Bhagya Lakshmi 16th September 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Lakshmi cleaning the floor. She prepares to take a basket to the kitchen, unaware of Rishi’s presence. Both seem confused for a moment. Rishi finally steps aside, allowing Lakshmi to wash her hands. As she turns to leave, Rishi stops her, causing her to feel a bit worried. He gently touches her face, and she asks what he’s doing. He replies that it’s for her own good. Lakshmi seems puzzled at first, but Rishi takes a napkin, wets it, and begins to clean her face. Lakshmi starts to smile. He asks if she will give him an answer, and she questions what the question is. Rishi says his questions aren’t as simple as hers, and she jokes that his questions are very strict. He teasingly asks if she’s a Hindi teacher and adds that he’s going to ask her something straightforward. Lakshmi challenges him to go ahead and ask.
Meanwhile, Malishka discusses Anushka’s comments, stating that Anushka believes Malishka doesn’t know how to control Rishi. Malishka, however, expresses confidence and says she knows exactly how to handle things and situations. Anushka teases her, asking if this new confidence is due to Balvinder, leaving Malishka momentarily stunned.
Back in the kitchen, Rishi finally asks Lakshmi if she can give their relationship another chance. Lakshmi remains silent, just staring at him. Rishi reassures her that she doesn’t have to answer right away and can take her time to decide. He then leaves the kitchen.
Elsewhere, Kiran reveals to Malishka that she was the one who informed Anushka about Balvinder. Malishka retorts, saying that Kiran must have also told her the reason for Balvinder’s visit and who called him. Malishka proudly admits that she called Balvinder to solve her problems, taunting Anushka to stop pointing fingers and start doing something productive. Anushka, feeling targeted, asks if Malishka’s comments were directed at her. Malishka clarifies that she was speaking generally, but if Anushka feels it applies to her, that’s fine too. Karishma steps in to stop the argument, reminding them that they’re on the same team despite having different goals. Malishka confidently mentions that her solution has arrived, referring to Balvinder.
Balvinder, meanwhile, is seen performing a pooja when he notices his accomplice entering. The smuggler becomes suspicious when his men fail to show up. Balvinder tells his friend that things are about to escalate and instructs Avinash to call Lakshmi, saying they need to assign her certain responsibilities. Avinash leaves as Balvinder senses something wrong is about to happen.
The police officer is seen trying to find a room. He encounters the smuggler, who asks why he’s wandering around. Offended, the inspector explains he needs to use the bathroom. The smuggler takes the officer to a room where the unconscious Pandit ji lies, claiming he’s just resting. Suddenly, the smuggler hits the inspector from behind and leaves with his pistol.
Elsewhere, Shalu is walking, deep in thought about Aayush’s behavior. Aansh approaches her, offering to cheer her up, but she coldly brushes him off. Despite Aansh’s persistence, Shalu eventually apologizes for being rude. He jokes that she must have had a fight with her boyfriend, to which she retorts that she’s safe from such drama. The two start walking together as Aayush watches from afar, feeling emotional as memories of his moments with Shalu resurface.
Balvinder, sensing imminent danger, tells Guddu to be ready to flee if things go south. He points out some suspicious activity nearby, indicating that trouble is brewing.
In another part of the house, Anushka informs Dadi that Mami has arrived. Dadi asks Neelam why she was late, and Neelam explains she was visiting an old age home funded by their NGO. Dadi urges her to perform the darshan, and Neelam asks the Pandit ji about the pooja thali. Neelam then questions why Acharia Ji hasn’t arrived, but Balvinder tries to cover for him, saying he’s also a qualified Brahmin and can perform the pooja. Neelam insists that she had arranged for Acharia Ji to perform the special pooja and doesn’t want to compromise. Balvinder, feeling nervous, wonders who he knocked unconscious earlier. Neelam, not satisfied, expresses her frustration, saying only Acharia Ji can handle such rituals. Karishma tries to calm the situation, but Neelam remains firm.
Anushka notices Balvinder’s wrist and whispers to Kiran that he is Balvinder in disguise. Malishka, sensing the tension, assures Neelam that she’ll call Acharia Ji to resolve the matter. Neelam, still skeptical, tells the Pandit ji not to worry but insists on waiting for Acharia Jagarnath Ji. Lakshmi enters and asks the Pandit ji what he wanted to discuss, but Neelam interjects, again asking why Acharia Ji hasn’t come. Balvinder, feeling the pressure, excuses himself, claiming he’ll go and call Acharia Ji. He leaves, worried about the situation.
