Bhagya Lakshmi 23rd September 2024 Written Update
The episode starts with Malishka walking when Karishma approaches her, asking if she’s alright. Malishka assures her that she is. Karishma, clearly worried, asks why Balvinder tried to kill her and insists on calling the police. Malishka quickly assures her that there’s no need, explaining that she had orchestrated the entire thing, asking Balvinder to act. Karishma, confused, asks why. Malishka explains that Rishi mentioned he’d do the same for anyone in the family, so she wanted to test his feelings, especially in Lakshmi’s presence. Karishma asks if Malishka is confident in her plan, and Malishka replies that love often comes with jealousy and fear. She plans to manipulate Lakshmi’s emotions and is confident that this game will secure her victory this time. Kiran, overhearing the conversation from outside the kitchen, becomes worried.
Meanwhile, Paru and Rohan are pleading with their father, Rishi, who refuses to agree to their request. The kids then turn to their mom, Neelam, asking her to convince him. Rohan innocently questions why their father won’t agree. Neelam explains that they’ve never had a fish aquarium in the house. Rohan argues that they’ve done things they never did before, so why not this? Paru, missing their village fish, Bansi, tries to persuade them, and Neelam and Rishi share a concerned look. Malishka enters and interrupts, handing Rishi his medicine. The kids persist, but Neelam says there’s something more important to address first. She asks Neelam about the auspicious time for the upcoming pooja, to which Neelam replies she’ll ask the pandit. Neelam, worried, reflects on the recent incidents, first at the hotel and now at home. Paru and Rohan decide to leave to finish their homework, and Neelam praises their bravery, making them feel proud.
Neelam expresses her pride to Rishi, noting how well the children handled the smugglers. Rishi smiles, appreciating how Neelam lights up when she talks about the kids. Malishka, however, turns the conversation somber by expressing her fear that the court might grant custody of Paru to Lakshmi. Neelam firmly states that she will never allow that to happen and orders Rishi to speak to Lakshmi, ensuring Paru remains in the Oberoi mansion.
Aayush stops his car to let Aansh out. Aansh thanks him, sensing some tension between them due to his liking for Shalu. Aayush remains silent, prompting Aansh to kneel dramatically by the car door, forcing Aayush to honk until he moves away.
Back home, Shalu brings water to Rano, who questions her about Aansh. Shalu tries to deflect, but Rano insists that something is going on between Aayush and Aansh. Rano, sensing potential problems, advises Shalu to clear things up with both men to avoid any future complications. Shalu decides to call Aayush. As Aayush drives, he hesitates, debating whether to tell Shalu how he truly feels. However, he dismisses the idea and lets the call end. Shalu grows anxious when Aayush cancels her call, eventually switching off his phone. Confused and concerned, she wonders why he is avoiding her.
Lakshmi, working around the house, reflects on Neelam’s words about Paru. Paru and Rohan approach Lakshmi, offering their help. When Lakshmi asks what they want, they mention the fish aquarium. They plead with her to convince Rishi, as he had refused. As they hug her, Paru spots Rishi approaching, and the kids quickly leave. Rishi asks Lakshmi what’s going on with the kids, but she brushes him off and heads to her room.
In her room, Lakshmi thinks about her recent interactions with Rishi. While Dadi had advised her to let Rishi come closer, seeing Malishka take care of him reminded Lakshmi of their complicated situation. Lost in thought, she steps onto the balcony. Rishi enters the room and notices her crying. Concerned, he calls out to her. Lakshmi turns and, after some hesitation, asks what he’s doing in her room. Rishi, unsure how to approach the situation, admits that he’s confused about her recent behavior. Lakshmi tries to deflect, but Rishi insists she tell him what’s troubling her. Lakshmi, overwhelmed, apologizes and admits she made a mistake. She confesses that she’s human and prone to errors, but emphasizes that she can’t claim something that isn’t hers. Rishi, confused, asks her to clarify, but Lakshmi, growing emotional, urges him to leave and return to his own room.
Rishi, frustrated, asks how he’s supposed to understand her feelings if she doesn’t share them. Lakshmi, clearly conflicted, mentions that she’s realized some things weren’t as they seemed. Rishi, thinking she’s referring to the bracelet he gifted her, tries to explain, but Lakshmi interrupts, saying the bracelet isn’t the issue. She explains that she’s realized that Malishka is his wife, and seeing him save her earlier confirmed this for her. Rishi, growing frustrated, tells her to stop talking.
Meanwhile, Aayush returns home, and Anoushka notices something is off. Concerned, she sits beside him and asks what’s bothering him, but he brushes her off. She insists that he seems troubled and offers to massage his head to ease his tension. Though reluctant at first, Aayush eventually lets her help. Anoushka, in a heartfelt moment, tells Aayush how proud she is of him and how he always puts others first. Aayush, overwhelmed, abruptly stands up and questions why she’s saying all this, leaving her confused.
Back in Lakshmi’s room, Rishi, frustrated, accuses her of always jumping to conclusions. Lakshmi, hurt, asks why he’s dismissing her feelings as unimportant. Rishi, exasperated, retorts that she never really listens to what’s important. Lakshmi, taken aback, asks what feelings he’s referring to, but Rishi, still frustrated, says she only ever cares about her perspective and never considers others’ feelings. Unable to resolve their argument, Rishi storms out, leaving Lakshmi deeply worried.
