Anupama 3rd November 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Baa confronting Anupama, stating that she had warned her that not all daughters are like Lakshmi and accuses Rahi of stealing money on Dhanteras. Mahi asks why Rahi would do such a thing. Baa insists it was for the ashram, implying they needed money, and claims Rahi came here with the intent to steal, calling her a street thief. Ansh questions Ishu about why she didn’t stop Rahi or call for help. Pari adds that instead of intervening, Ishu recorded a video. Ishu explains that if she had called anyone, Rahi would have denied it. She mentions having proof, but Anu Maa refuses to believe her, stating that without proof, no one would trust her. Pakhi interjects, saying that her mother would have scolded Ishu regardless. Dolly comments that their truth is a lie in Anupama’s eyes, while Kinjal points out that Ishu’s dear daughter’s lies are accepted as truth. Toshu supports Ishu’s decision to record the video, asserting that at least they will have evidence for the police. Kinjal argues that they shouldn’t claim it was their money for Rahi to take. Baa continues to insist that Rahi is a thief. Just then, Aadhya arrives and admits that she was the one who stole the money.
Prem enters as well, and Baa remarks that Aadhya’s presence means both of them are involved in the theft. Toshu jokes about teamwork, while Pakhi questions if both girls are guilty. Baa grabs Aadhya’s bag, demanding to see the money, and discovers a knife. Baa accuses her of carrying it, to which Aadhya responds that it is fake, stating that girls often keep such things for safety. She explains that she stole because Pinto fell off the roof, and if something happens to him, she couldn’t bear it. Pakhi suggests that Aadhya should earn money instead of relying on them, asserting that they are not responsible for those street children. Rahi yells back, defending her kids and insisting they are not street children. Anupama inquires about Aadhya’s whereabouts, to which Aadhya replies she asked for money but was turned down. She mentions seeing Leela behen’s locker open and took the money, planning to catch the bus to Dwarka when Prem intervened. A flashback reveals Prem stopping Aadhya, reminding her she can’t run away and that she must face the consequences.
Aadhya confesses that she sought money from Anupama, but was refused, adding that she would have managed in Dwarka had she been given the money. She acknowledges her wrongdoing and says that if Ishani hadn’t filmed the incident, she would have returned the money. Aadhya hands the money back to Baa. Anupama states that stealing is wrong, just as wrong as taking someone else’s money. Pakhi comments that Anupama is equating Baa and Aadhya as if they were in the same witness box. Anupama clarifies that Pakhi always misinterprets her words and reminds her that money belongs to whoever earns it. Pakhi argues that Anupama’s earnings don’t give her the right to scold them. Ishu counters, claiming she does all the hard work while Pakhi is merely her manager. Pakhi looks taken aback. Ishani warns her not to glare like that. Kinjal tells Pakhi it’s karma at play. Pakhi snaps at Kinjal not to interfere, insisting she has no right to act like Anupama. Kinjal retorts that she still takes care of her daughter despite her having a father.
Toshu suggests that if Kinjal is going to bring up the past, then he could make her embarrassed. Kinjal argues back, leading to a heated exchange. Anupama and Baa cover their ears in frustration. Prem observes that money issues can create rifts in any family, rich or poor. Ansh asks if this is the case in Prem’s house too, to which Prem replies that he has no family. Anupama then exclaims “Happy Dhanteras!” and clarifies that the money in question belongs to Anu ki rasoi. She emphasizes that they need to buy things for the festival and instructs Toshu to let her know when he gets the order money, telling him not to share it with anyone. She also tells Baa to inform her if she needs money. Baa accuses Anupama of showing off her earnings, to which Anupama responds that it’s not about attitude but pride, adding that all women should work even if their husbands earn well, noting that Dolly behen understands this better than anyone. Aadhya apologizes for disrupting their festival.
