Bhagya Lakshmi 24th September 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Neelam feeling anxious about the court hearing. She tells Aanchal that she can’t bear the thought of losing Paru. Aanchal reassures her, saying that everyone understands how much she cares for Paru, but Neelam feels no one truly knows. Neelam confesses that, while Rishi has always been her love and weakness, her bond with Paru has grown even stronger over time. She explains how she’s always controlled her emotions, but when it comes to Paru, she feels powerless. Neelam reveals that she’s prayed to Ganpati for Paru’s wellbeing, something she only does when she feels utterly helpless. Aanchal tells her not to worry, reassuring her that everything will turn out fine. Neelam, however, admits that this time, her worry is greater than ever. Aanchal promises to stand by her side through it all.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi tries to stop Rishi from doing something drastic. Rishi, determined, insists he needs to fix everything and confronts her, saying she deserves to know who his true wife is. Lakshmi tries to reason with him, asking him to think about what might happen. Rishi, frustrated, asks her if she believes the court was wrong and questions whether the judge made the decision under pressure. Lakshmi, feeling overwhelmed, says she just wants to go back to her room. Rishi, however, tells her that she’s constantly testing his love, and he’s tired of her doubting their relationship. He vows that no matter what she does, he’ll always be there for her and wait for her to give their relationship another chance.
Rishi then reflects on their past, admitting that while a lot has happened that hurt them both, they still have the present. He promises that if Lakshmi gives their relationship a chance, he will make their future so beautiful that the past will no longer haunt them. Lakshmi, emotional, tells him to stop talking like this, but Rishi insists that she needs to trust him. Just then, Rohan trips over a suitcase, and both Rishi and Lakshmi rush to help him. Paru playfully tells them that when someone falls, they need to bump heads twice to avoid bad luck, mentioning a black dog as part of the superstition. Rishi and Lakshmi, caught in the moment, bump heads again, both thinking back to the times they shared as a couple. Paru and Rohan laugh, observing how well Rishi and Lakshmi still get along.
The next morning, Neelam and the entire family are performing a pooja. Malishka performs the rituals with Rishi, but he keeps glancing at Lakshmi. When it’s Lakshmi’s turn to take the aarti, Rishi holds onto the thali, refusing to let go. He assures her that no one, including Bhagwan, will mind if they perform the ritual together again. Malishka, furious, watches as Rishi and Lakshmi perform the aarti together. Aayush and Anoushka then come forward to take their turn, but Shalu notices something is off with Aayush.
Aayush, distracted, walks away to take a phone call. Shalu, concerned, follows him and asks why he’s behaving strangely. Aayush brushes her off, saying he’s just talking to the band for an upcoming event. Shalu, not convinced, presses him, telling him she knows something is bothering him and that he can confide in her. Aayush thinks back to a moment when he saw Shalu with Aansh and overheard Anoushka saying she was glad to be Aansh’s wife. Shalu follows Aayush, demanding that he tell her what’s wrong.
Meanwhile, Malishka is having a conversation with Anoushka, who admits she put on an act to make Aayush feel guilty for looking at other women. Malishka praises her for being clever, but Anoushka insists she’s just learning from the best. Malishka advises her not to let anyone take away her rights. Anoushka reassures Malishka that she won’t, and the two share a smug moment before heading out for the Vasergen.
Back with Aayush, Shalu continues to follow him, demanding answers. When he keeps avoiding her questions, she makes him swear on her life to reveal what’s going on. Aayush, finally unable to avoid her any longer, stops in his tracks.
