Bhagya Lakshmi 17th September 2024 Written Update
The episode starts with Rishi noticing Aayush standing in a corner. He approaches him, but Aayush seems lost in thought. Rishi asks if Aayush noticed him, and Aayush snaps out of his thoughts, asking what Rishi said. Rishi, sensing something is wrong, questions why Aayush looks so down while everyone else is having a good time. Aayush hesitates but then admits it’s Aansh who’s been bothering him. Rishi asks what Aansh did, and Aayush explains that Aansh is trying to befriend Shalu, but he’s getting weird vibes from it. Rishi asks what’s so wrong with that, to which Aayush responds that he’s not upset, but he feels jealous seeing Shalu and Aansh walking together and laughing. He adds that while he’s moved on in life, it still bothers him, and he feels like punching Aansh.
Meanwhile, a mysterious man wonders why his calls aren’t being answered. He hears someone knocking from inside a room and asks if they’re in the bathroom. Rano, trapped inside, confirms it’s her. Suddenly, the wardrobe opens, and David, along with his partner, emerges. The boss begins scolding David, accusing him of incompetence, especially after he got locked in a wardrobe. David explains that some other gang members locked him inside and even stole his clothes. However, he reveals he knows where the third diamond is: it’s with a girl wearing a bracelet. The boss demands her name, and David says it’s Lakshmi. The boss decides they’ll stage a robbery to get the bracelet, while Rano, still locked in the bathroom, struggles to hear what’s going on.
Elsewhere, Avinash, feeling perplexed, sees Paru and Rohan looking sad. He asks what’s wrong, wondering if they had a fight, but they deny it. They explain that they had expected a fun day but ended up only attending a lovely pooja. There are no kids to play with, they complain. Avinash chuckles, suggesting they have a third player. Paru and Rohan ask who, and Avinash cheekily says it’s him. They laugh, calling him old, but he insists on joining them. Paru suggests they play cops and robbers. Avinash volunteers to be the cop, but Paru insists they both be the police, so Avinash hides while they count.
Avinash hides in a room where Rano is locked in the bathroom, and she prays for help. Meanwhile, Paru and Rohan stumble into a room locked from the outside. They assume Mukesh locked it. Inside, they find the Inspector and Pandit sleeping on the bed. Rohan, scared, wants to leave, but Paru urges him to stay. They also find Mukesh under the bed.
Rano bangs on the bathroom door, asking for help. Avinash hears her and opens the door. Rano rushes out, relieved, and grabs a glass of water. Avinash asks how she got locked inside, and Rano explains it was the Pandit’s doing.
Meanwhile, Paru and Rohan wake up Mukesh, who then helps them wake up the Inspector and Pandit. Mukesh explains he was knocked out, and the Inspector says he experienced the same. The Inspector asks if the function is still ongoing, and they all head outside.
Back at the party, Rishi asks Aayush if he realizes that what he’s feeling is jealousy. Suddenly, Rano appears, warning Rishi that Lakshmi’s life is in danger. Alarmed, Rishi rushes off with Aayush. On their way, they encounter Rohan and Paru, who inform them about the unconscious Inspector, Pandit, and Mukesh. Realizing something is seriously wrong, Rishi, Aayush, and the kids vow to protect everyone. Rishi instructs Rohan and Paru to lock themselves in a room and not come out until a family member calls them. The kids reluctantly agree and leave.
Elsewhere, Aansh tries to chat with Shalu, asking her what her plans are for the future. Shalu, confused, asks what he means. He presses her to share whom she wants to marry. Shalu warns him not to rush their friendship, saying that true friends don’t need words to understand each other’s feelings. Aansh insists she should tell him everything about herself, after which he’ll no longer have any interest. Shalu, exasperated, calls him weird and walks away. Aansh tries one more time, asking what kind of guy she likes—someone like Rishi, Aayush, or him. Shalu dismisses him, saying she hasn’t even considered him as a friend yet. Just then, Rohan and Paru return to inform Shalu about the intruder who knocked out Mukesh, the Inspector, and the Pandit. Shalu, now worried, agrees to help and leads them to Dadi’s room for safety.
Lakshmi stands while Neelam performs the pooja. Suddenly, Balvinder interrupts, explaining that he tried calling Acharia Ji multiple times but couldn’t reach him. He suggests that they proceed with the pooja as the auspicious time is slipping away, and there’s nothing more they can do. Malishka agrees and urges them to go ahead. Neelam, however, grows suspicious and questions Malishka’s motives, accusing her of acting in self-interest. Karishma tries to calm Neelam, pointing out that it’s inappropriate to argue in front of everyone. Frustrated, Malishka storms off with the Pandit, leaving Lakshmi worried.
