Anupama 5th November 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Anupama asking Toshu to deliver the order and inquiring if he has the address. Toshu confirms he does. Anupama hands him a bag for the cowshed, a sweets bag for the orphanage, and another bag for feeding birds he might see on the way. Toshu remarks that one order and charity for three places means their debit and credit won’t balance in the books. Janki chimes in that sin and good deeds will balance out. Toshu tells her not to encourage Anupama in this. Janki counters, asking her not to discourage her. Anupama intervenes, telling them not to argue, and asks Toshu to get on with his work. Toshu leaves, and Anupama sees Baa, offering her an envelope filled with money for the hard work she put into making laddoos. She mentions that the client liked them, leading to more orders. Anupama explains that many women work tirelessly for their families without recognition or salary, sharing how she used to feel invisible. She insists Baa deserves it, and Janki and other workers agree that they receive both money and appreciation here. Baa becomes emotional and leaves. Anupama reflects on how special it feels to receive one’s first salary.
Meanwhile, Ishani feels relieved that the guy went to another city to celebrate Diwali without worries. She receives a message that excites her and shares the news with Pari, Ansh, and Mahi about a party at Veda farmhouse, where a popular social media personality will be attending. Ansh expresses his indifference to such parties, but Ishani insists they should meet him, calling him hot. Ansh teasingly suggests Ishani should change her name to “anchient” instead of Ansh. After some back and forth, Ansh ultimately decides he will go if the others do. Mahi encourages Aadhya to join them, but Prem insists on leaving her behind, labeling her boring. Aadhya asserts she will go to ensure the others are safe with Prem. They collectively decide to attend the party after the puja.
Anupama continues her charitable acts by giving envelopes to the neighborhood sweeper. Janki asks if the envelopes are expensive, and Anupama assures her they are not, mentioning that Pari and Mahi designed them. Janki acknowledges their talent. Anupama then wishes the local security guard a happy Diwali as she gives him an envelope. Janki comments that not many people give money in envelopes. Anupama explains that giving money this way conveys a different feeling.
She soon notices the kids dressed in Indian attire and praises them for getting ready themselves. Ansh explains they designed their outfits and that they plan to go to a sadsang at Neeraj’s invitation after the puja. Anupama coughs, drawing the attention of Pakhi, Kinjal, and Toshu, who start to question the kids’ plans. However, Ansh and his friends defend themselves. Prem reveals he will also attend since Neeraj is a mutual friend. Mahi mentions bringing Aadhya along, but Baa disapproves and tells them to refuse Neeraj’s invitation. Anupama sides with Baa, questioning whether they would stop the kids from celebrating their birthdays. She stresses the importance of family during festivals and suggests that if they perform the puja and eat together, they can go out afterward. Baa ultimately agrees.
Ansh and the others express excitement about the puja. Anupama notes how thrilled they are. She conducts the aarti and sings a bhajan. Prem looks at Aadhya, while Mahi glances at Prem. After the aarti concludes, Anupama and the others exclaim “Jai Shriram!” Anupama explains that Diwali is not only a celebration of Shri Ram’s return to Ayodhya but also a festival of hope, symbolizing the lighting of diyas to dispel darkness.
Aadhya wishes Kanha Ji a happy Diwali, placing a pearl necklace on the plate. Anupama spots the necklace, which gets tangled in her saree. Mahi reveals that it was made by Rahi, prompting Anupama to feel joyful. She expresses gratitude to Kanha Ji, thanking him for her daughter’s gift and stating she will keep it close as a reminder of her daughter’s love.
Ansh, Prem, and the others inform Anupama they are leaving for the sadsang. Baa insists on accompanying them, questioning what they will do there. Anupama explains that they need to distribute sweets to neighbors. Baa reluctantly agrees to let them go. Anupama encourages the kids to stick together and keep their phones handy, urging them not to do anything that would break the elders’ trust. Prem promises to take care of everyone and assures them that their trust will not be broken. They depart as Prem brings the jeep around. Ishu climbs in and asks about the dress bag. Pari retrieves it, and Mahi admits feeling guilty about attending the party, claiming it will be a one-time event. Ansh questions whose jeep it is, and Prem claims it’s a friend’s, boasting that he has many cars. Aadhya skeptically asks Ansh to check if it’s stolen. Prem playfully states he’s Kanha Ji’s avatar, while Aadhya asks about the prasad. Prem shows them a box of prasad he brought. They agree to stop somewhere to change their outfits before heading to the party, and Prem drives the jeep.
Baa approaches Anupama, expressing her distrust of Prem and voicing concerns about sending the girls with him. She insists Anupama should call them and reiterates that she’s letting four girls go with a stranger. Anupama reassures her, highlighting Prem’s good nature and responsibility. Baa challenges Anupama to see if her trust in him is justified. Anupama prays for their safety. They stop the car at a mall to change their clothes, and after they change, they strike poses and get back into the jeep.
