Rishi is thoroughly enjoying the food, praising it for being delicious. He inquires about Lakshmi, noting that she hasn’t been her usual self. When she expresses confusion over his comment about her not completing her tasks on time, he reminds her that she still hasn’t put her belongings in the wardrobe. Lakshmi admits she didn’t think it would be possible, but Rishi insists they need to get it done. He then offers to share his food, revealing he brought an extra tortilla for her, thinking she might be hungry. Lakshmi points out that there’s only one plate, but Rishi explains that sharing food is said to strengthen love.

Malishka is taken aback when Neelam enters the room and asks whom she was talking to. Hesitant and glancing at Balvinder hiding behind the door, he quickly leaves. Malishka sits on the bed, overwhelmed and begins to cry, telling Neelam that she was just talking to herself. Neelam assures her that she’s always there for her, prompting Malishka to express her awareness of this support. Neelam encourages her to take the medicine, explaining that she won’t let anything bad happen to her. Malishka feels relieved that Balvinder left at the right time, fearing she would have been caught otherwise. Neelam advises her to stop worrying and leave everything to her. Grateful, Malishka thanks Neelam, who then helps tuck her into bed before wishing her good night. Neelam turns off the light with the remote, stepping outside the room with a vow to reclaim all the rights and happiness that Malishka deserves.

Rishi asks Lakshmi what she’s thinking, noting that they’ve shared a plate before, so it shouldn’t be a big deal. However, Lakshmi appears tense when Rishi mentions that he only said sharing food doesn’t increase love to avoid going downstairs for another plate. He comments on the spiciness of the food, praising the garlic, and asks if she would eat it now. Lakshmi playfully suggests that Rishi has become a cook, to which he responds that while he knows how to run hotels and restaurants, she implies he doesn’t really know how to cook. Rishi challenges her to prove it after tasting, but Lakshmi insists he should let it go. He refuses, insisting she eat, and ultimately, she does. Lakshmi acknowledges that the food is indeed as tasty as Rishi described. When Rishi offers to feed her, she insists she will eat by herself. They begin eating from the same plate, while Balvinder, eavesdropping, thinks about his feelings for Lakshmi, believing their bond will not last long as he intends to be there for her.

Neelam is in bed when she hears a knock at her door and wonders who it could be. Opening the door, she is surprised to find Malishka, who apologizes for knocking so late. Neelam invites her in, noticing that Malishka doesn’t seem okay. Malishka admits she feels restless and overwhelmed. Neelam reassures her that worrying won’t solve anything, while Malishka expresses her hopes resting on her mother. Neelam assures her that she will take action, but Malishka presses for details. She explains that with Karwa Chauth approaching, if Neelam gives the Sargi to Lakshmi, it would imply that her claims of support are hollow. Conversely, if she doesn’t, there will be tension with her son and mother-in-law, creating household problems. Neelam tells Malishka she will have her answer on Karwa Chauth. After Malishka leaves, Neelam is left feeling anxious.

On the morning of the tenth day, Dadi heads to the Mandir, greeted by Anoushka. Dadi asks if Aayush has woken up, already knowing the answer. Aayush, appearing from behind, acknowledges Dadi’s knowledge of him. He mentions he couldn’t sleep due to Anoushka’s noise. Anoushka defends herself, saying she was getting ready. Dadi scolds Aayush not to tease the women today since they are fasting. Malishka enters and greets them, prompting Dadi to ask why she looks worried. Malishka questions why Dadi hasn’t asked about her presence. Dadi reminds her it’s Karwa Chauth. Malishka mentions Lakshmi is also keeping the fast, walking away. Dadi stops her, asserting that Lakshmi is fasting as it’s her right, while Malishka is doing so out of desire. Malishka insists she is Rishi’s wife and questions if they would still be together if they had the divorce papers. Dadi advises her to focus on doing good today, as it’s a special occasion. Anoushka follows Malishka out. Dadi motions for Aayush to find out why others are absent. He mentions smelling something delicious in the kitchen, but Dadi clarifies she’s asking about the family. Aayush jokes about still being sleepy, then smiles as he sees Lakshmi descending the stairs. Malishka glares at her and tries to get up, but Anoushka stops her. Lakshmi approaches Dadi to seek blessings, with Anoushka doing the same, though Dadi advises that blessings should come from the heart. Neelam arrives late, explaining she was preparing for the day. Dadi notes that even Karishma would have done something special for Anoushka, to which Karishma agrees. Aanchal brings food for the boys, pointing out that everyone seems more concerned about the girls than just Anoushka and Malishka. Dadi acknowledges Lakshmi but emphasizes that Neelam, Aanchal, and Karishma are worried too. Rishi descends, apologizing for being late. Aayush reassures him that he is actually on time. Dadi agrees, and as Rishi hugs Neelam, she comments on how Rishi only agreed with her. He replies that he loves his mother, and Dadi asks about her. Rishi hugs her, saying he loves her even more, affirming he can’t neglect those who love him. Neelam notices Rishi gazing at Lakshmi.
