Anupama 2nd October 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Dimpy and Pakhi arguing with Anupama. Dolly remarks that they are romancing in their old age. Aadhya intervenes to stop Dimpy. Paritosh urges them to cease their playful antics. Anupama approaches him but refrains from slapping him. She points out that his jealousy stems from the lack of love in his life, while she and Anuj share a deep bond. Anuj agrees, and Anupama announces their upcoming marriage, asserting that Maan’s wedding will definitely take place. She tells Dolly that if there’s no age for hate, then love shouldn’t have age restrictions either. Anuj emphasizes that love is what makes life worthwhile. Anupama proudly declares their love, while Dolly expresses resentment, claiming that Anupama ruined her daughter’s marriage and wishes for her to suffer too. Aadhya defends Anupama, asking Dolly not to curse her. Leela questions Anupama’s earlier reluctance to marry, and Anupama admits her fears but asserts that love has conquered them. She now feels unafraid of anyone, even fate, and declares that the wedding will be held at Aasha Bhawan. Anuj welcomes those who come, stating that if others are jealous, the crowd will naturally be smaller. He then sings joyfully. Kinjal expresses her intention to attend the wedding, while Dolly accuses Anupama of neglecting the Shah family for Aasha Bhawan. Aadhya brings Anuj and Anupama to their room and applies a black dot on them, signifying their unity. Anupama insists they will be happy and productive together, and Anuj agrees, noting they have work to do. Aadhya jokes about finding her a boyfriend, but Anuj claims he’ll find someone like him for her. Anupama dismisses that idea, saying there’s no one like Anuj. They share a hug, and Aadhya suggests taking a selfie, which Anuj clicks. Aadhya insists this photo should be their phone wallpaper. Anupama decides to call Hasmukh with the good news, and Anuj encourages her to do so. Aadhya dances with Anuj, declaring that there should be no delays in the marriage. Anuj insists they need to check the auspicious time. They sing and dance together. Suddenly, Pakhi enters, declaring that the marriage won’t happen.
She accuses Anupama of prioritizing the Shah family and Aasha Bhawan while ignoring her own family. Anuj tells her to be quiet, and Pakhi continues, saying Aadhya’s dream of a perfect family is just that—a dream. Anuj reprimands her and asks her to leave. Aadhya hugs him, and he reassures her that this will not be allowed to happen, attributing it to their jealousy.
The next morning, Anuj and Aadhya begin creating the wedding invitations. Pakhi and Paritosh smile wickedly as they plot to ruin their plans. Paritosh pretends to accidentally spill water on the invitations. Anuj, frustrated, says that if he accidentally slapped them, he would apologize. Paritosh claims they didn’t see the invitation cards, but Anuj calls them out, pointing out that their joy is misplaced. The two laugh, revealing they were aware of Pakhi and Paritosh’s intentions all along, as their actual invitations were already prepared. Anuj warns them that next time, he won’t hold back. They invite the duo to the wedding before leaving. Bala tells Leela and the others to get ready, while Anupama expresses her concerns. Indira reassures her not to dwell on Pakhi and Paritosh’s negativity. Bala acknowledges their pessimism and encourages Anupama to focus on the positivity around her. Despite their support, Anupama confesses her fear, stating that happiness often brings anxiety. Nandita advises her not to overthink, especially since it’s the first day of Navratri. Sagar encourages her to think positively, asserting that good things will come. Aadhya instructs the kids not to jump around too much and plans a special dance performance with them. Ansh hugs her, eager to participate.
Sagar holds Meenu’s hand, causing her to smile. The girls begin to argue with Ansh, prompting Aadhya to suggest a group performance where Ansh can dance with all of them. Dolly, Dimple, and Pakhi watch from a distance, frustrated. Dolly tells Dimpy to keep Ansh in check, while Pakhi agrees that although Ishani listens, Ansh is unmanageable.
As everyone performs the aarti, Anuj and Anupama place the invitation card down. Aadhya prays to Matarani, but the card suddenly catches fire. Aadhya panics and tries to save it, yelling for help. Anupama and Anuj instruct her to stay back, with Aadhya insisting she cannot let anything happen to their invitation. Anuj tells her not to put her hand in the flames. Anupama reassures Aadhya that everything will be fine. Aadhya vows to protect their marriage from any problems. Indira claims everything is okay, but Leela warns Anupama about the fire being a bad omen and urges her to reconsider. Anuj firmly states that this negativity will not affect them. Anupama and Bala discuss the tax situation with Rajpal, who warns that they could lose Aasha Bhawan. Bala stands up to Rajpal and demands he leave.
After Rajpal departs, Bala encourages Anupama not to worry, but she insists they must resolve this matter quickly. Paritosh overhears their conversation, smirking at the prospect. Leela gazes at the Shah house, feeling nostalgic and missing Vanraj. She expresses her desire to regain their ancestral home, lamenting this being the first time they are away from it. Dolly asks how long they will remain in this place and suggests they take action. Anupama accidentally bumps into Anuj and apologizes. Anuj responds, saying there’s no need for apologies, only gratitude. He playfully flirts with her, stating that this is what love feels like. Anupama retorts that it’s not love, prompting Anuj to ask her what she means. She challenges him, suggesting that he is the expert in romance and should take the lead. Anuj replies that he’ll handle the tax situation and assures her they will manage everything. She thanks him.
