Anupama 16th December 2024 Written Update
The episode begins with Rahi leaving in Prem’s jeep. Prem runs after her and finds she is gone. Janki behen asks Anupama what has happened. Anupama replies that nothing is wrong. Janki behen says that they were all upset with Rahi, but now she has changed and is being kind, even making tea for everyone. She mentions that Rahi and Prem often argue, but one thing is clear—they make a perfect team. They prioritize work and forget about food when they are busy. She says whatever Prem couldn’t do, Rahi manages, and vice versa. Anupama asks about Prem, and Janki behen says he is like Kanha ji, truthful and good. She then asks if Anupama is asking about Mahi. Anupama wonders how she knows. Janki behen says that Mahi tries to stay close to Prem and looks at him affectionately. She asks if something has happened. Anupama says she is unsure about Prem’s feelings for Mahi, as Mahi loves him deeply but she’s uncertain whether Prem is serious or if someone else holds his heart. She says if Mahi doesn’t get Prem’s love, she will be heartbroken. Mahi has longed for parental love, and if she doesn’t receive it, she will feel lost. Anupama asks if Janki behen has any insights. Janki behen replies that she doesn’t think Prem loves Mahi in that way. She believes Mahi might have misunderstood Prem’s friendship for love. She adds that Prem spends more time with Rahi, and Mahi may think that Prem loves Rahi, but it’s not true. She says their partnership is good, and if Prem has anything to say, he will do so on his own.
Rahi is driving the jeep while Prem is standing on the skateboard attached to the jeep. She stops when she sees a tree blocking the road, and he moves it aside before looking at her.
Mahi smiles as she admires the pearl jewelry. Rahi gestures to Prem to come and sit in the jeep, and he does. They drive off and reach home. Mahi hears the jeep and walks outside. Prem asks Rahi to keep the ring, telling her that it will keep his hopes alive. He says his heart is racing as if he might have a heart attack and asks her to accept it so he can find peace. Rahi walks away without taking the ring, and it falls from his hand. Mahi approaches and asks if it is for her. Prem denies it, saying it’s not what she thinks. Anupama watches from a distance. Baa arrives and asks if Prem has brought guava. He quickly pockets the ring and asks her what it is called in English. Baa struggles to recall, and Prem teasingly says “wah wah,” before saying it’s guava and handing it to her. Prem says he is hungry and goes with Baa. Mahi tells Anupama that Prem was about to propose but was interrupted by Baa. Anupama reflects on what she saw—Prem was about to kneel with the ring, but Mahi’s entrance stopped him. She decides not to jump to conclusions and wants to learn more about his family first, as it involves her daughter’s future.
Rahi arrives at the Cloud kitchen, takes the keys from worker Hina, and enters. She eats the food there and recalls Prem’s earlier confession. She says that life has only just started feeling normal. Prem tells Pari that he proposed to Rahi, but she didn’t respond. He says after hearing him out, she simply sat in the jeep and left. He wonders if she might confront him in front of everyone. Pari suggests giving Rahi some time, and Prem agrees to talk to her.
Pakhi tells Toshu that Rahi and Prem are dominating, and now they are sidelining him, as they brought four orders. Anupama walks in and asks what they’re talking about. She suggests they all drink some kada to ward off the cold. Ishu enters and calls out to Pakhi, asking for money to pay the entry fees for a fashion show. Pakhi responds that she doesn’t have money since she doesn’t work. She mocks Ishu, saying no one will give her lakhs for the event. Anupama insists that Kinjal drink the kada. Kinjal does so, and Anupama points out that the kada exposes people’s overacting. She scolds Pakhi for acting helpless when she isn’t. She tells her to be responsible and get a job, as she’s educated. Anupama says it’s fine when a mother provides, but if she refuses, she’s seen as an enemy. Anupama tells Ishu that if the money is for something important, she will help. She walks away.
Baa tells everyone to get back to work, adding that Anupama is changing. Pakhi agrees, and Toshu also notices the difference. Kinjal says Anupama is right—how long can she keep doing everything, and urges Pakhi to start helping.
Prem approaches Rahi, and she gets startled. He reassures her and asks if she’s so happy that she finished all the sweets. He moves closer, and it seems he might kiss her, but it turns out to be a figment of her imagination. Ansh calls out to Rahi, asking if she came to check. She tells him that Anupama’s friend praised the catering service and says she couldn’t have done it without Prem. Ansh comments that the friend said their partnership is great, and goes to make tea. Rahi sees Prem standing outside, and they share a brief moment of eye contact. Prem feels relieved that Rahi isn’t alone and leaves.
Prem later tells Kaveri that he’s heard about Anupama and Anuj’s love story and wants his own love to be as deep as theirs. He dances around happily. Meanwhile, Ansh serves tea to Rahi, who continues to think about Prem. Mahi also reflects on her feelings for him, smiling as she remembers how close she was to receiving a proposal from him. She hopes Anupama will talk to Prem.
