Anupama 3rd January 2025 Written Update

The episode starts with Pakhi asking Mahi to understand and says if Rahi traps Prem, then Mummy will get him married to Rahi, and then what will you do. Mahi imagines Prem and Rahi’s marriage rituals happening, with Prem apologizing to her, saying sorry Mahi, I love Rahi. Rahi says that Prem is just hers and cannot be Mahi’s. The flashback ends. Mahi walks away. Pakhi comments that she is adding drama to this love story. Mahi asks Anupama to arrange her engagement. Anupama says she had just agreed to her stubbornness, and now she’s asking for an engagement. Baa suggests getting her engaged, saying she is eager to marry him, and adds that when they go outside, people will gossip, so it’s better to do the engagement now. She says if he elopes, Mahi might even try to take her life again. She admits she is against this alliance, but Mahi will listen only to her. Mahi shares her fear that Prem might change his mind, and asks not to spend money on arrangements, suggesting it be a small engagement with just the family. Prem overhears. Mahi walks away. Anupama approaches Prem and tells him that Mahi wants to get engaged to him, but they will take it forward when he’s ready. Prem looks at Rahi and says he’s ready for the engagement. Anupama is happy.

Later, Anupama visits the cloud kitchen and asks Rahi what happened suddenly. She says they used to stay together and asks what changed. Rahi asks who. Anupama points out the three written on the boxes. Rahi explains she’s stressed because Mahi will leave after marriage, and she wants to be a good father to Mahi, as she’s not perfect like her. Anupama reassures her that she’s perfect too. Rahi says they should plan their wedding. Anupama agrees, and they both will handle it together. She takes out a sweet box and shares it with Rahi, saying it’s for Prem and Mahi’s happiness. Rahi tells herself to be happy for Mahi and not to cry. She eats the sweets. Anupama then shares the sweets with the ladies, saying Mahi and Prem’s marriage is fixed, and he will be her son-in-law. Janki behen looks at Rahi. Jigna suggests doing garba, and the ladies join in. Janki behen keeps glancing at Rahi. Anupama mentions that although Rahi is older than Mahi, Mahi is marrying first. Jigna remarks that we never know whom God pairs with whom. Anupama agrees and mentions that they plan to do the engagement at home. Rahi offers to handle all the arrangements. Jigna is curious how this happened. Anupama explains that Mahi liked Prem, they talked to him, and he agreed. The ladies remark that it’s a love-cum-arranged marriage. Anupama confirms. Janki behen quietly approaches Rahi and says that Leela behen may not like her, but always gives her amla shikakai powder, revealing that sometimes we do things against our heart. She mentions she has noticed the bond between Prem and Rahi and their love. Rahi gestures for her to stay quiet and not tell Anupama.

Prem and Mahi sit together in a restaurant, and a singer performs. Kaun tujhe yun pyaar karega… Mahi holds his hand and says he is her first love. She asks about his first love, recalling that Ansh fell in love at five and wanted to marry his teacher. Prem shares that his first love left him. Mahi asks who she was and why she left. Prem says the past is the past. Mahi says she is not his first love but wants to be his last. She leads him to dance. He dances with her, though hesitantly. Mahi hugs him. Prem imagines Rahi sitting there and smiling, telling him, “I love you.” Mahi asks what he said. Prem says he has to say this someday. Mahi hugs him again, saying that day will surely come.

Janki behen visits Rahi, noting that just the engagement is fixed, but Rahi’s tears haven’t stopped. She wonders what will happen after the marriage. Rahi says if she doesn’t do this, she’ll feel guilty her entire life. She says the heart shouldn’t be trusted because it has no mind. Janki behen asks about Prem. Rahi says it’s better he doesn’t marry a girl like her, who fights and argues with him, and that he will marry someone who makes his life heavenly. She believes Prem may not like this decision, but he will realize later that it was the right one. She asks Janki behen not to share this with anyone and says she needs to focus on the arrangements. Janki behen says her tears will never stop. Rahi eats chillies. Prem arrives and joins her, eating chillies, sharing that Mahi took him on a date. He shows their dance video to Janki behen and Rahi. Janki behen says it’s good. Rahi says they both are made for each other. Prem asks Rahi for ideas to plan a surprise date for Mahi. They all eat chillies together, and Janki behen gets tense.

Kinjal suggests to Toshu that they should do something nice for Mahi. Toshu refuses, saying he doesn’t want to spend money on Mahi or argue with her. He mentions Mahi is Anupama’s responsibility and he will tell her that Mahi can’t stay there after the marriage. Kinjal counters that Prem has self-respect and will not stay there after marriage. She adds that doing good for someone else’s daughter brings good things for their own. Toshu says he’ll find a prince charming for Pari. Kinjal reveals she has been saving money for Pari for a long time. Toshu says she never told him. Kinjal stays silent. Toshu reflects on her words.

Pakhi advises Ishu not to marry a poor guy, saying Mahi is foolish for loving someone poor. She says she knows how she raised Ishu and wonders what her father would think now, if he remembers he has a daughter. Ishu questions why she’s saying this. Pakhi responds that she shouldn’t fall in love with or marry a poor guy. She says it’s better to cry in a car than in public transport. She insists that money matters, not love.

Anupama presents gold bangles, saying she doesn’t have jewelry and bought them on installment, one for Mahi and the other for Rahi. Rahi refuses, asking her to give them to Mahi. Anupama becomes emotional, recalling how her husband gave her jewelry, but she left it when she left home. She shares how, when she saw Rahi as a bride, she thought she must marry her soon. She adds that her heart was fixated on one thing: whoever Rahi marries, she must be his first love. Rahi responds that they should focus on Mahi, not on her.
