Anupama 4th January 2025 Written Update

The episode begins with Rahi giving a bangle to Mahi, saying, “Mummy got this for you.” Mahi takes it and wears it. Rahi tells Mahi that she will not tell anything to Prem and will remember that he is her future jija ji. Mahi agrees. She shows the bangle to Prem. Later, Anupama places a warm cloth on Rahi and asks why she wore it forcibly. Rahi explains that the bangle was meant for Mahi since it fit her perfectly. Anupama asks if she’s feeling any pain. Rahi says she has a lot of pain and can’t bear it. Anupama asks her what is bothering her so much and encourages her to speak. Rahi thinks that if she opens up, it will cause a storm inside her and destroy everything. She hugs Anupama, saying there is nothing wrong, but she is scared that if she does something wrong, Anupama might get angry at her. Anupama reassures her that she can never do wrong. She tells Rahi that everyone loves her deeply. Rahi confesses that Prem is not hers. Anupama tries to lighten the mood, suggesting they should have some fun. Rahi says she has to take Mahi’s place and be a good daughter too, feeling overwhelmed by the pressure. Anupama comforts her, saying she will also get married. Rahi refuses to marry. Anupama jokingly asks her to take her as her dowry, and they both laugh. Anupama then checks the cloth and tells Rahi that it has warmed up. Rahi reassures her not to worry, as everything will get better slowly.

Later, Rahi comes outside and sees Prem asleep on the stairs. She covers him with a blanket and burns some wooden logs to keep warm. A song plays as Prem wakes up, asking if they’re doing the right thing by lying to everyone and hiding their feelings. Rahi reminds him that he knows the situation well and that he decided to support Mahi, so why talk like this now. Prem says the heart doesn’t always listen to the mind. They share a moment of silence, and Rahi recalls telling him the same thing. The song continues. Ansh notices them sitting together and gets angry. Rahi quickly stands up and walks away. Ansh confronts Prem, grabbing his collar and accusing him of two-timing with his sisters. Prem tries to calm him down, saying that it is a boy’s matter and they will settle it. Ansh, however, refuses to let it go, and asks everyone to listen, accusing Prem of flirting with Rahi while he’s supposed to be marrying Mahi. Everyone is shocked, and Pari shakes her head in disagreement. Prem tries to explain, but Ansh insists that they were seated together under the same shawl. Pari defends them, claiming it was a misunderstanding. Mahi says that Prem is not like that. Rahi tells Ansh that he should have asked her before accusing Prem. She explains that she was on her way to meet Kaveri when she found Prem shivering, so she covered him with her shawl. They were seated with some distance between them, and their conversation was about Mahi. Pakhi, Dolly, and Baa warn that people might misunderstand if a girl and a guy are seen like that. Rahi apologizes, reiterating that they were discussing Mahi. Baa advises Anupama to ask Rahi to maintain a distance from Prem, as he is her future jija ji. Mahi stands by Prem, but Baa calls her “Prem ki Diwani” and walks away. Prem looks disappointed.

Rahi feels regretful, thinking she shouldn’t have sat with him. She wonders why she couldn’t refuse him and fears that her one mistake might have ruined everything. She cries, realizing Prem belongs to Mahi, but she can’t help feeling troubled.

Anupama is speaking with a client, asking them to send the money. She sees Pandit ji and greets him. Anupama asks Baa if she has organized any puja. Baa says no, but she called Pandit ji for two reasons: to fix the mahurat for Prem and Mahi’s engagement and to check their hands. Anupama is surprised, asking if the marriage is already fixed. Baa explains that she doesn’t want to take any risks, as her daughters are at home. Pakhi comments that she should have gotten her kundali checked. Dolly says that even though her kundali was matched with Sanjay’s, she isn’t happy. Baa says that unless you compromise, you will never be truly happy, even if you marry multiple times. Ishani asks if one is unhappy, should they divorce or move on. Pari suggests that both partners should work together to resolve issues in their marriage. Kinjal and Toshu smile at her words. Baa urges Anupama to call Mahi and Prem, asking Pandit ji to tell the truth. Pandit ji checks Ishani’s hand and predicts she will marry into a wealthy family. When they ask Pari to show her hand, she refuses. Baa then asks Mahi and Prem to sit for their hand analysis. Ansh hopes that Pandit ji will expose Prem. Pari prays that the marriage won’t be approved. Mahi anxiously thinks about what will happen if their kundalis don’t match, or if Prem’s truth comes out. Rahi hopes that their kundalis will match, and Anupama wishes for the right thing to happen. They sit together. Pandit ji examines Prem’s hand and says he has Maharaj Yog in it. Baa asks if there’s anything else. Pandit ji apologizes but informs them that Mahi and Prem’s lines do not match, and that their relationship will have difficulties. He suggests they reconsider the marriage. Mahi refuses to believe him, saying that a relationship depends on the individuals involved. She mentions how Pandit ji had once predicted Toshu’s success, but that didn’t happen. Kinjal agrees, stating that predictions aren’t always accurate. Mahi asserts that their love will work. Baa warns that Mahi will ruin her life and Prem’s if they go ahead with the marriage. Mahi, however, insists on marrying Prem, or else she will never marry anyone. Anupama asks Pandit ji to find an auspicious mahurat for the engagement, and he suggests one after two days. Baa reluctantly accepts, saying Anupama can do whatever she wants. Anupama reassures Mahi, saying good things will happen. Pandit ji leaves, and Mahi excitedly tells Rahi that they have to go shopping and get mehendi applied to her hands with Prem’s name. Rahi smiles.

Pandit ji apologizes to Anupama, who apologizes for Mahi’s behavior. Pandit ji says he remembers Rahi’s kundali and suggests that if Prem marries Rahi, it will be the best thing that can happen. He further states that the match between Prem and Rahi is like the union of Ram ji and Sita. Anupama is shocked.
