Apollena 5th December 2024 Written Episode Update

The episode starts with Apollena asking Madhu where her Papa has been taken and why they aren’t allowing them to go there. Renu’s husband tries to inquire about Girdhar’s whereabouts from the CBI, but the lawyer ends the call. Madhu dries her hair. Appu goes to her room and takes out Girdhar’s shirt, saying she will take it to him since he’s also drenched in water. Neil goes to inform Madhu. Apollena wears her father’s shirt and gets scared when the thunderstorm rumbles. She imagines her father telling her not to be afraid, that it’s just a technical glitch. She repeats this to herself. Neil enters and tells her something is being shown on TV. They hear the news that Pallavi Sachdeva has been arrested and is accused of leaking SRI files to neighboring countries. Her colleagues are also arrested for interrogation. Renu’s husband says if Girdhar is proven to be a traitor, he may never be released from jail, and in the army, a traitor is shot in the chest. Apollena and Neil are stunned. Neil asks if Papa is a traitor. Madhu insists that no, your Papa is not a traitor. Apollena asks if they will shoot Papa.

The next day, on 15th August, Apollena wakes up shouting “Papa” and saying that they have shot him. Madhu reassures her that it was just a bad dream. Amma mentions she couldn’t sleep all night. Renu says that they are leaving Girdhar, and her husband will bring him home. Apollena sees her father getting down from the police jeep, looking at her. Apollena runs toward him, but just then, reporters arrive and begin questioning Girdhar. Neil stops Appu. One reporter asks why he was given a clean chit, whether he really didn’t know about Pallavi, and if he has become a government witness. Girdhar asks to be left alone. Someone in the crowd calls him a traitor. Girdhar denies it, saying, “I am not a traitor.” The crowd calls him corrupt and a traitor, becoming increasingly hostile. Someone throws black ink on his face, accusing him of being a traitor. Everyone is shocked. Girdhar wipes his face and opens his arms to call Apollena, but she gets frightened and hides behind Madhu. Amma wipes his face with her pallu and says that they will not stay there, and will go back to Chitrakoot. Girdhar recalls telling Apollena that she is a “rocket girl.”

They travel to Chitrakoot. Renu’s husband remarks that Girdhar should have become a government witness. Girdhar asks why. He says that he knows Pallavi is innocent and that if she had become an astronaut, she would have done so much for the country. Renu’s husband asks how the SRI files were leaked to other countries. Girdhar says it was the Director and Vijayan, who fled to Singapore. He says that Pallavi had stored the files in the Director’s locker. He adds that if Pallavi had become an astronaut, she would have contributed greatly to the country. Amma says that Girdhar has lost his respect and asks if he wants to lose his life as well. Appu shouts “No!” Girdhar asks her to come to him. She runs toward him. He tells her to accept what her Dadi said and leave science behind. He then takes her outside, saying that the moon and stars revolve around scientific knowledge. She argues that they will kill him, asking who threw ink on his face. He tells her that they must show the world that they will not break and that her father is innocent. He asks how she will do this. She replies that she will do it by becoming a rocket girl. He asks if she truly wants to become a rocket girl. He warns her that it won’t be easy. Apollena says that she will do it and won’t be afraid. He asks for a promise, and she responds, “Promise.” He says that her training starts today. He takes her outside and tells her that today she will race against boys who are riding bicycles. He asks her to say some motivating words. She repeats them. He tells her to start as the race is about to begin. The boys gear up for the race, and Apollena stands ready. She starts running. He advises her to control her breathing.

She runs, growing up to become a beautiful young girl. The boys laugh at her. Apollena keeps running. Girdhar encourages her to stay focused. She reaches him, breathing heavily. Girdhar recalls Pallavi’s words and tells her that she has no control over her breath. He stresses the importance of stamina, concentration, and mental strength. He asks how she will survive in space without control over her breathing. Apollena responds that they were misbehaving with her. He tells her that they will discourage her, but she must decide if she will give up on her dream. Apollena says she will not lose control this time and will not be distracted. She runs toward home with a smile, determined not to fail.
