Anupama 22nd January 2025 Written Update

The episode begins with Parag telling Anupama that it’s her decision what to tell Prem, but she and her daughter must stay away from him. He thanks her for her time and says “Jai Shri Krishna.” Anupama stops him and responds, saying that he has said what he wanted to say. She tells him that while he asked many things about her, he missed one thing in his research. She explains that she neither blames others unnecessarily nor tolerates being accused without reason. She mentions that once, Anuj Kapadia’s empire was under her name, and now she is the owner of a small kitchen. She says happiness can’t be bought with money, and she agrees with him that they are not equals, as he is begging for his son while he cannot be compared to the giver. She adds that she will pray for his son’s return to him, knowing the pain of being separated from a child. She tells him that Prem is not a toy to give away and that he is an educated, understanding person, so she cannot force him to make a decision. She says she will try to make her daughter understand, but admits that Prem lied to her and her daughter from the start. She says, “How can I trust your lying son for my daughter when the relationship started with lies?” She continues that while Parag wants to protect his son from her daughter, she wants to protect her daughter from Prem, his lying son. Parag responds by saying that people like her lie many times, but they both know their respective statuses. He also mentions that those Parag has kept around him will eventually leave. Anupama replies, saying his status has already flown away. She expresses that she only wants her daughter’s happiness, and it cannot be found with Prem. She asks him to take his son away and promises to take her daughter away from him.

As she walks away, she remembers Prem calling himself an orphan. She recalls Prarthana saying she doesn’t know Prem, then later revealing that Parag Kothari is her father. Anupama recalls asking Prem to tell the truth about himself and sits down, stunned. She wonders how Rahi will handle this lie and what she will say to her. She thinks about all the warnings not to trust Prem, which she ignored, and feels regretful for letting him stay in her house. She wonders how she will explain to Rahi not to love Prem and how to explain her own actions. She regrets letting him into her house and wonders why he lied so much.

Meanwhile, Rahi waits for Anupama, wondering where she has gone and why Prem is stressed. She senses that something major is about to happen and prays for everything to be okay.

Parag returns home and tells Moti Baa that he met Anupama. Moti Baa says that if the woman manages to separate Prem from her daughter, he might return heartbroken. She calls Anupama clever, unsure of what she’ll do. Prarthana overhears.

At home, Anupama arrives, and Toshu asks where she went, mentioning the orders. Rahi also asks where she went, and Babu ji asks if everything is fine. Toshu asks if something happened. Anupama asks where Prem is. Rahi tells her that he went to deliver an order and thinks Prem wanted to tell her something. Prem enters with the boxes and asks for help, but as he sets them down, his phone falls. He receives a call from Prarthana. Just then, Anupama slaps him hard, shocking everyone. She declares that this slap is for all the lies he told them, calling him Prem Parag Kothari. Everyone is stunned. She accuses him not only of lying but also of making a mockery of their emotions. She recounts how she repeatedly asked him about his family, but he never told her the truth. She demands he leave her house and her daughter’s life. Rahi insists that Prem can’t be Kothari, that he can’t lie to her. Anupama tells her to see how much Rahi trusts him and how she trusts his lies over the truth of a mother. She asks her daughter if she still believes him, after everything. Rahi says there must be some misunderstanding, as Prem would never hide such a big truth. Anupama then reveals that Prem is Parag Kothari’s son, asking him to say his full name with some shame. She asks him if Parag Kothari is his father, and Prem nods, shocking Rahi. Pakhi watches, smiling to herself.

Baa says she had warned everyone, but they didn’t listen. She remarks that Prem will return to his “palace” after playing with both daughters’ emotions. She asks everyone to speak up, but they remain silent. Baa repeats that she was right and they were wrong. Anupama admits that she was wrong for the first time. She recalls when she first met Prem, thinking she saw Kanha Ji’s reflection in him. He had taken her to Dwarka and helped her meet her daughter, and she had accepted him as her son. She says she trusted him deeply, but now she has lost trust in herself. She continues, explaining how he lied at every step, saying there was no one in his life. Baa asks if he wasn’t ashamed to claim his living parents were dead. Anupama confronts him about why he kept them in the dark. She reminds him how he had told Rahi that no one can love a child like a mother, encouraging her to accept her mother. She recalls how he had brought Rahi back to her after much difficulty. She says she allowed him to stay in her house, believing he was a Saarthi who had nobody in this world, fighting against all odds. She confesses she didn’t listen to anyone’s warnings because she was stubborn. She believed Prem was her son, a part of the family. She concludes that people are right when they say one can be deceived when trying to do good. She laments how her own children couldn’t be truly hers, and how a stranger could never be her son. She recalls asking Prem if he knew Prarthana when they met, but he denied it, even as Prarthana hugged him emotionally. She expresses her regret for trusting him and allowing her daughter to fall for him, especially after Prem didn’t return to his home for years but went there yesterday to threaten his father and fight with him.
