Anupama 22nd October 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Anupama and Prem arriving at the Shishu Chaaya Ashram. Bubbly spots Prem and asks, “You’re here?” He affectionately calls her Bubblechand. She replies, “My name is Bubbly, but you can also call me Bubblegum.” The children refer to him as Laddoo Bhaiyya. Vyas greets Anupama, expressing his surprise at her presence. Prem mentions they brought some toys for the kids. Aadhya, noticing everything is available on the internet, remarks that people no longer need a tourist guide. She sees the Gagwani men outside the orphanage and quickly covers the window with a curtain. Vyas notes that Anupama was supposed to arrive the previous night. She confirms this but is distracted by the sound of a baby crying and the children singing a lullaby. Anupama reminisces about singing the same lullaby for Aadhya. She inquires about Rahi’s whereabouts, and Vyas informs her that Rahi is inside. Anupama heads there and calls for Choti. Bubbly responds that Rahi is not there; she probably took the shortcut. Vyas questions how she knows Rahi, to which Prem asks about their connection. Vyas explains that he saw Rahi on the temple stairs during Dussera and brought her to the ashram a few years ago. Prem asks if Vyas knows anything about her. Vyas admits he doesn’t know her real name. Anupama reveals that Rahi is her daughter and expresses gratitude to Vyas for taking care of her. She urges Prem to find her daughter. Prem instructs Bubbly to call Rahi and asks her location.
Janki informs Prem that the order has been returned and that those who ate the food became unwell. Another lady mentions they received a notice and need to inform Anupama. Toshu dismisses the ladies and claims he will handle the notice, which offends them, and they walk away.
Anupama approaches Aadhya, calling her Bebli. Aadhya looks up, and Anupama hugs her, expressing how much she missed her, kissing her forehead. She says this is her first genuine laugh from the heart and that her exile has ended; it’s Diwali because she has her daughter back. Anupama questions why Aadhya left her. Aadhya suddenly pushes her down to the ground. Prem exclaims, “Maam!”
Pakhi is worried about Ishu, as her phone is unreachable. Baa suggests she inquire with the organizers, but Pakhi realizes she doesn’t have their contact information. Toshu returns home and presents the complaint notice, claiming Janki incited the women to leave. Baa mentions that everything was fine when Anupama managed everything. Pakhi sarcastically wonders if they used the same masala that Toshu bought at a discount. Baa replies that’s why Anupama prepares spices at home. Toshu defensively states that he was just trying to help a friend. Baa presses him on whether he sent that masala food to Sanghu bhai’s daughter’s engagement, leaving Toshu in shock.
Anupama asks Aadhya what she did to deserve this heartbreak. She explains that Aadhya has changed her name, identity, and city, but a mother is always a mother. Anupama questions what she could have done for Aadhya to distance herself. Aadhya forcefully tells Anupama to stop and not to approach her. Anupama insists she is her mother and expresses that daughters should not be separated from their mothers. Aadhya coldly states that Anupama is dead to her. Aadhya pours water, saying she is performing tarpan for her deceased mother, asserting that their relationship is over and that Anupama means nothing to her. Anupama stands in shock, as does Prem. Anupama insists that no matter what Aadhya calls herself, she is still her Choti. Aadhya asserts she has no connection to Anupama and pleads for her to leave. Anupama responds that if Aadhya is her daughter, she is her mother, but Aadhya walks away. Anupama asks Prem to stop her.
Vyas queries Bubbly about any information Rahi may have shared. Bubbly shakes her head. Suddenly, Gagwani arrives with his goons, demanding that they vacate the ashram and presenting a notice. Vyas points out that he signed for five years, but Gagwani states he has changed the date and insists they leave.
Toshu contemplates selling the food to various shops. Baa and Dolly confront him for insulting the women, but Toshu retorts, questioning whether they can teach him, an MBA topper, anything. Prem challenges Aadhya about her ritual for her mother, asking who he is to intervene between them. Aadhya responds that he doesn’t know Anupama’s true nature. Anupama overhears and asks what she has done. Aadhya reveals that she left home because of Anupama and accuses her of being responsible for Pops’ death.
