can’t help him.

As Aayush walks, Dadi calls for him to come inside, stating she needs his help. Aayush responds that he has no tasks, but she insists he should fetch her medicine from Anoushka’s room, asking if he has seen it. He reminds her that he is her husband, and she apologizes. When he questions why the medicine is in Anoushka’s room, Dadi explains she can keep her medicines wherever she wants and simply forgot them there. Aayush inquires why she went to Anoushka’s room, prompting Dadi to threaten to slap him. She asks if something has happened, and he reassures her, smiling, that there is nothing wrong before she scolds him to be quick. Aayush exits the room.

Neil hugs Anoushka once more, but she warns him that they are not a couple and he should cease his nonsense. Neil insists they are still married, but Anoushka reveals the divorce papers, leaving him stunned. He argues they mean nothing without his signature, claiming they are still husband and wife. Anoushka demands he acknowledge he hasn’t signed, bringing forth the pen and urging him to finalize everything. Neil questions how it could end so simply, pointing out that Anoushka lives in a lavish house and wears expensive jewelry, implying he deserves something in return for signing. Anoushka retorts she knows his character and that he would receive much more than he deserves. She throws a bag at him, demanding he leave. Neil claims her offer is much less than he expected, stating he will only sign the divorce papers if he receives payment. Anoushka responds that she has no more money, to which Neil insists he wants a fair amount for his signature. Anoushka argues he isn’t worthy of any of it, and Neil, in anger, threatens to reveal the truth, suggesting that Anoushka would be thrown out of the house for marrying Aayush while still married to him. Anoushka begins to panic.
