Bhagya Lakshmi 19th October 2024 Written Update
Lakshmi is standing by the pillar and as the hour passes, she approaches Shalu, expressing her frustration that even the doctors are not providing any information, so she plans to go see for herself. Rishi stops her, saying they cannot go inside while the treatment is ongoing, when Neelam arrives to inform Rishi that he should go himself. Karishma insists it’s their duty to inform them about what has happened. Rishi attempts to explain that the doctors are still treating her. Lakshmi mentions that Paru might need something, asking what they should do. Rishi responds that the doctors would have let them know if anything was needed. Finally, Shalu manages to convince Lakshmi to wait.
Balvinder questions how Malishka could have been born into such a wealthy family when she behaves just like a criminal, always fighting. Malishka warns Balvinder to stop saying hurtful things and prepares to leave, but Balvinder asserts it’s his house and pushes her out the door. Furious, Malishka asks how he dared to push her and labels him a loser.
When the doctor comes out, Rishi, Lakshmi, and everyone else quickly ask for news. The doctor reassures them that Paru is fine, and they all feel relieved. However, he informs them that Paru needs to stay for a few more hours and requests they do not force him to let her go home. Lakshmi agrees to wait for Paru. Rishi tells his mother not to worry, to which Neelam replies that she felt relieved upon hearing Paru is okay. Karishma comments on how much they’ve all faced in the past few days. Aayush reassures them that everything is fine and that Paru will come home with them. Rishi agrees, saying they won’t leave without Paru. However, Neelam interjects that they have to leave, and when Rishi asks where, she reminds him that today is the court hearing.
Balvinder walks back to the house when Malishka retorts that he keeps claiming he can do it all, but she is the clever one who even texted him from the police station—yet he didn’t run away. She questions if he was just making tortillas, calling him a loser. Balvinder tries to argue that he is not a loser, but Malishka sits at the table and states that this is how he treats his previous wives. She declares he isn’t worth her time, walking out while angrily stating that he couldn’t even handle a small task yet wants Lakshmi, insisting he would even fetch her slippers. She leaves, taking the keys with her.
Neelam states that today will determine what is right and wrong. Lakshmi wonders how they can leave Paru alone. Aanchal suggests it’s necessary, though Rishi is worried. Aanchal offers to stay with Paru in the hospital, assuring them that she’ll be there so Paru doesn’t feel scared. Lakshmi hopes they can delay the hearing for a few more days, but Karishma informs her it’s too late since they are scheduled for the first hearing. Rishi leaves, asking Aanchal to take care of Paru. Lakshmi, looking at Paru through the window, asks her not to worry and to get better, promising they will return to their own home and village. She admits it was a mistake to stay there and vows to keep Paru away from troubles, mentioning their return to the village. Lakshmi approaches Aanchal, who is on the phone, signaling her to look after Paru. Aanchal agrees, and Lakshmi walks away, with Shalu following her.
The judge inquires how long it will take, and the lawyer apologizes for being delayed in traffic. Just then, Rishi enters and apologizes for his delay, prompting the judge to begin the hearing. The lawyer representing Lakshmi presents the file, and the judge reviews it. She asks Rishi and Lakshmi how everything is going and where Paru is, questioning why she hasn’t arrived with her brother. Lakshmi begins to cry, and Rishi hands her a napkin to wipe her tears. The judge expresses concern, asking Lakshmi what’s wrong. Lakshmi explains that Paru is unwell and admitted to the hospital. The judge then asks if Paru’s condition is serious. Rishi reveals that Paru was kidnapped, and when the judge inquires who was behind it, Rishi states they don’t know, as the kidnappers fled before they could reach them. Lakshmi vows not to let the culprit get away, and when the judge asks about Paru’s condition, Rishi reassures her that she is fine. Lakshmi states they didn’t want to come to court, and Rishi agrees, saying they couldn’t delay the proceedings any longer. The judge reminds them to trust the court and police force. Rishi expresses his distrust of certain individuals, claiming they would go to any lengths. Lakshmi adds that despite their wealth, some people want to take away what is dear to others, specifically her Paru. Rishi agrees, saying it’s all an act, that they’re pretending to care for Paru. He shares that when Paru was being treated, he went to fill out formalities, but upon returning, he couldn’t find anyone. Lakshmi notes that the ward boy had asked them to go to the waiting room, claiming he wasn’t there either when Rishi went to donate blood. The judge asks them to calm down, explaining they only need to talk to her, prompting both Rishi and Lakshmi to apologize. Rishi urges Lakshmi to wipe her tears with the napkin, but Lakshmi insists she won’t stop expressing her feelings, throwing the napkin aside. Rishi claims he has many things to say and is not interested in her remarks, so she can say whatever she wants. Neelam stands up and requests the judge to announce the decision of the case. The judge acknowledges Neelam as Paru’s grandmother and indicates that she is aware of everything from past hearings. Neelam recalls being thrown out of the court. The judge states that the case is related to the child’s life, urging her to think carefully. Malishka interjects, questioning what there is to think about, stating it’s evident they are fighting in front of the judge. She apologizes for interrupting but suggests it would be best for everyone if Rishi and Lakshmi separated. The judge asks Malishka if that is her name, explaining that this is a court, not her home, where she can dictate terms. She warns Malishka that if she continues speaking out of turn, she will be removed from the court. Malishka retorts that the judge is not understanding her feelings, asserting that she was just stating the truth regarding their fighting.
The judge addresses the family of Paru, stating she will ask each of them a question. She first calls Neelam to the witness box, asking for her thoughts on the current situation. The judge emphasizes that Neelam’s statement is crucial as Paru’s grandmother, and they need to understand her feelings. Neelam replies that she is grateful the judge is asking and is prepared to explain, but the judge insists her answer should be concise. Neelam asks if she has done anything wrong towards the judge, to which the judge responds that she isn’t concerned with anyone’s feelings and is against those who do not uphold the law. The judge presses for Neelam’s answer, telling her that if she isn’t interested, she should sit down. Neelam asserts that Paru should live with them because she loves her dearly and that Paru is the heart of their home. Lakshmi chimes in, saying that Paru is her life as well, emphasizing that she loves her just as much as Rishi, who declares he won’t allow anyone to take Paru away, accusing Lakshmi of having Paru kidnapped. Everyone is taken aback by his accusation.
