Anupama 20th December 2024 Written Update

The episode begins with Toshu urging everyone to work quickly, saying only 50 minutes are left before 5 pm. Everyone is working together. Mahi glances at Rahi. Janki behen comments that since Prem is not here, the work is progressing slowly, it would have been twice as fast with him around. Anupama agrees, acknowledging that they’ve managed the work alone before as well. Rahi walks outside, battling her emotions. She imagines herself with Prem, jumping on a trampoline, and becomes emotional. She envisions Prem appearing and asking if she knows why she’s crying, telling her she loves him. He then asks her to say the words aloud. Rahi calls out to him, but he is not there. She recalls Prem uniting her with Anupama and all the times he stood by her, protected her, and supported her. She wonders why she misses him so much, why her eyes are searching for him. She asks herself why, after giving tears to her mother, it was Prem who wiped them away. She says she got used to him, to sharing meals with him, and questions why she’s feeling this way. Once more, she imagines Prem, who tells her that he knows the answer. He dances with her, saying their hearts know why she misses him so much after his departure, why his name is on her lips, and asks her to ask her heart if she is afraid of the answer. He makes her close her eyes. Rahi obeys, and finds herself in a different world, dancing with Prem.

Rahi realizes that she loves Prem and says, “I love you, Prem.” She laughs and says, “I am in love!” She jumps on the trampoline and says her heart has given her an answer—she loves him deeply. She continues, “Do you know that when I’m with you, I feel special, good, and the best, things I’ve never felt before? You made me realize that life isn’t just about breathing, but about something more.” She says, “You made me feel that the heart isn’t just a pumping machine, but something much deeper. You made me feel I’m not just an ordinary girl, but a special one, the way you made me feel, it’s beyond anything I’ve ever known. I meet the world every day, but to truly meet myself, I need to meet you first.” She says, “You are my first love, Prem, and I love you so much.” She sends him a voice message, asking him not to get too excited upon hearing it. She says, “Since you left, I’ve missed you and love you so much.” She wonders whom she can share this good news with and decides to tell Mummy.

Meanwhile, Prem is in the jeep, thinking about how Anu Maa had called him her Saarthi, but he left her. He decides to return, telling himself that he can’t hurt a mother and must go back. Anupama thanks God for the completed order but mentions that three big orders are coming tomorrow. She expresses her gratitude to Kanha ji for the big order and wishes that Prem were there to help. She prays for his return, hoping to relieve his pain.

Mahi asks Anupama to call Prem, saying he will come if she calls. Anupama acknowledges that if she calls him, he will return out of understanding their need, but asks Mahi to trust time. Mahi insists that a single phone call could bring him back. At that moment, Prem arrives. Mahi rushes to him, and he runs to Anupama, falling at her feet. Anupama helps him up. Prem apologizes for leaving her alone when there was a big order to fulfill. Anupama assures him she understands there must have been a reason for his departure. He insists that personal reasons should never affect professionalism and vows not to do this again. Anupama reassures him that she is not upset with him. Mahi says she’s not upset either and hugs him, surprising both Prem and Anupama. Prem apologizes once more and suggests Anupama rest while he prepares tomorrow’s meal. Anupama offers to help, asking if he’s alright. Prem replies that he will be fine and tells Anupama to rest.

Prem tells himself not to dwell on Rahi’s refusal. Mahi encourages Anupama to talk to Prem about their alliance, suggesting that once it’s fixed, he’ll be more likely to stay with them. Rahi returns and sees Prem’s jeep. She hugs it, thanking Kanha ji for bringing him back. She wonders if he heard her voice note and returned for her. She hugs the jeep and runs to the cloud kitchen. Upon entering, she sees Prem sleeping there. The song Ishq Bina plays as she whispers, “I love you too.” She apologizes for causing him so much pain and promises that things will change in the morning. She says, “I’ll confess my love to you tomorrow,” and adds, “I love you.” She gazes at him lovingly, removing the evil eye from him. She says, “If I’m your first love, you are my first love too, and we won’t let our first love remain incomplete.” She smiles through her tears as she watches him sleep.
