Anupama 4th November 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Anupama apologizing and leaving. Aadhya reflects on Anupama’s words and discards the dress. She hears the anchor mention that his wife asked for gold, so he brought a pillow instead, jokingly wishing everyone a happy Dhanteras. Janki Behen and the others start dancing to kick off the Dhanteras celebration. Anupama arrives with the Shahs, and Janki comments that she smells like spices. Pari playfully says she mentioned the word “masala.” Anupama looks for Aadhya, while Toshu asks why she returned after eloping with money. Kinjal adds it would have been better if she hadn’t come back. Pakhi remarks they would have had a solid reason to kick her out. Baa says she would have finally had the opportunity to taunt Anupama, which she has saved for years. Toshu comments that once Rahi makes a mistake, Baa will get her chance. Mahi checks herself out in the camera. Pari teases her, asking if she likes someone since she’s conscious about her looks. Mahi replies no, she just wants to see if her makeup is too much. Spotting Prem, she smiles as the song plays. Prem approaches Anupama and greets her before turning to Mahi and Pari, complimenting them as pretty girls and saying the mirror wants to see them. Pari asks if he really thinks so, and he confirms. Mahi then says she hadn’t noticed and looks at him. Prem tries to find Aadhya.
Meanwhile, Aadhya remains in her room. The anchor asks who will dance next after Janki Behen. Janki teases Baa about not leaving, and Baa retorts back. Prem says that if he were from this neighborhood, he would dance. Anupama declares that she will dance. Baa is surprised and questions her decision. Anupama insists she will dance because she has her daughter back after so long. Baa wonders how long Anupama will celebrate. Anupama responds that if they can cry for the same pain over the years, they can surely celebrate happiness for just as long. She climbs onto the stage, expressing that life offers a new day each time—a blank canvas—and it’s up to them to decide whether to create smiles or ruin it. She encourages everyone to celebrate life, noting that while everyone can celebrate happiness, it’s the ones who can find joy in sadness who truly learn to live. Aadhya listens, and Anupama cheers for life before starting to dance. The song “Mere Dholna Sun” plays. Spotting Aadhya joining her on the dance floor, Anupama thinks it’s a dream. Prem enjoys the dance until he receives a call from Khalnayak and steps away. Aadhya walks away feeling upset as Anupama apologizes. Ansh praises Anupama’s performance, and Mahi agrees, calling it amazing. Janki Behen also commends her. Aadhya, feeling the eyes of everyone on her, walks away, feeling out of place. Prem stands in front of her, and Aadhya asks if he is staring. He replies he is just observing, saying that Anu Maa has made everything shine, including her daughter. Aadhya mentions she borrowed Mahi’s lehenga to fit in better, calling Prem a “languor” even now. He remarks that some people find grapes to be bitter. Aadhya notices Ishani looking tense and approaches her, but Ishani ignores her.
Anupama shares with Prem that she danced thinking of him and thanks him for the letter he sent her, asking him to return soon. Prem goes on stage to recite poetry and dances, moving close to Anupama. He then dances with Ishu and Pari, followed by Ansh joining in with his sisters. Prem continues to dance. Mahi imagines dancing with Prem, who then dances with Aadhya, announcing it’s time for garba. Although Aadhya starts far from them, she joins in and participates in the garba dance. Anupama expresses gratitude to Kanha Ji, wishing for her family and Aadhya to accept each other.
The next morning, Anupama sweeps the floor. Mahi arrives and greets her, offering her a toffee. Anupama responds warmly and asks her to wash the diyas, as they will light many that day. Pari enters and wishes her good morning, to which Anupama suggests coloring the lawn and making rangoli. Pari enthusiastically agrees. Ansh arrives on his bike, explaining he brought flowers since they are cheaper in the morning before prices rise. Anupama reminds him to remove his shoes before entering and resolves to make this Diwali a happy one. Aadhya wakes up from a dream, reflecting on how nice it was that pops visited her in the dream, but wonders why Anupama was also present in her happy dream. Baa instructs everyone to hang the toran, and Aadhya hears her. She sends a voice message to Vyas, wishing him, Bubbly, and the kids a happy Diwali, cautioning them to be careful while lighting diyas.
Janki Behen suggests that if they receive this many orders year-round, they should open their own kitchen. Anupama agrees, saying that together, they can achieve their dreams. Baa chimes in, questioning how much Anupama will praise her, noting she only gets paid for her work. Janki Behen counters that they receive respect from Anupama, considering it the most significant reward, and states that they value the biggest things when they are absent. Mahi enters, dressed up and ready. Baa inquires why she is dressed so early since the Diwali celebration is later in the day, asking what she plans to wear in the evening. Mahi replies she will wear a saree. Anupama suggests she try Kinjal or Pakhi’s saree. Baa questions Anupama about who will cook at home if the workers handle the orders. Aadhya suddenly joins in, wishing everyone a happy Diwali as she sits on the swing. Janki Behen warns her to be careful on the old swing. Aadhya playfully asks which building is old, her or the house. Baa quips that she has been young at heart for 16 years. Aadhya retorts with a teasing “16 or 116?” and then states she’s going to have tea, asking if anyone wants some. Baa declines, while Anupama calls Aadhya over to suggest she wear a saree, but Aadhya declines the offer. Anupama wishes her a happy Diwali as Aadhya walks away.
