Bhagya Lakshmi 2nd October 2024 Written Update
The nurses are talking when Lakshmi enters the room and goes straight to Rohan. She feels he might have gone back to sleep, so she gently touches his head. Just then, Rohan calls her “Lakshmi maa.” Lakshmi urges him to be careful, reassuring him that she is always by his side. Rohan apologizes for not listening to her earlier, which led to his fall, but Lakshmi warmly replies that he is a very good boy. Rohan suddenly starts crying, which worries Lakshmi. She asks him what has happened, and he responds that he is in a lot of pain. Lakshmi, sensing something else is bothering him, asks him to look at her. She tells him she knows he’s not telling the whole truth and asks if he wouldn’t rather tell his dad instead of her. As she gets up to call his father, Rohan calls out “Maa,” causing Lakshmi to stop, tears forming in her eyes. Rohan says it would be wonderful if she were really his mother, but confesses that even he doesn’t know who his real mother is—he reveals that he knows he’s adopted.
Lakshmi rushes back to sit beside Rohan, asking him who told him about his adoption. Rohan explains that he figured it out himself. Lakshmi then gently asks if this is why he’s been so upset. She assures him that being adopted isn’t something to worry about, and that adopted children are actually very special—they’re lucky because they have two sets of parents. Rohan, however, replies that he understands the meaning of being adopted and that it means his birth parents abandoned him. He adds that Malishka mom and Dad aren’t his biological parents. Lakshmi firmly denies this, saying that it’s not true, and tells him that Malishka and his father both love him deeply. Rohan asks why their blood didn’t match his blood group, then insists that his real parents left him. Lakshmi reassures him once again that she is his real mother and that he is her son. Rohan then asks her to promise him something. He makes her do a cement promise, and tells her he wants to find his real mother. Lakshmi is taken aback and asks what he’s talking about. Rohan insists, asking if she wouldn’t want him to meet his biological mother, whose blood would match his. He pleads with Lakshmi, making her emotional as she starts crying. Rohan says he just wants to see what his real mother looks like. Lakshmi finally agrees to help him find his birth mother, kissing him as they both cry. Lakshmi rests her head on Rohan’s, assuring him that they will search together, but tells him he must get better first. Rohan says he wants to go home, promising he’ll recover faster there. Lakshmi agrees to take him home soon, but he insists he wants to leave right now.
Just then, Paru comes into the room, asking Rohan how he’s doing. Rohan replies that he’s fine but wants to go home. Lakshmi gently urges Rohan not to worry about it too much.
Meanwhile, Rishi asks the doctor if there are going to be any further complications. Paru interrupts, telling her father that Rohan wants to go home. Rishi says that the doctor wouldn’t allow it, but Neelam also requests the doctor’s permission. The doctor responds that as long as Rohan rests at home and takes his medications on time, there shouldn’t be a problem. Paru excitedly asks if this means they can all go home, and Rishi agrees. They all enter Rohan’s room, and Lakshmi steps aside, but Rohan holds her hand. Malishka and Neelam hug him, and Rohan calls for his dad. Aayush proudly says that he knew Rohan would recover because he’s brave like his uncle, but Karishma teases that Rohan was very weak as a child. Aanchal chimes in, saying that Rohan is an Oberoi and brave like his father, but Rohan says he’s smart like his Lakshmi mom. Dadi adds that he’s mischievous like his grandmother. Lakshmi kisses Rohan, telling him that’s why everyone loves him so much. As Rohan tries to get up, Lakshmi advises him to be careful. Rohan assures her that he’s fine and hugs both her and Paru.
Later that night, Rishi tucks Rohan into bed, telling him to get better soon. Rohan insists he’s already feeling fine and will recover even more. Paru reminds everyone that the doctor advised against crowding around Rohan, so she insists that everyone leave while she stays with her brother. Aanchal agrees, but reassures Paru that they’ll all be nearby if needed. Paru promises she can handle it. Rohan says he does need something, and when Karishma asks what it is, Rohan says he needs Lakshmi maa. Everyone is stunned. Lakshmi steps forward, telling Rohan she’s right there. Rohan then requests that Lakshmi cook his favorite dish, and Paru chimes in, saying she’d like to eat it too. Malishka offers to make it for Rohan, but he insists he only wants Lakshmi’s cooking. Aayush jokes that they all want a taste of the dish, but his comment is met with silence. Rohan asks everyone to leave, saying he wants to rest, and tells Lakshmi to prepare the dish for when he wakes up. As Rohan lies down, Paru assures him that she’s right there if he needs anything, and he goes to sleep.
Malishka storms off in a fury, and Karishma follows her, asking why she didn’t behave properly. Karishma scolds Malishka for being so calm when Paru asked them all to leave, and Malishka was the first to go. Malishka defends herself, saying that she did what everyone wanted, but complains that everyone only listens to Paru. She bitterly adds that her own son Rohan has started loving Lakshmi like a mother, even though she had warned everyone that Lakshmi should stay away from Rohan. Malishka is frustrated that Paru defended Lakshmi, and now Lakshmi is cooking for Rohan while she’s left sitting here. Malishka laments that no one cares for her, even though she is Rohan’s mother. Karishma warns Malishka to behave more maturely.
Elsewhere, Rishi is sitting in silence, tears in his eyes. Aayush approaches and asks why he’s emotional when everything is fine. Rishi explains that he didn’t realize it at first, but adopting Rohan was the best decision he ever made. Rohan brought joy into his life and helped him find happiness again. Aayush agrees, acknowledging how much Rohan has changed Rishi’s life. Rishi reflects on how helpless he felt when Rohan was sick, praying that God take everything from him if it meant Rohan would recover. Rishi shares that he will never forget the day he met Rohan at the orphanage—how Rohan came up to him and their heads bumped, just like Lakshmi does. Rishi explains that Rohan is the reason he had to bring Malishka back into his life, but Aayush advises him to let it all go and focus on the present, since Rohan is now healthy and happy. Aayush suggests they share a hug, which makes Rishi smile.
Meanwhile, Karishma warns Malishka to accept her role as Rohan’s mother with an open heart, and not to fight with Paru, who is still a child. She urges Malishka to accept both Rohan and Paru.
Rishi tells Aayush that a child becomes the center of a person’s life. He explains that he felt suffocated when Rohan got sick, completely helpless, and kept praying for Rohan’s recovery. He remembers the first time he met Rohan at the orphanage, how their heads hit each other and Rohan repeated it, just like Lakshmi does. Rishi admits that Rohan has brought immense joy into his life, and Aayush encourages him to focus on the positive—Rohan is back to enjoying life. Aayush hugs Rishi, lifting his spirits.
Karishma, frustrated, leaves Malishka after warning her to change her attitude. Alone, Malishka fumes, feeling that everyone scolds her but never listens to her concerns. She vows not to tolerate this treatment any longer.
