The episode begins with Rishi lying in bed, deep in thought about Lakshmi, while she struggles to sleep, recalling the moment when Rishi carried Malishka in his arms. Seeking some comfort, Rishi opens his window. Lakshmi awakens, wondering how long she can keep the truth from Rishi. He ponders why Lakshmi remains so silent, feeling an emptiness in his life.
Noticing a missed call from Shalu, Rishi calls her back. Shalu asks if he has gone through Lakshmi’s reports; he hasn’t and questions why she’s concerned. Spotting Lakshmi’s room door slightly open, Rishi walks in, but the call cuts off as his phone dies. He picks up the reports from her bed and hides as he hears Lakshmi approaching.
Malishka enters Lakshmi’s room, looking for Rishi, but can’t find him. Lakshmi challenges her, suggesting she search the room if she truly believes he’s there. As Malishka looks around, Rishi slips away unnoticed, though Lakshmi catches a brief glimpse of him leaving. Finding no trace of him, Malishka leaves.
Back in his room, Rishi faces Malishka’s questioning about his whereabouts, claiming he visited Ayush. She expresses sympathy for Ayush’s situation and mentions Anushka. Lakshmi calls Shalu, recounting Rishi’s visit and Malishka’s search, confused by his sudden intrusion. Realizing her reports are missing, she begins to suspect Rishi’s intentions and ends the call.
Looking into Rishi’s room and finding it empty, Lakshmi is startled when he appears, questioning why she’s there. She figures out that he hasn’t read the reports, based on his behavior. When she asks about his visit, he claims it was out of concern for her well-being. She insists that she’s fine, prompting him to encourage her to be truthful at times. Their conversation is overheard by Malishka, who pretends to be asleep when Rishi returns.
The next morning, Shalu arrives at the Oberoi mansion, where Ayush confesses his feelings for her, recalling their past flirtations. Their moment is interrupted by Karishma, who slaps Ayush.
