Anupama 23rd September 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Anupama noticing Toshu and Pakhi arriving at Asha Bhavan. Everyone turns to look at them. Dolly comments that it’s a good thing they didn’t make the same mistake. Dimpy adds that if they had, they’d be in the same situation now. Toshu speaks up, saying, “Go ahead, laugh at us, make fun of us, taunt us, do whatever you want.” Pakhi adds, “We’re here now, and we’re staying.” Kinjal asks if they’ve finally come to their senses. Toshu admits that they’re mentally exhausted. Pakhi says they’re so tired they can barely stand, and everything feels numb. Babu ji then says that it’s up to Anupama to decide whether they can stay. Bala agrees, and Indra adds, “Anu’s decision will be ours.” Toshu pleads with them, saying they’re exhausted and have changed their ways. Pakhi begs to stay. Kinjal says, “Mummy will make the decision.” Toshu, desperate, asks Pari to tell Mummy that she wants her papa to stay. Pari responds, “I won’t say that. When you weren’t here, there were no fights, and everyone was happy.” Pakhi turns to Ishu, asking her to speak up for them, but Ishu says, “You always scold me, so Nani will decide your punishment.” Toshu then looks to Dimpy for support, but she says, “This isn’t my house.” Baa asks if they’ve realized their mistakes, to which Toshu and Pakhi both say yes. Baa tells them to come in, but Anupama intervenes.
Anupama says, “Baa asked you to come in, so I won’t disrespect her wishes. You can enter, but there are conditions.” She then lays out the rules: “First, you must fold your hands and apologize to everyone in Asha Bhavan. If they forgive you, you can stay. You must follow all the rules here, help everyone, and show respect. Lastly, you need to contribute your share of the household expenses. If you agree to these conditions, you can come in. If not, you’re free to leave.” Toshu and Pakhi reflect on their struggles. Anupama continues, “If you refuse, we don’t have time for this.” Reluctantly, Toshu and Pakhi apologize to everyone and promise to do their share of the work. Anupama, satisfied, tells them to leave.
Shocked, Toshu and Pakhi protest, saying they’ve already apologized. Anupama explains, “This was a test to see if you were truly sorry and if you’ve let go of your arrogance.” She closes the door in their faces, telling them to leave. Both Toshu and Pakhi are visibly upset. Dolly questions Anupama, asking if her heart has turned to stone. Anupama replies, “I once had a heart, but after being broken so many times, I turned it into stone.” Outside, Toshu and Pakhi beg for another chance, pleading with her to open the door. Finally, Anupama opens it and says, “You can stay, but you must leave your arrogance outside.”
