Anupama 7th December 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Anupama going to her room and locking the door. She recalls Rahi’s words, saying it wasn’t her mistake, and that she should forgive her like always. She reflects on their moments together. A song plays… Mahi, Pari, Ansh, and others ask Anupama to open the door. Toshu asks, “What happened to you, Mummy?” Kinjal says, “Everyone is worrying, please open the door.” Prem reassures, “Nothing will happen.” Mahi asks Rahi to leave, saying, “Get out from here.” Prem tells her to calm down. Mahi responds, “I can’t calm down until she is here.” Prem says, “Let Anu Maam decide where she will go, not you.” Mahi insists, “Anudi has already decided; her silence means she wants Rahi to leave.” Kinjal says, “You don’t understand feelings; how will you understand silence?” She adds, “Don’t say what you want. Whatever Mummy decides, she will say it herself.” She tells Rahi, “Whatever you have done, even if you apologize for a lifetime, it won’t be enough.” She continues, “Mummy’s biggest happiness was finding you, and now you’re the biggest pain of her life.” She says, “Mummy will decide what to do with you.” Mahi argues, “Anudi’s anger has already decided.” Kinjal replies, “Learn to differentiate between anger and emotional pain. Mummy isn’t angry, but she’s in a lot of pain. Give her time.” Prem says, “She needs space and time.” Kinjal insists, “Let her be alone for a while.” Everyone leaves the room.
Mahi feels upset, thinking about how Prem is protecting Rahi. She eats something angrily and starts coughing. Prem comes running to her, asking, “What happened to you, Mahi?” He helps her drink water and asks if she’s fine. Mahi thinks to herself that she doesn’t want him to side with Rahi. She believes Rahi must go.
Anupama recalls the humiliating words she endured after her arrest. She misses her mother, saying, “There’s so much heat, I need your shelter, why aren’t you with me?” She imagines her mother appearing and gently placing a hand on her head. Anupama gets up and rests her head on her lap. She says, “Take me away from here, I don’t want to live.” Kanta tells her not to cry. Anupama says, “There’s only sadness, no happiness.”
She shares her pain and loneliness, saying, “There’s no one I can share my feelings with, no one who listens or understands me, who supports me.” She says, “I am lonely, not even Kanha ji is with me.” She continues, “I don’t know how long I can handle this.” She says, “In life, I’ve written many stories, thinking they would have happy endings, but life never lets any story complete, it wipes them out.” She says, “You told me to move on, but life always pushes me back. Every time I try to stand up, it pulls me down again.” She says, “Now, I feel like I’ve failed.” She asks, “Why don’t I see it, why do I always get broken?” She continues, “I gave responsibility to Rahi, but I should’ve been here to fulfill the task. I went to Dwarka to get Bubbly hospitalized.” She says, “Rahi couldn’t handle things due to her arrogance, attitude, and desire to insult me.” She says, “If anything had happened to anyone, I wouldn’t have forgiven myself.” She adds, “If anything happens to Jigna’s husband, I can’t forgive myself.” She says, “How can I leave everything to Rahi and leave?” Kanta tells her a story from her childhood when she tried to pick all the toys together, only for them to fall and break. She says, “You tried to take on too much, and now you want to handle many responsibilities on your own.” Kanta says, “If you stretch yourself too thin, things will fall apart.”
Rahi takes out her frustration on a hanging ball, hitting it with a bat. Prem rushes to her and hugs her. Rahi pushes him away, trying to leave. He hugs her again. Rahi cries. He gently moves her hair from her face, kisses her forehead, and hugs her once more. It turns out to be his imagination. He tells Rahi to stop and says, “You’ll hurt yourself.” Rahi responds, “Let me get hurt. I’ve hurt my mother, I should be punished a thousand times. I hate her because she now hates me.” Prem tells her, “She’s upset, but she doesn’t hate you.” Rahi asks, “Why is it so hard to be a mother? She gave me everything I asked for, she fulfilled all my stubbornness.” He tells her, “Go apologize to her. She will calm down.” Rahi replies, “I can’t calm down.” He removes the hanging ball and encourages her to go. Mahi watches them.
Kanta asks Anupama, “Are you angry with Rahi?” She says, “You have borne her anger, agreed to her stubbornness, and named the company after her, but her hatred isn’t decreasing.” Anupama says, “I love Mahi, but she doesn’t see how much I love her. She is Anuj and my daughter.” She asks, “Have I done right? She hurt people just to insult me.” Kanta advises, “Your daughter has realized her mistake. When she was angry, you wanted to comfort her, and today, your daughter was hugging you, trying to make things right.” She asks, “Now, you can either punish her and send her away, or forgive and embrace her.” She says, “You decide: punishment or forgiveness.” Anupama says, “Maa,” as the imagination fades.
Mahi approaches Prem and asks, “Where were Rahi and you last night?” Prem replies, “We were stuck. There was no network.” Mahi presses, “Where did you go that there was no network?” He says, “I took her because she was sad and repenting.” Mahi asks, “Where did Rahi take you?” He responds, “She was emotional, and I just tried to comfort her.” Mahi insists, “Don’t believe her innocent act. She intentionally delayed the food to ruin Anudi’s reputation.” Prem says, “I know how Rahi is, but you don’t need to tell anyone.” Mahi responds, “I don’t trust her.” Prem says, “But I do.”
Rahi sits outside Anupama’s room, singing the song Ungli Pakad Ke… Prem, Mahi, and others come hearing the song. Prem thinks, “If this door opens, the distance between mother and daughter will be over.” Anupama hears the song and tears up. Rahi sings, “Mummy…” She calls her Mummy again. Anupama says, “Bebli,” and rushes to open the door. She opens the door and sees Rahi. Rahi faints and collapses at her feet. Prem calls for help. Anupama holds her head on her lap and asks Prem to bring water. Everyone looks on, shocked.
