The episode starts with Anupama stating that she and Anuj had loved each other and fought for their love. She recalls Baa’s hurtful words about Shehzadi getting married, but not Dadi, and urging her to refuse Anuj. Flashback ends. Anupama continues, explaining that she was a divorcee, a mother of three, and both a Saas and Maa. She emphasizes that their fight was against society as well, and they managed to convince their families to respect their love. She tells Meenu that she has hurt her mother, the one who gave her life and raised her. Anupama asserts that Meenu has made a mistake by blaming others, stating that she supported Meenu’s love but not her misguided actions. She declares that Dolly behen will decide what happens next. Sagar and Meenu apologize to Dolly. Sagar admits they acted hastily and acknowledges Anudi’s point about not hurting the family. Meenu also asks for forgiveness. Sagar says they cannot stay if they are causing upset. Meenu agrees, expressing regret for hurting everyone. Dolly cries, questioning why they decided to marry in such a manner. She shares her dreams for their marriage and says she felt proud of them, but they have made her feel ashamed. Meenu offers her apologies, but Dolly insists she will not accept this relationship and tells Sagar that he will never find happiness after making a mother cry. She reminds Anupama that if she had not supported them, they would not have gotten married, and she curses her by saying she too will never find happiness with her daughter.

Sagar asks Dolly to direct her anger at him, not Anudi. He apologizes to Anupama, acknowledging they don’t deserve forgiveness, and states they will leave. Pakhi and Baa agree. Toshu says they will understand their mistake when they lose their roof over their heads. Dimpy says her packing was unnecessary. Anuj calls Anupama, signaling her. Anupama tells Sagar and Meenu to stop, saying she will bring the aarti plate. Sagar, Meenu, Bala, Indra, Kinjal, and Titu feel hopeful. Dolly follows Anupama, questioning what she is trying to prove, implying she is trying to be virtuous while she is the “dayan” in the scenario. Toshu chimes in with sarcastic praise for Anupama.

Anupama reaches the hall and performs the tilak and aarti for Sagar and Meenu. She encourages them to enter their new home together. Meenu kicks the kalash and steps inside with Sagar, and they touch Anupama’s feet. Anupama blesses them, and Meenu expresses gratitude to Anupama and others. Anupama advises them to listen carefully; many things change after marriage.

Responsibility increases, and they are now each other’s responsibility, not just Asha Bhavan’s. She urges them to complete their education and stand on their own feet while managing their marital life and being happy, reminding them to also convince the family. She wishes them all the best.

Later, Anupama confides in Anuj that she is struggling to understand her feelings and is overwhelmed with anger, wanting to either break something or run away. Anuj suggests they escape together, letting Kinjal take care of Aadhya. He jokingly says he will chop wood while she prepares food, claiming they will have to deal with animals in the jungle. He insists they should prepare to leave when they want. Aadhya calls for Anupama. Anupama says she will check on her. Anuj reminds her not to take on too many responsibilities, asserting that Sagar and Meenu must manage themselves now. Anupama agrees. Anuj talks to God, asking for Anupama to focus on him.

Aadhya thinks about all the drama from the day, distracting her from studying. She notices Ansh looking sad and calls out to him. Ansh shares that he misses Dadu and feels lonely, reminiscing about their games together. He adds that Ishu and Pari don’t play with him. Aadhya offers to play boys’ games with him. They begin tossing a ball when it accidentally hits Ansh in the face. Aadhya apologizes and tries to check his eye/face. Dimpy arrives and pushes Aadhya, scolding her harshly for her behavior and accusing her of trying to act tough like her parents. She insists they see themselves as superior since arriving. Ansh protests that it was an accident and asks Dimpy not to scold his aunt. Dimpy asserts that Aadhya is envious of her son because she isn’t going to school, labeling them as “beggars” without money. Aadhya stands up, shouting enough and questioning if Dimpy is a psycho. Dimpy tells her to shut up and stop showing attitude.

Aadhya insists her parents are the best while calling Dimpy the worst, pointing out that her son is upset with her. Anupama enters and asks Aadhya why she is talking to Bhabhi like that. Aadhya explains everything, mentioning Dimpy’s insults. Anupama asks them to apologize to each other. Aadhya refuses and walks away. Dimpy tells Anupama to see how her daughter behaves. Anupama counters that Dimpy is no better. Ansh chimes in, stating that Dimpy shouldn’t have scolded Aadhya, as she loves and plays with him. Dimpy considers keeping Ansh away from Aadhya.

Anupama and Anuj inform Babu ji that the marriage has taken place. Babu ji expresses that they should do something to lift everyone’s spirits. Anupama agrees, suggesting they lighten the mood with a celebration. They bring Meenu and Sagar to the hall. Anupama encourages post-marriage customs, stating that even though the kids made a mistake, they should show maturity. She proposes starting the rasam. Dolly remarks that she will throw everything away. Toshu jokes that Mummy will throw them out and asks her to wait for the right time. Dolly considers shocking Anupama with her response. Anupama instructs Meenu and Sagar to play the ring-finding game. Sagar wins, and Nandita remarks that Meenu’s fate will be in Sagar’s hands. Sagar disagrees. They suggest Anupama and Anuj play the game for fun. Anuj declines, saying they will do this ritual after their marriage if it happens. Anupama looks at him, hinting at their bond.
