Anupama

Anupama 30th October 2024 Written Update

The episode begins with Anupama discovering a parcel from Anuj, which stirs up a whirlwind of emotions within her. She feels a deep sense of longing and tears up as she reflects on their shared moments. Prem watches her from a distance, remarking that there must be something in the parcel that will bring her joy. As a song plays, Anupama opens the envelope and retrieves a box. Embracing the box, she finds a Radha Krishna pendant and chain, triggering memories of Anuj. Prem quietly leaves, seeing her happiness.

Aadhya expresses her feelings about being busy in Dwarka but now feeling aimless. Mahi, Pari, and Ansh present her with vegetables, DIY jewelry, and a tablet. Mahi suggests she can cook with her, make jewelry with Pari, or play games with Ansh. They urge her to decide quickly. Ishani receives a call and asks the caller to stop. Anupama informs her that her parcel has arrived, saying that when she removed the gift from her neck, she didn’t want to feel empty, and that’s why Anuj sent it through their daughter. She discovers a letter within the parcel.

Aadhya creates a bracelet and beams with pride. Ansh compliments her talent. Aadhya shares that she’s been making handmade jewelry to earn money and encourages them not to be sad. Ansh proposes they play a game. Meanwhile, Pakhi, Kinjal, and Baa feel upset, claiming Aadhya is influencing their children negatively. Pakhi asserts that Ishani is smart enough to see through it. Baa makes a cutting remark at this point. Aadhya challenges Baa to speak up louder. A heated argument ensues, with Baa accusing Aadhya of shamefulness for making Anupama spend 10 lakhs on her. Aadhya fires back, saying Baa should feel more ashamed, as Anupama is caring for her and her daughter, who are in a difficult situation. Kinjal admonishes Aadhya for her boldness. Ishani urges her to demonstrate some sophistication, given her five years in the US. Aadhya responds that while she lived in the US, she has been in Dwarka all along and takes pride in speaking Gujarati.

Anupama sheds tears of joy as she puts on her glasses to read the letter. It begins, “My lovely Anu,” noting that while he could have sent a text or email, he chose to write a letter instead. He mentions his work obligations but expresses his deep longing for her. Anuj states that he might reach her before this letter does and confesses he can’t live without Choti and her, emphasizing his love for them both equally. He asks Anupama to always stay with Choti. Anupama reacts, saying he shouldn’t say such things and playfully threatens not to talk to him. The letter continues, revealing Anuj’s concern for their daughter’s well-being and urging Anupama to never leave her, even if she says so. Anupama reassures him that she has brought Choti back and will ensure she stays with her always, affirming that everything he wishes for will come true.

Aadhya questions if this is enough for today or if she should continue. Pakhi snatches the bracelet from her, breaking it in anger. Ishani smirks at the situation. Aadhya retaliates by shattering a vase, prompting Pakhi to ask why she broke it, claiming it was her artwork. Aadhya explains that was precisely why she destroyed it. She throws another bracelet away, addressing Baa by saying she only follows what Baa preaches. Kinjal warns Pari and Ansh to keep their distance from Aadhya. Aadhya confronts them, suggesting they keep their children confined if they can’t handle their happiness. Baa demands Aadhya leave. Aadhya states she will only depart if Anupama tells her to and reassures Mahi, Pari, and Ansh that they need not worry about her. Baa insults Aadhya, stating that she embodies destruction. In defiance, Aadhya breaks more crockery, claiming that’s destruction.

Anuj’s letter continues, requesting Anupama to expand her culinary efforts to other cities and to pursue her dance career. He expresses his eternal love for her, stating that their love story inspires others. Anuj reassures her that whether they live or not, their love will remain timeless, transcending births. He concludes by saying that if they must part in this life, he will find her in the next, signing off as “yours, Kapadia ji.” Anupama beams with happiness, declaring her longing for him and urging him to return quickly. She professes her love for Anuj.

Mahi, Pari, and Ansh surround Aadhya, showering her with flower petals. Mahi advises her not to stress. Ansh inquires if she misses the children from her ashram.

Aadhya admits she misses them dearly. Pari acknowledges that although they live here now, their lives were once very different. She adds that they never expected to be united in this home. Ansh muses that sometimes we return to the places we’ve left behind. Aadhya refers to a trick from “bhool bhulaiyya,” saying if you keep your right hand on the wall, you’ll find your way out. She explains she learned this. Ansh asks if he can pose a question. Aadhya anticipates he’s going to ask why she left home and why she had no contact with anyone.

Anupama confides in Anuj, expressing her sorrow about their past separation and the timing of the letter arriving just as Aadhya returned. She feels as though Kanha ji was waiting for Aadhya to come back, allowing them to reunite. She vows to live for herself, their daughter, and Anuj, promising to do everything he wished for. She dons the chain pendant, calling out to Anuj. The song plays, and she declares, “I love you,” opening her arms wide.
