Bhagya Lakshmi 17th November 2024 Written Update

Rishi stands lost in thought, wondering how Lakshmi could do this to him when he always tries to mend their relationship, but she keeps pushing him away. How is he supposed to handle everything? Lakshmi, coming from behind, looks at him and apologizes for hurting him. She explains that whenever he is near her, she is reminded of the painful moments from the past, moments when he hurt her. Rishi wonders how they can move forward if she keeps living in the past, as they both need to forget it and move on. Lakshmi, too, wonders how she can forget what happened, as it’s difficult for someone who’s gone through so much. Rishi asks her to understand him, too, as he needs her in his life. Lakshmi assures him she does understand and gently touches his back. However, when Rishi pulls his arm away and walks a bit farther, Lakshmi tries again to console him. She apologizes once more, saying she never meant to hurt his feelings, that everything was said in anger, and she shouldn’t have done that.

Rishi takes a deep breath and says that he feels light, like a burden has been lifted off him. He also apologizes, saying that when she says something hurtful, it’s hard for him to explain how much she means to him, as words can’t do justice. She’s the most important person in his life, and if she listens with her heart, she’ll know he’s telling the truth. Lakshmi replies that she sometimes feels the same, but there are moments when she feels like she means nothing to him. She confesses that she feels humiliated and worthless in front of him, like she has no place in his life. Lakshmi asks him not to do this again, but Rishi is confused, asking when he ever did that. Lakshmi recalls the night she saw him with Malishka, and Rishi continues to ask when that happened. Lakshmi tells him it was the night she found him with Malishka at her house.

Rishi apologizes again, saying he would never hurt her and that she won’t have to face such a day in her life. He even says he would rather die than let it happen. Lakshmi stops him, telling him not to say such things. Both are emotional, gazing at each other. Lakshmi says they won’t talk about it anymore, and they both feel a sense of relief. However, Lakshmi winces in pain, and when Rishi asks what happened, she tries to deny it. But Rishi insists, noticing her discomfort, and she admits she’s burned herself a little. Rishi insists on helping her, asking her to come with him to the room, but she says she can manage on her own. He responds, saying she would give her life for others but can’t take care of herself. He gently forces her to come with him as they head towards the room.

Meanwhile, Malishka runs to the balcony, crying uncontrollably. As she watches the lights on the street, she thinks about how everyone seems to be celebrating while her life is filled with pain. She feels like everything is slipping away—her life, her child, her family, and Rishi—all because of one mistake. She wonders why this is happening to her. Kiran, turning to Malishka, asks who the father of her child is. Kiran, shocked, says she never expected this from her and demands an explanation for her silence. She questions why Malishka is standing still, punishing herself, and reflects on how Malishka had lived with Rishi without being married to him and how her marriage was meaningless. Kiran accuses Malishka of humiliating their family and demands to know the identity of the child’s father. Malishka remains silent, and Kiran, feeling betrayed, says she’s going to kill herself. Malishka begs her not to say such things, apologizing profusely. But Kiran, in despair, attempts to climb onto the edge of the balcony. When she stands there, ready to jump, Malishka is horrified. Kiran, still standing on the ledge, demands to know the truth. Malishka, terrified, finally admits that Balvinder is the father of her child. Kiran is stunned and looks at Malishka, who is crying heavily.

Kiran, heartbroken, confronts Malishka, asking how she could have done this. Malishka hugs her mother, explaining that she was drunk that night and didn’t know what she was doing. She lost everything that day, and if she had been conscious, she would never have made that mistake. Kiran slaps her again, saying it’s done, and leaves, telling Malishka she can no longer consider her a daughter. Malishka, devastated, watches her mother walk away, tears streaming down her face. She collapses, questioning why this is happening to her, as her life feels destroyed. She thinks about the night she wanted with Rishi and wonders why it all turned out this way.

Back in the room, Rishi applies ointment to Lakshmi’s burn, commenting that she said it was just a little, but it’s actually quite bad. Lakshmi, touched by his care, admits she doesn’t know how to feel about him because her heart and mind are in conflict. Rishi says he can’t understand what she means, and she replies that he’s confused her. She doesn’t know whether to think well or poorly of him. Rishi, in his gentle way, tells her that she can think whatever she likes about him, but he assures her he’s not a bad person. Lakshmi says that with how much he cares for her and is always there for her, she knows he’s a dream man for many girls. Rishi asks what made her say that, and she explains that he’s always there to support her, but still, her heart doesn’t fully trust him. Rishi tells her that her heart never lies. At that moment, Malishka, standing at the door, overhears Rishi’s words as he asks Lakshmi to promise that she’ll always listen to her heart. He needs her support, as he can’t live his life without her, and he’d lose his way without her hand to guide him.

Malishka, in denial, turns away just as Kiran steps in front of her. However, Malishka walks away, unable to bear it anymore.

Lakshmi, moved by Rishi’s words, finally takes his hand. They smile at each other, a moment of understanding between them. Malishka, heartbroken, believes it’s all her fault, that she has caused this.

Rishi, looking at Lakshmi with determination, promises that he will never let her face any problems alone. He’ll always stand by her, and no one will ever harm her because they’re together. Meanwhile, Malishka, crying, runs away. Rishi, with a smile, wipes away Lakshmi’s tears, urging her to smile. She, feeling nervous but touched, finally smiles at him.
