Anupama 17th December 2024 Written Update
The episode starts with Prem looking at Rahi, while Mahi asks Prem if he would like some corn. Prem thanks her. Anupama comes over and says she had just gone to withdraw money from the ATM. Toshu suggests that she could have made the payment online. Anupama replies that she prefers to give her team’s salary in an envelope with Tilak, so they feel like they’ve earned it. She hands the envelope to Rahi, saying, “This is your earnings.” Rahi takes it but then returns it to her. Anupama insists, saying, “I’ll keep it, but it’s yours.” She then offers the envelope to Prem. Prem declines, saying he eats here, stays here, and doesn’t need any money. Anupama suggests that maybe he has family members. Prem tells her that he’s an orphan and doesn’t know anyone. He says he can stay in Kaveri’s shed all his life and feels that they are now his family. Anupama assures him, “You are part of our family.” She says again, “I’ll keep it, but it’s yours.” She then asks him to take her to the market. Prem looks at Rahi and then walks off, while Mahi wonders if he was looking at her.
In the jeep, Anupama says it’s very cold. She thanks Kanha ji for the big orders. Prem says, “Anu ki Rasoi will be one of the best catering companies.” Anupama responds, “Ghee and sugar in your mouth.” He continues, “With Rahi by your side, your business will prosper.” Anupama says, “Both my daughters are talented. Mahi is great at housework, just like you, and Rahi is great at business, like her father.” Prem says, “Mahi is just like you. Wherever she goes, it will feel like heaven.” Anupama responds, “Whoever marries her will be very lucky.” He adds, “We can say the same about Rahi, too. She’s perfect—strong, independent, caring, fights for the truth, creative, and artistic. She even does the men’s work, and she’s not delicate like most girls.” He pauses and then says, “And…,” to which Anupama asks, “What?” Prem says, “Since she’s your business partner, she should take the decisions.” Anupama asks, “What are you going to do in the future?” He responds that he plans to open a café. Anupama asks again, “Are you sure there’s nobody in your family?” Prem assures her, “I have no family, just you people, and I feel like I’m doubting you.” Anupama says she’s just asking. Meanwhile, Mahi tells Pakhi that her mother has taken Prem out to talk about her. Pakhi suggests that Anupama might try to pair Prem with Rahi and warns Mahi not to be happy about it. Pari asks Rahi if no guy proposed to her during the function, since she looked beautiful.
Prem asks Anupama to wait in the jeep while he goes to get the items. Anupama agrees. She then notices a girl walking in front of a truck. Anupama rushes out of the jeep and saves her, but the girl falls to safety and faints. A crowd gathers. Anupama calls Prem to bring water. Prem comes back to the jeep, hears Anupama, and rushes to give her water. When he sees the girl’s face, he is shocked and hides his surprise. Anupama says she’ll drop her and calls Prem. The girl starts crying and says she’ll go on her own. She gets into an auto and leaves.
Radha laughs at Rahi and asks if she was trying to make three braids. Rahi says no. Radha praises Prem and goes to show her hairstyle to him. Rahi, however, is lost in thoughts of Prem and their moments together. She feels confused and emotional, gazing at the ring.
Mahi tells Ishu that she’ll bring some earrings for her. Ishu comments on how Prem is good looking and stylish. Pakhi suggests Mahi might be imagining things, as Prem spends more time with Rahi. She adds that Prem is a loser since he has no family or money. Mahi comes back, handing Ishu the earrings. She hears the jeep approaching and rushes toward Anupama. Mahi asks, “Did you talk to Prem?” Anupama tells her to be patient, as they can’t rush things. Mahi expresses her fear of losing Prem and says that if that happens, she can’t live. Anupama grows concerned, thinking that Mahi’s obsession with getting someone can’t be right. She recalls Janki behen’s advice. She also remembers Prem’s words, and a sense of dread settles over her.
Prem calls the girl and asks if she’s okay, as she fainted on the road. He tells her to take care and that she’s very important to him. He says he will come to meet her. As he turns around, he sees Rahi standing there. Rahi approaches him, and Prem says, “I didn’t do anything, maybe destiny is trying to unite us.” He shows her how her dupatta got stuck in his watch. As she tries to take it off, her hair gets caught in his jacket’s zipper. She struggles to free her hair and hurts herself. Prem tells her to slap him or scold him but not hurt herself. He says, “I want to give you love, not pain.” Anupama walks in and sees them standing together. She asks, “What happened?” Prem replies, “We were discussing tomorrow’s orders.” Anupama prays to Kanha ji to handle the situation. Later that night, Prem calls Rahi. Radha asks why she isn’t picking up. Rahi replies that it’s late and asks her to sleep. Radha says she will sleep, but Rahi won’t be able to.
