Anupama 4th December 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Prem holding Rahi and wiping her tears. He says, “I was there, I saw and heard everything.” He reassures her that she didn’t slap Baa intentionally, and he trusts her. He asks her to come along. Janki behen tells Toshu that some food is kept in the fridge, but a few items should stay outside to preserve their taste. Toshu says he has handled everything and that Rahi will book the tempo since it’s her responsibility. He says he will lock the kitchen and leave. Janki behen and the others head out.
Kinjal says Baa isn’t picking up her call. Toshu wonders where she might be. Kinjal worries that no elderly person can bear such insult, and she hopes Baa is okay. Toshu suggests Baa must have gone to a satsang, temple, or a friend’s house. Kinjal insists that they need to bring Baa home before Mummy returns or else she will reveal everything. Pakhi asks what they will tell Mummy if she calls. Mahi answers that they’ll tell the truth. Kinjal explains that they all know Rahi didn’t slap Baa on purpose. They acted impulsively at that moment, but later realized it was an accident. Mahi retorts that Kinjal is siding with Rahi. Kinjal defends her position, stating that just because Mahi has issues with Rahi doesn’t mean everyone should turn against her without reason. She adds that as soon as Mummy leaves, Mahi and Pakhi turn the house into a battleground.
Jigna behen arrives and asks about Anupama. Toshu informs her that Mummy isn’t home. Jigna behen says that if Rahi had allowed her to take her husband to the hospital earlier, he would be fine now. She warns them that if anything happens to her husband, Rahi will have her curse, and they will all be cursed as well. Pakhi, Toshu, Kinjal, and Mahi are left shocked.
Prem asks Rahi to close her eyes and relax. She closes her eyes and rests her head on his shoulder as he drives the jeep. He thinks to himself that she shouldn’t worry as long as he’s with her. He wonders if he should confess his feelings for her. Mahi enters Ansh’s room and notices Radha. She asks if Radha hasn’t gone to sleep yet. Radha replies she’s waiting for Rahi, who went out with Prem. Mahi assumes Prem took her away forcibly and tells Radha to sleep.
Rahi wakes up and asks for some water. Prem gives it to her and says, “Let’s head home.” She agrees, and he starts the jeep, but it suddenly stops working. Rahi reassures him it’s no big deal. She says she isn’t scared of being stuck in the jungle. Prem acknowledges that there’s no network. He decides to lighten the mood and jokes about handling ghosts, pret, and pishach. Rahi, initially unbothered, suddenly gets scared. Prem is relieved, thinking at least she has some girly qualities. Mahi calls Prem, but he doesn’t pick up. She wonders where he is and why he’s with Rahi.
Prem offers Rahi his jacket. She refuses, but he covers her with it, saying he understands that people who always give find it hard to accept help. He encourages her to accept assistance sometimes. He says he’ll gather sticks to start a fire. As he does, Rahi comments that no one will be able to give them a lift, so there’s no point in asking. She asks him not to make tea, but Prem mentions that he has instant noodles and tea available in the jeep. He then lightheartedly suggests this might be like a Hindi film scene with a hero and heroine. Rahi jokes that goons will come and she’ll save him. Prem calls himself the hero, but she insists she’s the hero, and he’s the sidekick. He asks her to make the noodles, but she tells him to bring water. When Prem goes to the jeep, he finds that the water is already used up, so Rahi decides to fetch more water herself.
Prem heads back and sees blood on the ground. He is immediately alarmed and calls out for Rahi. Meanwhile, Rahi is chasing after the goon who has stolen her gold chain and locket. She demands he return it, saying it’s her father’s keepsake. Prem rushes towards her when he hears her call out.
Ansh asks Mahi about Rahi. Mahi, annoyed, replies that she isn’t Rahi’s assistant to know her whereabouts. Ishu asks if Rahi and Prem went on a date. Ansh doubts Rahi would date someone like Prem, and Pari concurs. Mahi says Rahi deserves punishment for causing so many problems. Ishu teases Mahi, hinting that she might like Prem. Mahi denies it, but Ishu notices her blushing. Mahi smiles and admits that Prem might have feelings for her, but they haven’t confessed yet. She decides to keep it a secret for now.
Prem finally finds Rahi, who has collapsed after chasing the goon. He shouts her name and rushes to her side, beating up the goon. The goon fights back and flees. Prem picks up the locket and, realizing its significance to Rahi, vows to protect it as something precious. He tries to revive her, tying his handkerchief around her bleeding hand. He urges her to open her eyes, fearing he won’t survive if anything happens to her.
