Anupama 16th November 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Anupama asking what Aadhya has done. Baa says she was selling sarees in the market. Dolly shows a video of Aadhya being identified by the neighbors, who made a video of her. Aadhya had thought she needed to sell sarees to buy costumes and jewelry for the competition. Flashback ends. Baa mentions that she sold sarees at a discount but lowered their respect for nothing. Aadhya asks what her respect has to do with her work, and Baa replies that since Aadhya is staying here, their respect is tied to it. Aadhya says that if people ask about Krishnakunj, they will know it as a place full of noise. The family gets upset and asks Anupama why she brought Aadhya here. Anupama says enough. Aadhya questions the kind of respect this is and argues that she doesn’t lose when she fights, but her respect was lost when she worked hard to earn money. She says she sold sarees to buy her own costume and jewelry, while everyone is here to take care of others, but she has to arrange everything herself. Anupama is emotional. Baa accuses Aadhya of showing attitude while making a mistake. Aadhya says that’s their problem, not hers. She then folds her hands before God, applies tilak, and takes an apple as Prasad. She says she is not taking her mother’s blessings but God’s blessings, and she will win. Baa tells Ansh, Ishu, and Pari that she got special puja done for them and gives them flowers for good luck. When she says the flower is finished for Mahi, Anupama insists that everyone should get the blessings. Baa remarks that blessings aren’t like oxygen for everyone to get, and Aadhya gets angry but stays calm and leaves. Mahi is hurt and walks away.
The family arrives at the competition. Pari says there will be many participants. Kinjal reassures her that only a few will have talent. Toshu praises Pari. Pakhi says Ishu will win for sure. Baa says Ansh, Pari, and Ishu are sure winners. Dolly mentions she didn’t wish them good luck. Anupama sees Mahi looking sad and advises her not to worry about what others think and focus on her performance. Mahi expresses how Baa’s words hurt her. Anupama tells her to channel her pain and anger into her performance, to show the world what she is capable of. Mahi hugs her. Anupama says her daughter is the best. Mahi looks for Prem, and Anupama looks for Aadhya. Aadhya is seen looking at Kanha ji’s photo frame, praying for help to return to Dwarka and win. Prem tells her he has already prayed to Kanha ji. They argue about who will win. Aadhya says her Kanha will make her win, while Prem says she will stay in Krishna Kunj. He wishes her all the best. Aadhya tells him to keep his best wishes. Her dupatta gets caught in his watch, and he smiles while freeing it.
The family members prepare for the competition. Anupama helps Mahi get ready, Pakhi helps Ishu, and Kinjal helps Pari. Toshu cheers for Ansh. Prem arrives, and Anupama smiles at him. Mahi looks at him, while Aadhya enters, ready for the competition. Just then, the lady announces that only participants can stay in the green room, and parents must leave. Baa tells Ansh, Ishu, and Pari to keep the flower with them. Pakhi tells Ishu to win. Anupama throws mogra flowers on Aadhya. Aadhya smells the flowers, looking around. Anupama recalls Anuj and wishes everyone good luck. Ansh says he will win, while Pari says the same. Ishu, Pari, Mahi, and Prem all express confidence in winning. Ishu says they will see who wins on the stage.
The competition starts. The anchor announces that participants have come from all around Gujarat. He introduces the first judge, singer Parul Gandhi, and the second judge, Gujarati film and theater king Ketan Gada. Ishu complains that Parul will be a boring judge. Another contestant says Ketan Gada is very strict. The anchor introduces a special guest and honorary judge, Anupama Joshi, who made Gujarat famous internationally. The audience is surprised, and Dolly exclaims “Bhabhi!” Everyone says “Anu Maa.” Ishu expresses surprise that Anupama never told them. Anupama goes on stage. Baa worries that Anupama might show partiality, and Dolly says she’ll make her daughter win. Toshu mentions that now Anupama will give unfair advantage to her own child.
The anchor introduces Anupama as a professional dancer, winner of the Superstar Chef trophy, and owner of the popular cloud kitchen “Anu Ki Rasoi.” He mentions that she had refused to be a judge initially, as her kids were participating, praising her honesty. Anupama greets everyone, saying art is a blessing from Maa Saraswati and Prasad from Kanha ji. She says that arrogance, ego, and jealousy drive art far away and advises the participants to work hard, ask for God’s blessing, but never wish for someone else’s defeat. She encourages them to win with talent and character. She wishes them all the best. The anchor, Rohan, asks Anupama to dance to kick off the competition. Anupama hesitates but agrees after the kids cheer for her.
Anupama dances to “Chal Wahin Chale,” reflecting on the events and ending her dance, thinking that her family should not lose, no matter who wins. Aadhya believes Anupama will give her fewer marks to make her lose, but she resolves to perform so well that the other judges will give her high scores.
The competition continues with the first contestant, Krish, who performs a bicycle stunt. The anchor introduces the next contestant, Ishani Shah, who does a modeling act and dances to “Lucky Boy.” Pakhi takes a video of her to upload on social media, and everyone applauds. Baa dismisses it as a weak performance. Kinjal says it wasn’t that impressive. The anchor announces the next participant, Pari Shah, who performs a stunning dance to “Jalwa” while creatively draping a dupatta. The judges are impressed. Toshu praises her talent, while Kinjal feels that talent is more than just dancing. Pakhi dismisses it as a waste of time. Anupama thinks the competition is getting stronger as the performances continue.
