Anupama 1st January 2025 Written Update

The episode begins with Prem telling that it is okay if he doesn’t get his love, and that he will live with the pain. He says that just like you are stubborn, I am stubborn too; just as you couldn’t become mine, I couldn’t become Mahi’s. Rahi asks if he won’t do it for Mummy, and says that if something happens to Mahi, Mummy will die. She begs him to agree. Prem releases her hand.

Baa scolds Anupama for allowing a young man to stay in the house, saying that she wanted to open a dharamshala. Toshu says that if anything had happened, who would have been responsible. Dolly says Kavya would have sent them all to jail. Anupama tells them to stop taunting her and says it is clear how much they care about her. Baa retorts that they do care. Anupama asks, “Did you ever hug her once, or place your hand on her head and ask how she is?” Ansh says it was Prem’s mistake. Anupama clarifies that Prem is not at fault, as she has seen Mahi become obsessed with him. She says that Mahi isn’t to blame; it’s her age. Pakhi says she’s sure that Prem is just playing around with both Rahi and Mahi and asks Anupama to ask Rahi. Rahi hears this and tells Pakhi not to force her to misbehave, asking her to stop blaming Mummy for everything. Anupama says she will talk to Mahi when the situation calms down and tells everyone that nobody will say anything to her in the meantime.

Rahi goes to Anupama, who is feeling helpless. Anupama says she wants to give Mahi all the happiness in the world, but she doesn’t know how. Mahi wants Prem, and how can she make Mahi get Prem’s love? Rahi suggests that maybe Prem likes Mahi and might have said it in anger. Anupama asks if Rahi heard anything, if Prem said something to her. She insists that Prem would never play with a girl’s feelings. Anupama says that she cannot forget the sight of Mahi trying to drown herself, pushing Rahi away so she wouldn’t be saved. She says that if something happens to Mahi, it will be her fault. She regrets not talking to Prem when Mahi begged her to, and says it is all her mistake. Rahi comforts her, telling her not to worry. Anupama drinks some water and relaxes as Rahi feeds her. Anupama rests her head on Rahi’s lap. Rahi sings a lullaby.

Anupama wakes up and says she will go to see Mahi. Rahi suggests that Anupama rest, and she will go to check on Mahi instead. Anupama thanks her, and Rahi heads to Mahi’s room, where she finds her sleeping. Rahi whispers, “Don’t worry, Mahi, everything will be fine. You will get Prem.” She says that even Kanha Ji wants her to be with Prem, and places a brooch on her pillow. She gently touches Mahi’s head, her eyes filled with emotion.

Prem comes home and goes to Anupama. She is resting, and when she opens her eyes, she calls out for Mahi but then sees Prem sitting there. She asks if he is leaving forever and tells him to be happy. Prem cries and rests his head on her lap. She says she can’t force Mahi to stop loving him, and she can’t force him to love her. She reassures him that it is not his fault. Prem says that he has always treated Mahi the same way he treats Pari, Ishu, and Ansh, and never gave her any reason to feel anything more. Anupama acknowledges that he treats everyone the same, but not everyone is the same as Mahi, and that is why she misunderstood his behavior. She says she doesn’t want him to go, but she doesn’t know how to stop him. She urges him to be happy. As Prem turns to leave, he recalls Rahi’s words. He asks Anupama if he can talk to Mahi because he understands the pain of love. Anupama signals that it is okay. She prays to Kanha Ji to let everything happen the right way. Rahi hugs Anupama and tells her that Prem might like Mahi, and that friendship is the first step to love. She believes Prem will fall in love with Mahi. Anupama says she doesn’t want anything bad to happen to Prem or Mahi. Rahi tells her to stay positive, thinking that Prem won’t let them down.

Prem enters Mahi’s room and sees her upset, tearing at her teddy bear. He recalls their previous moments and tells himself to stay calm. He knocks on the door and calls out to her. Anupama speaks about how girls’ pain is often overlooked, but guys feel it too and are equally helpless. She says she is scared for Prem; he hasn’t done anything wrong, but he is burdened by guilt. She asks everyone to think about what would happen if something happened to Mahi – it would ruin Prem’s life too. She says nobody can force feelings into someone’s heart, and it’s painful to break someone’s heart, which leads to guilt. She doesn’t want Prem to do anything out of force or sympathy, as that is not love.

Prem, sitting down, takes out money and says he is giving it as sadqa so that nothing wrong happens to Mahi. He apologizes, saying he never understood what mistake he made. He tells Mahi he didn’t know when she developed feelings for him. Mahi says she doesn’t know when she started loving him, and that she can’t imagine life without him. Prem apologizes if he gave her any false hopes but swears that he has no feelings for her. Mahi asks, “What flaws do I have that you don’t love me?” Prem says, “Enough, Mahi.”
