Malishka shows Dadi the dirt and asks if she can’t match it to the shirt. Karishma questions her mother about continuing to support Lakshmi, to which Malishka replies that she can accept it was just an accident. However, she wonders why Lakshmi tried to hide the proof. Malishka insists she won’t tolerate anything wrong done to her son or let it slide. Lakshmi responds that she cannot understand their mindset: do they love their son more than they hate her? She expresses confusion over why she is fighting with them and questions why Paru hasn’t returned the phone. Neelam interrupts, asking if Lakshmi thinks they will argue with her without worrying about the children in the house. She mentions that she has already called the doctor. Karishma also warns Lakshmi not to do anything foolish, asking if she thinks they would allow her to harm the children. Lakshmi wonders how they can think this way about her. Malishka retorts that Lakshmi will have to accept the truth and claims that Lakshmi is jealous because she is the mother of a son. This accusation angers Lakshmi, who cannot bear being blamed for jealousy. She argues that people try to compare sons and daughters as if they are the same, but they are inherently different. Lakshmi questions how Malishka can say such things, given her background in a respected and educated family. She expresses shame over Malishka’s words. Malishka counters that Lakshmi cannot hide the truth, suggesting that Lakshmi desires a son and warns her not to lie. Malishka insists that Lakshmi is praying to have a son in her life, causing Lakshmi to recall her son with whom she used to play alongside Paru. Overwhelmed with emotion, Lakshmi begins to cry.

Meanwhile, Rishi urges Aayush to drive faster, anxious about Rohan’s condition. Aayush advises Rishi to call Lakshmi, but when he does, she doesn’t answer. Rishi then tries to reach Malishka. Aayush suggests calling the family doctor instead, and Rishi does so, only to learn the doctor is already en route. Rishi urges them to hurry.

Lakshmi insists on taking Rohan to the doctor, but Neelam warns her not to touch him. Emotional, Lakshmi states that Neelam can say anything to her once they get to the hospital, but Malishka interjects that the doctor will arrive at their house before they get there. She warns Lakshmi to avoid arguing with Neelam. Lakshmi pleads to take Rohan to the hospital, but Neelam maintains that she has warned Lakshmi to keep her distance from Rohan. Lakshmi begs Neelam not to do this, asserting that she loves Rohan deeply and believes he will desire her once he wakes up. Malishka claims she is Rohan’s mother and insists that had Neelam not intervened, she would have acted the same way towards Lakshmi. Emotional, Lakshmi tries to clarify her intentions, stating she has never done anything wrong. Malishka warns Lakshmi to control her emotions around her, suggesting that she is unworthy of being a mother. Lakshmi pleads with Malishka not to say such hurtful things, emphasizing that a mother cannot do anything wrong to her children. Aanchal interjects, asserting that being a mother is necessary, but Lakshmi is not Rohan’s biological mother. Lakshmi counters that she still considers him her son. Lakshmi asks for how long Neelam will maintain her disbelief, prompting Neelam to respond that Lakshmi should change her mind and demonstrate that the incident was accidental. Neelam claims that her sacrifices in building the house grant her authority over it. Neelam accuses Lakshmi of wrongdoing and asserts that she will keep her distance from Rohan. The servant announces that the doctor has arrived just as Lakshmi rushes to him, explaining that Rohan fell from the stairs. Malishka instructs Anoushka to take the doctor, and they leave as Rishi and Aayush also hurry into the house, heading straight to Rohan’s room.

Dadi approaches Lakshmi and asks her to sit beside her, reassuring her not to worry because Rohan only sustained a minor injury, which is why Neelam is behaving unusually. Lakshmi shares that her existence revolves around her children, expressing her willingness to do anything for them. She pleads, saying that seeing Rohan in pain hurt her deeply. Dadi notes that she can see the truth in Lakshmi’s eyes and that it’s unnecessary for everyone to trust her motherhood, especially if someone has misled them. Lakshmi insists that she doesn’t seek validation from others but merely prays for Rohan’s recovery.

Meanwhile, Rishi and the doctor rush into Rohan’s room as Paru wonders about her mother. After helping Neelam sit by Rohan’s side, she runs out. The doctor inquires about the incident, and Malishka accuses Lakshmi of being responsible for Rohan’s fall. Rishi questions Neelam about what happened, but she insists they can discuss it later. Rishi takes Malishka aside, asking why she blamed Lakshmi. Malishka insists she witnessed Lakshmi throwing dust into the air, causing Rohan’s fall. Rishi refuses to accept her claim and tries to leave, but Malishka asserts that even Neelam believes she is right to ask Lakshmi to stay away from Rohan. Rishi, entering the room, declares that Malishka should never question Lakshmi’s motherhood, as she is the best mother. Neelam, entering shortly after, counters that while Rishi can think well of Lakshmi, she has made up her mind and will not let anything happen to the children, meaning Lakshmi must stay away from Rohan. Neelam leaves with Malishka, leaving Rishi concerned.

Lakshmi hugs Dadi tightly and suddenly recalls the day she lost her son. Panic sets in as she asks Dadi to go be with Rohan and reassures her that she is fine. Dadi observes that Lakshmi is not truly fine and presses her to reveal what’s wrong. Lakshmi’s worry grows as she feels she is hiding something.
