Anupama 6th January 2025 Written Update
The episode begins with Anupama greeting Prarthana and asking how she is. Prarthana replies that she is fine. Anupama says she noticed her and thought of meeting her. She mentions that Prarthana is there for a client presentation. Anupama then asks if she came alone. Prarthana says she wanted to have coffee but had no one to accompany her, so she came by herself. Anupama suggests there’s no need to wait for anyone and shares how she used to visit tea stalls alone and even watched films solo. Prarthana expresses it was nice meeting Anupama but mentions she has to leave. Anupama offers her some homemade jaggery toffee, saying it’s made by Prem, her future son-in-law. Prarthana asks if that means he’s… Anupama confirms he is going to marry her daughter, Mahi. Prarthana congratulates Anupama and her children before leaving. Anupama takes the bill and tries calling Prarthana, but she has already gone. As Anupama looks at Prarthana’s name, she notices it’s Prarthana Kothari.
Rahi asks Mahi if she is still upset with her. Mahi replies that she’s not upset with Prem. Rahi apologizes and says she will show her some designs. Mahi mentions wanting Prem’s name on her hand. Anupama asks Ansh if she spoke to the florist. Ansh confirms, and the playlist is also set. Pari says Mahi’s dress has been altered. Anupama mentions the decoration. Rahi says she will take care of it. Ansh asks her to manage her daughter and jokes about her excitement. Mahi comments about how Anupama would point out things they haven’t done. She then hugs Anupama and inquires about Kavya. Anupama says she’s trying to connect with her. She asks Toshu to bring a dhoti kurta for Pandit Ji. Toshu leaves. Anupama says Toshu forgets everything. Baa teases her, saying she’s worrying as if Mahi is her real daughter. Anupama assures her that Mahi is her real daughter. Rahi says Mahi has taken her place in Anupama’s life and has more right than she does. Anupama reassures that parents love all their children equally.
Pakhi asks Rahi to stick the glitter on the engagement board. Rahi says she will do it. Prem arrives and sees her working on it. He tells her she’s giving away her side of the moon to someone else, but it’s not greatness, just foolishness. Rahi responds that she’s not great and doesn’t love. He tells her to continue and walks away. He approaches Anupama and offers his help. She asks him to rest, but he insists that there’s much to do in Anu Ki Rasoi. Anupama insists he doesn’t need to have mehendi on his hand. He says if he wants, he can call his friends. Anupama suggests she and Rahi will go buy the rings.
Deepa informs Anupama that a girl has arrived. Prarthana enters and says she couldn’t talk to Anupama at the café. She shares that she came because she heard Anu Ki Rasoi belongs to her and that tomorrow is the engagement. She congratulates Prem. Anupama invites Prarthana to the engagement. She then asks Prem to make tea while she prepares something else. Just then, someone calls Anupama, saying Baa needs her. Anupama goes. Prem asks Prarthana why she’s there. Prarthana asks why he’s getting engaged and urges him to come with her. He refuses. Rahi enters, and Prarthana asks if Prem is getting engaged to her. Prem replies that he will deliver her order and leaves. Rahi asks who she is. Prem explains that Prarthana is someone Anupama helped earlier. Anupama confirms Prarthana Kothari’s identity. Prem wonders how Anupama knows her name.
Rahi applies mehendi to Mahi’s hand and says the color will turn dark. Mahi looks at the design and mentions that Prem’s name is on her hand too. Prem enters and slips on Mahi’s chair, causing Mahi’s mehendi to get on Rahi’s hand. He apologizes. Mahi goes to wash her hands. Prem tells Rahi that she can’t wipe his name from her heart. He urges her to stop the wrong from happening while there’s still time.
Pari tells Prem to talk to Rahi and do something. Prem replies that Rahi will refuse. She insists that Mahi is making a mistake, and a relationship can’t be forced. Pari advises him to fight for his love. Prem confesses that he can’t, as Rahi has chosen Mahi’s happiness over her own. Pari asks, “What about your happiness?”
Rahi washes her hands, but the mehendi gets darker. Mahi tells Anupama that Prem’s name is now wiped from her hand. Anupama advises her to focus on happiness and not the problems. Mahi says this is a big day for her, and she wants to be happy. Anupama tells her that Prem has no one else, so she needs to support him and his family. Mahi says she will be happy with him and will stay with him forever. She shows Anupama the ring and says it’s beautiful.
Prem tells Rahi that she can’t erase his name from her heart. Rahi tells him to focus on the engagement. Prem says everything will change after tomorrow. Rahi replies that it will end—whatever it was. He asks, “What if it doesn’t end?” She responds, “Get engaged with a good heart.” He says that once she agrees, he’ll talk to Mahi, and she’ll agree. Rahi says she will congratulate Mahi and Prem after the engagement. Prem becomes emotional. Later, Prem gets a call from his father and informs him that he is getting engaged. He asks his father to stay away. Anupama thinks she doesn’t doubt Prem but decides to find out more about Prarthana. She searches for Prarthana Kothari on social media, remembering Ansh’s comment about finding anyone there. After browsing through multiple profiles, she finally finds Prarthana’s picture and clicks it. The photo takes time to load. Ishu enters and asks for Baa’s oil. Anupama agrees and leaves. Ishu suggests she alter her dress. The photo finishes loading, but Anupama doesn’t notice because the laptop shuts off.
Prem surprises Rahi in the morning and places the ring on her finger. She hugs him. But then, Rahi wakes up from this dream, worried. She wonders if she’s seeing a dream of him marrying Mahi and tells herself to control her emotions before everything spirals out of control.
Janki Behen visits Prem, bringing a puja ki supari and advises him to keep it with him. She tells him it will calm his mind and asks him to have tea and relax. She suggests that if his heart is conflicted, the problem will remain unresolved. He leaves. Janki Behen prays that everything turns out right. Anupama arrives and thanks her for her prayers. She invites her to the engagement, but Janki Behen suggests she focus on the children and says she will do the work before the event.
