Bhagya Lakshmi 28th October 2024 Written Update
Neelam explains that a mother loves all those who love her son, and she feels fortunate to have someone who loves him unconditionally and without expectations. As she stands up, she explains that this is why she has made the Sarghi for that very person. She asks Mukesh to hand her the Sarghi, which he does. Neelam acknowledges that many might see her as selfish for thinking only of herself, but she doesn’t care about their opinions. She intends to give the Sarghi to the one who remains with Rishi, even after being hurt numerous times, someone who has forgotten many things yet stands by his side. Neelam declares she will give the Sarghi to the person who has been raising the child of this house alone while Rishi was absent. Rishi agrees with his mother that Lakshmi has indeed raised Paru without him. Aayush smiles, thinking of Lakshmi Bhabhi and her capacity for goodness. Dadi observes that Neelam’s heart has accepted the truth, and she seems ready to embrace Lakshmi. Hearing this, Lakshmi rises to take the Sarghi, but Neelam walks past her directly to Malishka, stating that this Sarghi is for her. Malishka feels relieved, and Neelam smiles. Lakshmi, however, is taken aback. Malishka seeks Neelam’s blessings, saying she would be just as happy if Neelam blessed her. Karishma agrees with Neelam Bhabhi, noting that Malishka was the one who raised Rohan by herself during Rishi’s absence. Aanchal adds that Malishka accepted a reality that no other woman could, as the first wife took her place in this house. Lakshmi, feeling defeated, leaves the hall, followed by Rishi, who apologizes for what occurred. She insists it’s not his fault but her own foolish behavior, stating she came to this house as Paru’s mother while Malishka is still the daughter-in-law, so he shouldn’t feel guilty. Dadi then stops Lakshmi, surprising everyone, and calls her back.
Dadi asks Lakshmi to stand still and takes the Sarghi from Malishka, approaching Lakshmi. Confused, Lakshmi questions her actions, and Dadi asserts her right to give the Sarghi to Lakshmi, the mother of her great-granddaughter and the wife of her grandson, a right Lakshmi herself granted. Neelam attempts to argue, but Dadi insists she can give this Sarghi to her. Dadi questions why Lakshmi is looking at Neelam and states that her silence indicates acceptance. Lakshmi then accepts the Thali. Dadi encourages her to seek blessings from the elders, so Lakshmi slowly walks toward Neelam, who, however, walks away. Malishka, furious, also leaves. Aanchal and Karishma find themselves speechless. Dadi goes to bless Lakshmi before walking away.
Balvinder sits, looking at photos of Malishka and Lakshmi when Bablu enters, saying he dislikes the tea he brews, unsure of what the vendor puts in it. He praises Balvinder’s tea, but after a moment, Balvinder shows him a photo of Lakshmi, and Bablu praises her. Balvinder then switches the photo to one of Malishka. Bablu asks if Balvinder’s sister-in-law has changed. Balvinder brushes it off, stating it doesn’t matter. He admits he can’t stop thinking about Malishka. Balvinder reflects on what he has learned from the situation, claiming that the saying that men are bad is untrue since he has good thoughts about her. He believes men have respect, a heart, and know right from wrong, and they try to correct their mistakes, as he is doing. Bablu advises Balvinder to remain true to himself. The vendor selling bangles arrives, prompting the women to call their husbands downstairs to buy them. Balvinder wonders why all the women want bangles today, and Bablu informs him that it’s Karwa Chauth.
Neelam sits quietly when she hears a knock on the door. Karishma enters, asking if she can pose a question. Neelam agrees, and Karishma asks why Bhabhi allowed Lakshmi to keep the Varth. Neelam expresses her surprise at Karishma’s question, saying she could have understood it if Malishka had asked. Neelam explains that mummy ji desires this and she chooses to accept the decision as part of their teachings. She adds that she won’t do anything for Malishka if it means going against her mother-in-law. Malishka interjects, suggesting that Neelam is willing to ruin her life for this. Neelam states that Malishka has known her for years and will not argue with mummy ji today. Both Karishma and Malishka know how much she has suffered, and she intends to ensure that mummy ji experiences no stress today. Neelam insists she won’t provide any further explanations.
Lakshmi walks with a tray, offering milk to Paru and Rohan. They ask if she’s going out and express their desire to accompany her, but Lakshmi replies that she is not going anywhere. When Paru asks why she’s dressed in new clothes, Lakshmi explains she has kept the Varth. Paru and Rohan mention that this is why their male teacher said their lady teacher wouldn’t be present today. Rohan confirms it, adding they would have showcased their robot otherwise. Lakshmi is shocked to hear they’ve actually created it, and she asks if they’ve informed their father, but Rohan replies they haven’t yet. Rishi says he knows because he spoke to their school principal, who was impressed by the robot. They all share praises when Paru remarks that her mother looks very beautiful today, leading to the expectation that Dad would apply Kajal. Rishi questions the need for it, while Rohan insists it’s because Paru said so. Rohan explains that Badi mom applies the black tika to them daily to ward off the evil eye. Lakshmi stands up, denying that she looks pretty. Rishi urges her to see herself through his eyes and applies the black tika behind her ear. Paru and Rohan begin dancing, declaring that no evil eye can affect Lakshmi maa because Dad has protected her. Malishka grows worried, feeling their love is intensifying, as Lakshmi seems to take everything from her. Frustrated, she leaves, unable to bear the sight of them. Rishi and Lakshmi continue to gaze at each other.
