Malishka tells Neelam’s mom that she is fine since she has no other option. Neelam, observing her, thought Malishka would be very worried but realizes today that she has managed to keep her composure. Neelam thanks Sonal for supporting her friend during these tough times and advises Malishka to be careful in the future before leaving. Sonal then asks Malishka if she noticed how nice Neelam’s mom is, but Malishka questions how she can claim to be fine when it isn’t true. Sonal responds that it’s enough for now while they eat.

Shalu is walking on the roof with a smile when she approaches Aayush and asks where Lakshmi di and the rest of the family are. Aayush replies that she was late, so the pooja ended without her. Shalu wonders why he didn’t tell her, and he explains that she had already come halfway and he felt she should complete the journey to avoid regrets about what might have been. He asks if Shalu understands, and she thinks she does, realizing they were about to form a relationship but then turned away. Shalu inquires about the children, and Aayush mentions they went to sleep early. Shalu exclaims that Paru must be in a good environment, as she never sleeps early. Turning, Shalu sees the plate and recognizes it belongs to her Lakshmi di, who makes a sign. Aayush picks up the thali as Shalu starts looking at him from the plate and questions why he is laughing, but he remains silent. Suddenly, Anoushka snatches the plate from Shalu, and Aayush tries to explain himself. Anoushka angrily demands to know what is going on between them, warning Shalu not to lie since she can see everything and is not naïve. Aayush attempts to intervene, but Anoushka insists on speaking to Shalu, who retorts that she doesn’t need to answer any of Anoushka’s ridiculous questions. As Shalu tries to leave, Anoushka stops her, insisting she must listen today and answer her questions. Anoushka bluntly asks if what she suspects is true—that Shalu is having an affair with her husband. Shalu responds that Anoushka’s suspicion is correct and that she has such a strong affair with Aayush that she even kept the Varth for him today. Hearing this, Aayush is taken aback, realizing he has just heard everything Shalu said. Shalu notices his shocked expression as Aayush starts looking at her, filled with concern.

A person entering the Oberoi Mansion in disguise is confronted by Karishma, who asks what he is doing in the house while his teammates are outside. Dadi arrives, asking Karishma if she has seen her medicine, which she forgot after putting it somewhere. Karishma offers to order new ones for her, but Dadi questions the need. Karishma begins searching for the person, but he has already slipped away. She then offers to help Dadi, but Dadi insists she can manage on her own.

Anoushka, still furious, demands to know what Shalu meant. Shalu stands firm, reiterating that she has an affair with Aayush and suggests Anoushka discuss it with him. Anoushka storms over to Aayush, who is visibly tense. He expresses confusion about why Shalu made such a statement, insisting it’s not true. Anoushka confronts him about the alleged affair, but Aayush decides he will ask Shalu about it himself. Anoushka, fuming, receives a call from Neil and assures him she is coming to the garden before leaving.

Aayush walks through the hall, excitedly thinking that Shalu has admitted she is still in love with him. Rishi, shocked to see Aayush so upbeat, listens as Aayush claims he has always told the truth about Shalu from the start. Aayush reveals that Shalu has kept the Varth of KarwaChauth for him that day. Rishi struggles to accept this, insisting Aayush is mistaken. Aayush maintains it’s true and asserts that Rishi will see it for himself when Shalu confirms it. Rishi expresses disbelief, but Aayush insists he will confess it for him, declaring his intention to break Shalu’s Varth. As they speak, Rishi notices Lakshmi approaching and asks if she needs anything. Lakshmi replies she is going to check on the children, and Rishi reassures her that she need not worry, as he will take care of them. Rishi then asks Lakshmi if she knew that Shalu kept the Varth for Aayush, leaving her stunned.

Aayush, filled with excitement, hugs Shalu, asking why she never told him about her feelings. He has her sit on the couch and asks if he can say something. He explains that he has longed to express his feelings but never found the courage to do so until today. Aayush shares that he has always felt a connection to her, recalling how their friendship blossomed into love. Aayush states this KarwaChauth is the best one because of Shalu, and he pulls out sweets from his pocket, offering them to her. However, Shalu stops him, feeling emotional. She asks what he is doing, and he explains that he brought them for her since she kept the Varth for him. Shalu clarifies that she only did it to prevent Anoushka from suspecting her anymore. She adds that even if she were to clarify things with Anoushka, it was the only way to ensure her truth was believed, and she turns away, revealing that both of them are heartbroken as they look away from each other. Shalu realizes how emotional Aayush has become.
