Anupama 19th December 2024 Written Update
The episode starts with Janki behen telling Anupama that Mansi, who used to place masala orders for her son, has given them a big order. She mentions that all the Indians near her son’s circle want their masalas. Rahi suggests that they tie up with a supermarket and sell the masalas online, reminding Anupama that the tea masala became famous so quickly. Anupama agrees, saying it was a superhit. Rahi adds that Anupama is an expert in masala making and that they will take Prem’s help. Anupama asks where Prem is, and Rahi wonders where he could be, thinking if he went because she hurt him. Mahi asks where Prem is and urges Rahi to tell. Rahi says she doesn’t know. Anupama asks them to stop arguing and get to work.
Later that night, Rahi thinks to herself that Prem hasn’t come back yet. Mahi, also worried about Prem, asks where he is. Pakhi asks where Prem is too. Anupama suggests he might have gone for some work and asks them to eat. Just then, the lights go out. Rahi tells them to have food and says she will bring candles. As she goes to get them, she finds Prem standing at the door, injured. She rushes to him, dropping the candles, and shouts his name. She holds him and asks what happened. Prem pushes her away upon seeing her face. Anupama and the others come running and ask what happened. Prem falls unconscious. Anupama and Mahi rush to help him. Toshu suggests that if anything had happened to him, they would have to go to the police station. Pakhi agrees, saying it’s not right to let an orphan stay in their house. Anupama tells them to be quiet, as Prem is in pain. Prem regains consciousness. Baa asks who did this to him. Prem responds that he just wants to sleep. Anupama suggests they talk later and says they should take him to a room. They carry him to his room. Rahi blames herself for what happened to Prem. Ansh tells her that local goons beat him up. Rahi asks where the goons are, and she goes there to confront them. She beats them up and takes Prem’s wallet, watch, and jeep keys. The goons apologize, with one saying that Prem punched him in the face because he passed cheap comments about Rahi. Another goon says they beat him up, but he didn’t leave his phone and kept looking at her photo. Rahi gets emotional. She returns home and sees Prem looking at her photo. She approaches him. He drinks some water and tells her to leave. He apologizes for making her sleep outside.
In the morning, Toshu tells Anupama that he has spoken to the courier guy, and if they send the courier in bulk, they can save money. Anupama says they will assign the online work to Prem, as he is educated and knows how to handle it, even though he’s injured. Prem enters and says he can’t stay there and has to leave. Mahi asks if Rahi said something to him. Toshu asks if he came here to get married. Pakhi insists that Prem can’t leave like this. Dolly mentions that he has to give notice before leaving. Baa asks why he wants to leave. Mahi says if there’s any issue, they can sort it out. Anupama asks what happened that made him want to leave, and if anyone said something to him. She asks him to share. Prem replies that no one said anything, but he feels that he can’t stay and must leave. He asks to be let go. Rahi and Mahi are saddened. Anupama also feels sad. Toshu complains that Prem is leaving, and they now have a big order to fulfill. Pakhi says that it must be something Rahi did to make him leave. Toshu wonders who will do the work now. Anupama reminds them that while they’re focused on the work, no one is noticing how badly injured Prem is. She says she took this big order and will complete it herself. Toshu protests that she might get unwell again, but Anupama says she has to do it, reminding him that his mother is still alive. Mahi leaves the room, followed by Rahi. Mahi is in tears as she vents her feelings, and Rahi cries while messing up the room. A song plays as they both call out to Prem. Prem, meanwhile, is on his way in the jeep.
Anupama resolves to complete the order by 5 pm. She tells herself that she will manage it and sends a voice message to Prem, telling him to take care and expressing that she understands something must have happened that made him leave. She says if he wants to talk, he can confide in her as his mother.
Toshu calls the chef, but the chef demands a high salary. He says if he had known, he would have taken a hotel management course. Toshu wonders how to find a chef like Prem, who does excellent work. Kinjal points out that now Toshu values Prem. Toshu admits that he didn’t like him, but Prem’s cooking is like Anupama’s food. Kinjal reassures him that they’ll find another chef, and she urges him to help Anupama. Toshu agrees and says he hopes Prem returns. He goes to help. Anupama feels dizzy but tells herself that she will complete the work. Janki Behen and her team arrive, saying they will help with the work. Anupama is relieved and thanks them. Baa, Pari, and Ansh also come to help. Anupama thanks them all.
Prem, meanwhile, feels torn about helping Anupama but doesn’t want to face Rahi. His jeep breaks down, and he stops to change the tire. Rahi calls him, but a young boy answers the phone. Rahi asks if Prem is ignoring her. The boy apologizes, saying he didn’t realize Prem was avoiding her and adds that if the girl is meant for him, she will return to him, otherwise someone else will come. The boy leaves. Prem says he wants only Rahi.
Mahi talks to Anupama, saying that Prem left without speaking to her. She shares that even Kavya Maa left her. Mahi asks Anupama to talk to Rahi and ask her to call Prem back. She says she knows she’s pressuring Anupama, even though she’s unwell, but if a daughter can’t tell her mother, who else will she turn to? Mahi calls Anupama “Anu Maa” and pleads with her to bring Prem back. Anupama hugs her and tells her not to cry.
