Anupama 17th October 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Dolly calling Meenu. Baa asks who she is speaking to. Dolly replies that everyone calls her, but her daughter never does; she only speaks to Bhabhi every week, and she has to reach out to ask how she is. Baa expresses her support, saying she is with Dolly. Dolly shares her frustrations, stating that she can’t work due to her poor health and ends up staring at her phone all day. Baa urges her to resolve the conflict with Sanjay Kumar. Dolly pleads and then leaves. Anupama overhears them and approaches Baa. Baa expresses concern about who will look after Dolly if something happens to her and Babu ji. Anupama reassures her that she is there to take care of them. Baa warns Anupama that if she leaves, she may not find what she has lost. Anupama insists she must try, but Babu ji calls her selfish, saying she should prioritize her daughter instead of avoiding her own child. Baa questions Babu ji, asking why he remains with her if she is so bad. He replies that it’s because they are family.
Prem’s friends tease him about his interest in spirituality, joking that he talks like someone from the ’70s. He responds that he is focused on finding the aim of his life rather than pursuing a girl. As he closes his eyes, he envisions Aadhya and asks Kanha ji why he came to find his purpose instead of a girl. A guy named Sattu approaches them, greeting them with “Jai Dwarkadeesh,” and says he heard they were looking for a place to stay. Prem and his friends affirm this. Meanwhile, Aadhya sees them in an auto and runs after them, shouting for them to stop, but they drive off. She tells her friend that the hero left, wondering whose money it could be.
Anupama decides she will make a mannat in Dwarka and imagines Anuj there, smiling. She expresses that even though he is far away, his feelings remain close to her, living on in her breath and heartbeat. She feels he hasn’t truly left her. As the song plays, Anupama notices Mahi standing nearby and asks when she arrived. Mahi tells her she can’t go to Dwarkadeesh like that. Anupama responds that Kanha ji blessed her with another daughter before she lost Choti. She hugs Mahi and advises her to focus on her studies since exams are approaching. Pari and Ansh enter, and Pari asks Anupama to bring Prasad. Anupama agrees, but just then, the lights go out. Pari suggests that perhaps new light will emerge. Anupama thinks of Aadhya.
Aadhya is calculating costs and explains that the ashram is already mortgaged, so they need to find ways to cut expenses. Vyas inquires why she is doing this for them. She replies that they are all her family. The kids express that they can’t sleep, and Aadhya assures them she will help them sleep. She begins to sing a lullaby, calming all the children. Anupama also sings a lullaby for Mahi, Pari, and Ansh. Vyas asks Aadhya where she learned the lullaby. Aadhya responds that she learned it from her Maa. She reflects that she doesn’t miss those who are gone. Meanwhile, Anupama thinks that her hope of meeting Aadhya has kept her alive. Aadhya wishes she never meets her.
The next day, Anupama is leaving with Ansh and asks Toshu to give a cheque to someone. Toshu insists he can manage it. Anupama tells him there can be no compromises regarding food quality. Toshu reassures her not to worry. She reminds Mahi and the others to eat the burgers she prepared. Ansh requests curd and sugar from Babu ji. Baa tells Anupama to go and suggests that she should accept her daughter is dead. Anupama challenges her to think carefully and reminds her that she is waiting for her son while saying this about her daughter. As she departs, she reminisces about her moments with Aadhya, closes her eyes, and prays before leaving home.
Aadhya mentions she will arrive in five minutes, but her slipper breaks. She decides to get two nails to fix it. Prem appears, picks up her slipper, and repairs it for her. He admits he used to have hydrophobia but has learned to bathe and drink water. Aadhya thanks him and gives him a pouch of mannat money. He explains that this mannat is special, representing a mother’s love for her child. Aadhya retorts that not all mothers are good. Prem argues that all mothers are good, but we often misunderstand them. As the mannat money spills over her, he suggests she buy a peacock feather to present at the temple. Anupama remains hopeful as Aadhya carries the peacock feather to the temple. Prem notices a girl crying, and as her mother comes to hug her, he reflects that in Dwarka, people meet again.
