Anupama 27th October 2024 Written Update
The episode starts with Prem contemplating having tea after witnessing the intense drama. He sits at the stall for tea and feels sympathy for Anupama. The tea seller hands him a cup, and he is taken aback to see the name “Khalnayak” flash on his phone screen. After paying for the tea, he notices Aadhya’s dress thread caught on his watch, remarking that Kanha tied the dori.
Ishani receives a call and steps away. Anupama acknowledges that her daughter is ill-mannered and has misbehaved, but she emphasizes that they have only recently reunited after many years. She insists that they will address her misbehavior later, but for now, they should celebrate her return. Kinjal challenges Anupama, saying she is justifying Aadhya’s actions. Anupama counters, stating that they should consider Aadhya’s background—having spent her childhood in an orphanage and then in another one. She highlights that, despite being Anuj Kapadia’s daughter, she hasn’t lived in luxury. Anupama explains that Aadhya’s attitude and arrogance are defense mechanisms to avoid further hurt. Pakhi questions why Anupama brought Aadhya into their home. Toshu asks why she didn’t allow her to remain in the orphanage. Anupama responds by asking if they would send Pari away to a hostel. She states that parents desire to keep their children close, promising to fulfill her responsibilities toward Aadhya, regardless of her misbehavior or lack of acknowledgment as a mother. Anupama asserts that she will provide her daughter with the love of both parents. Pakhi insists that such a daughter should be disowned. Anupama retorts that she could have disowned Pakhi and Toshu long ago.
Dolly interjects, saying that they are her own children, while Choti is adopted. Anupama warns her, asserting that Choti is her Kanha, whether she acknowledges her as Yashoda or not. She then turns to Baa, pointing out that even now, she yearns for Vanraj, who abandoned everything and yet still checks to see if he returns, unable to hear any criticism about him. Anupama reminds her that he hasn’t called even once, yet her heart still beats for him. She mentions how Dolly’s daughter shouts at her and how Dolly endures it, despite having been pushed and hurt by her. Anupama questions why she didn’t disown her own children. She then addresses Dolly, highlighting her longing for Meenu, who married and eloped, noting that Dolly still tries to reach out to her despite Meenu’s lack of communication. Anupama asks why she celebrated Sagar’s new home with sweets for a daughter who doesn’t even speak to her. She emphasizes that if the family believes in the betterment of their children, why should she not consider her own daughter?
Turning to Pakhi, Anupama states that Pakhi has forgotten herself while caring for Ishu, organizing her schedule. She points out that Adhik sought custody of Ishu, yet Pakhi didn’t comply. Anupama insists that if Pakhi truly cared for Ishu, she would let her go to Mumbai. She argues that if it’s acceptable for them to overlook one another’s faults, then why can’t she take the same approach with Aadhya? She states that if she were to list the wrongs done by her children, the list would be endless. She expresses confusion over why Kinjal isn’t communicating well with her. She asks who speaks kindly to her, apart from Babu ji, Ansh, Pari, Mahi, and Ishani. Anupama warns them that if anyone uses terms like disown or adopted, they will regret it. She explains that while children may disown their parents, parents never disown their children while they are alive. Anupama acknowledges that Aadhya misbehaved today but requests time to help her improve, asking if anyone can change overnight. She explains that while relationships can be broken in an instant, rebuilding them takes time. She asks for their patience, or they may leave her house. She firmly declares that her Choti will remain there with her, with all the rights of a daughter.
Mahi, Pari, and Ansh urge Aadhya to give herself and others time, expressing their love for her. They remind her that Anu maa cried for her every day. Aadhya becomes emotional. Anupama reflects that nothing can be resolved in a single day.
Aadhya lies down to sleep in the hall. Baa observes her through binoculars. Pakhi startles Baa, who admits she’s keeping an eye on Aadhya to ensure she doesn’t steal anything. Aadhya questions what is valuable in the house to steal. She mentions one item that could be taken: Leela behen’s jhula. Baa locks it away, telling Aadhya to go ahead and steal it if she wants. She leaves with Pakhi.
Aadhya feels nostalgic about the orphanage children and worries about how they are managing without her. Anupama rests on the floor, content that her daughter is finally with her after so many years. Mahi approaches and asks if Anupama couldn’t sleep. Anupama hugs her, and Mahi reminds her to be happy that Aadhya is back. Anupama reflects on bringing her daughter home from her previous life. Mahi notes that Aadhya’s stay there was due to her circumstances. Aadhya calls Bubbly, expressing that she misses the children and panics at the thought of how they are coping. Bubbly chides her, saying they pray for a family and a mother, while Aadhya seems eager to return. She encourages Aadhya to adjust and assures her she will have no responsibilities there. Aadhya panics and ends the call, remembering Bubbly’s words. Feeling overwhelmed, she notices her forehead is hot. Anupama notes that her other daughter might be trying to sleep outside. Aadhya opens the door and steps outside the house, accidentally stumbling as she puts on her slippers. She recalls Bubbly’s words and begins setting up the welcome floral decorations.
Anupama tells Mahi that she will go check on Aadhya. Mahi agrees, but Anupama decides to wait until morning, thinking Aadhya might be upset to see her. Meanwhile, Aadhya walks down the street when a group of goons approaches, asking if she is unwell and if they can give her a ride. They close in on her. Aadhya warns them off.
