Anupama 29th December 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Ansh thanking his friend for booking the villa at a reduced price. He mentions that the food and everything else are perfect here. He asks the servant to leave the cordless phone as there is a network issue. The servant agrees. The caretaker tells the servant to bring the crockery. He looks at Prem and comments that he feels like an owner rather than a guest.
Toshu asks Kinjal if they can make a fresh start, leaving all the past issues behind. Kinjal recalls her trip to Japan for work, where she encountered frequent earthquakes and storms. She explains that despite the chaos, people rebuild their homes in a way that no one can tell a storm had passed. She adds that they never give up and start fresh, facing every challenge with a smile. She encourages Toshu to keep trying, and even if they fail, they will at least know they tried. If they succeed, life will be beautiful again, and they can live it happily. Toshu holds her hand and makes her swing on the swing, making her laugh, though she says she’ll get dizzy.
Prem comes to a tree and notices his painting on it. He digs the ground with his hands and retrieves a box. He takes out a peacock feather and thinks of giving it to Rahi, as she has the right to have it. He imagines dancing with her and believes that day will come soon. Mahi calls his name, and he quickly buries the box again, leaving the peacock feather where it was. He then goes to talk to Mahi. Rahi spots the feather, thinking it’s beautiful, and wonders whose it might be. She assumes it belongs to a previous guest and, considering it’s from Kanha ji, decides to keep it for herself. Toshu calls everyone to join at the poolside. Pari, Rahi, and Anupama join Toshu and Kinjal in a dance. Others also join in. The song “lala lala…oye rangeela tara…” plays.
Anupama notices Prem watching Rahi as she dances. Toshu and Kinjal continue dancing. Anupama heads inside to drink some water and answers the phone when it rings. She informs the caretaker that he’s not around, so she picked up the call. She says she will contact him now. She sees Prem and asks him to speak with the owner, then calls the caretaker. Prem hesitates but answers the call, dropping the receiver from his hand. He says he’ll get it repaired and assures Anupama that the call ended. Anupama tells him they need to talk before the party ends, and they return home.
Prem checks the food and asks the servant why coriander was missing from the dal. The servant explains it wasn’t available from the market. Prem instructs him to get it from Kareem Uncle’s bungalow, where there are fresh coriander and curry leaves. The servant leaves to fetch it. The caretaker, curious, asks how Prem knows about Kareem. He receives a call from the owner and speaks to him. Anupama approaches the caretaker and asks if they’ve had their meal. She suggests he eat and assures him she’ll finish cleaning the kitchen and that he should rest. He says she speaks just like Gayatri Madam, and compares her to her, as Gayatri used to care for everyone. He mentions that God brings good people, and that’s why she came so soon. Anupama asks what happened to Gayatri. The caretaker shares that it’s said she was mentally unstable and took her life. He shows her a photo of Gayatri’s children. Anupama asks for their names, and he replies, “Tinku and Tintin.”
Rahi admires the peacock feather brooch, believing it was made for her. Mahi approaches and asks her to give it to her, but Rahi refuses, saying it’s a blessing from Kanha ji. She walks away. Prem comes to Rahi and thanks her for not giving the brooch to Mahi, claiming it is his. He adds that Anu Maam has called him for a conversation, and if she asks him, he’ll tell her the truth. Rahi warns him not to speak, stating she doesn’t love him. Prem says it’s a lie, and he is tired of hearing it. Mahi then asks Anupama if she has spoken to Prem. Anupama replies that she knows when to speak to whom and asks Mahi to go and call Prem.
Rahi confronts Prem, questioning why he is so stubborn. Prem replies that this is love. Rahi insists Mahi loves him deeply. Prem counters, saying he loves only her. Rahi explains that Mahi can’t live without him, but Prem insists he can’t live without Rahi. Rahi tells him that love, marriage, and relationships are not in her destiny, and she believes he can’t be happy with her. She urges him to choose Mahi instead. Prem declares that he will decide whom to choose and insists that Mahi is just his good friend and nothing more, adding that he doesn’t love her. Mahi overhears this and is shocked. Rahi and Prem both notice Mahi listening. Prem then admits to Mahi that he loves Rahi, and Mahi runs to her room, locking the door. Prem says it’s good that Mahi now knows the truth. Rahi follows Mahi, pleading with her to open the door and talk. Mahi, in a state of shock, locks herself in. Anupama, worried about Mahi’s obsession with Prem, prays to Kanha ji to protect her and keep things from escalating.
