Anupama 8th December 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Anupama urging Rahi to wake up. Rahi opens her eyes and calls out, “Mummy.” Anupama reassures her, saying, “I’m here.” She asks if Rahi is okay. Rahi gazes at her, apologizes, and hugs her. Anupama comforts her with a pat on her back. Everyone reacts differently. Anupama holds Rahi in a warm embrace. “Ungli Pakadke” plays in the background, while Kinjal, Prem, Ansh, and Pari express their happiness, while others remain upset.
Later, Pakhi comments that Mummy forgave Rahi just because she shed a few tears. Toshu expresses frustration, stating that Mummy was arrested and humiliated, yet she didn’t say anything to Rahi. Dolly adds that if they were in Mummy’s place, they would have been thrown out, but instead, Mummy hugs Rahi as though she’s won a victory. Pakhi says one thing is certain: whatever Rahi does, she will always be precious to Mummy. Toshu responds, saying that even if they become the best sons, Rahi will remain Mummy’s favorite. Dolly sarcastically suggests that Mummy might even name the house after Rahi. Toshu insists that they need to do something about it.
Mahi reflects on the events since Rahi returned. Ansh and Pari discuss the positive changes in the house. Ishu asks Mahi if she feels insecure, hinting that Rahi will eventually take Prem away from her. She suggests that Rahi might be a dear daughter to Anupama but isn’t a good daughter. Ishu tells Mahi that she deserves everything, unlike Rahi.
Anupama is seen with Rahi, offering her an orange. She mentions that Rahi used to love them in her childhood, and the season is perfect for it. Anupama points out that the beauty of seasons is that they change, just like how the good ones eventually return. Kinjal enters and shares her joy at seeing Anupama so happy after so many years. Anupama expresses her happiness but admits that she still misses Baa. Rahi apologizes for her past actions and says she wants to make amends with Baa. She mentions that the house feels empty without her. Kinjal jokes that she can’t digest her food without Baa’s taunts. Anupama talks about Baa and says she will bring her back home.
They hear a noise outside and go out to investigate. They see Prem handing over the “Rahi ki Rasoi” name board to an old items collector. Anupama questions Prem about his actions, but Rahi steps in, asking the man to take the board. She then asks Prem to hang the “Anu ki Rasoi” board instead. Anupama stops him and adds Rahi’s name alongside hers. She explains that just like a bird struggles to fly on its first attempt, it will take time to rebuild, but they’ll manage together. Rahi nods in agreement, and they shake hands. Prem joins in, holding their hands. Rahi hugs Anupama, and Prem follows suit. Mahi watches, feeling upset.
Baa is with her friend, who urges her to return home, reminding her that she can’t live without her family. Baa mentions that her respect has been deeply hurt, so she can’t go back. As she stumbles and falls, Anupama catches her. Baa starts to leave, but Rahi arrives and apologizes for her past behavior, acknowledging her mistakes. She asks for forgiveness and requests Baa to return home. Anupama also pleads with Baa to come back. Baa expresses that while Rahi’s apology doesn’t change anything, she agrees to return. She makes it clear that she will never forgive Rahi, even if she acts sweet. Anupama assures Baa that their family will remain united.
Radha’s father plays with her, blowing soap bubbles. Toshu enters, slips on the soapy water, and scolds Radha. Kinjal advises him to relax, but Toshu vents his frustration, saying he shouldn’t have to tolerate other people’s children. Dolly says that Radha spends her time on Mummy’s swing, watching TV, and Toshu threatens to throw her out. Kinjal intervenes, stating that Mummy should make the decision. Toshu insists that he can’t wait any longer.
Anupama asks Baa if she doesn’t want to forgive Rahi, it’s fine, but she pleads for her not to leave the house. She says that she would have never felt bad if Baa had thrown Rahi out or refused to let her back in. Anupama thanks Baa’s friend for taking care of her and reassures Baa that she can’t live without her home and family. She reminds her that Babu ji and Baa built this house together and urges her to return. Rahi adds that Baa’s swing is waiting for her. Baa agrees to come back, but firmly states that she will never forgive Rahi, no matter what. Anupama asks her to come, and they walk together.
Back at home, Prem returns and tells Radha that he brought her new shoes. Mahi mentions that Toshu bhai had sent Radha away with her father in anger. Prem is surprised and goes outside to search for Radha. Anupama, Baa, and Rahi hear him calling for Radha and ask what happened. Prem explains everything, and Anupama says that Radha’s father is to blame for this situation. Rahi agrees, saying he is a bad person. Anupama advises Prem to take Baa home and tells him she will go to Radha’s house to find her.
Anupama and Rahi spot Radha’s father selling her to a woman, who offers him money in exchange. The father insists he’s not selling his daughter but simply offering her to do housework or care for the woman’s children. He demands a salary every month for it. Anupama and Rahi quickly intervene, pulling Radha to their side, and stop the transaction. The lady protests loudly, but Anupama shuts her down, shouting at her to stay quiet. A crowd begins to gather. Rahi grabs Radha’s father by the collar and demands how dare he treat his daughter like this. The father defends himself, claiming he’s not selling her but providing work for her. Anupama warns him, saying that if she had grabbed his neck, his breath would have stopped by now.
