Anupama 13th September 2024 Written Update
The episode starts with Anupama expressing her concern to Babu ji, saying she’s worried because Anuj went to confront Ankush and Barkha. She explains she didn’t accompany him as she didn’t want to interfere between the brothers, but now she’s feeling anxious. Babu ji reassures her, saying there’s no need to worry. He describes Anuj as a lion, not just someone who recites poetry like a lion but someone whose roar is enough to intimidate anyone. He adds that if Ankush and Barkha are in the wrong, Anuj won’t hesitate to deal with them.
Meanwhile, Ankush is shocked when Anuj confronts him. Ankush tries to act innocent, asking where Anuj went and claiming they thought he had died, like his daughter Aadhya. Anuj yells that Aadhya is alive, leaving Ankush stunned. Anuj continues, explaining that Aadhya is safe with him and Anu. He then begins unleashing his pent-up anger. He reminds Ankush that he trusted him and Barkha blindly, but they betrayed him by giving him false news about his daughter’s death.
Anuj accuses them of lying to his staff and telling everyone that he had moved to the US. He demands to know why they didn’t just ask for his help instead of trying to take over his business. He tells Ankush that he would’ve willingly given him everything if he had only asked. Anuj explains that he allowed Ankush to manage the business to ensure the employees’ livelihoods, not so they could betray him. He shares how he spent seven agonizing months thinking his daughter was gone, all because of Ankush and Barkha’s deceit.
Anuj continues, saying that he was completely shattered and believed that his family would support him. But instead, they wanted him to suffer, to die slowly in his pain. He accuses them of backstabbing him by giving him wrong medications, trying to keep him weak and under their control. He declares that he’s only standing strong now because of Anu, who brought Aadhya back into his life. Anuj concludes by saying that Ankush, once his family, has become his enemy.
Back at home, Anupama watches Sagar teaching Aadhya and reflects on Dolly’s harsh words. She notices Sagar’s discomfort and reassures him, offering him and Aadhya tea. She tells Sagar not to worry, as he’s not in the wrong. Just then, Mahi runs in, calling out “Badi Mummy.” Anupama hugs her and asks what’s wrong. Mahi tearfully explains that Toshu threatened to send her to her mother, but she doesn’t want to go. She wants to stay with the family.
Mahi, clearly upset, asks if Anupama would let her stay if Toshu throws her out. She promises not to be a burden and says she will help with the household chores. Anupama, moved by her words, comforts Mahi, saying that she’s too young to speak such big things. She tells her that children are never a burden, they are gifts from God. Anupama then jokingly says she’ll scold Toshu for making Mahi cry and assures her that she won’t let her go anywhere. Mahi, feeling reassured, smiles and hugs Anupama tightly.
Anupama then asks Aadhya to take Mahi to play ludo. Just then, Indra arrives and asks why Mahi was crying. Anupama, feeling overwhelmed, sighs and says that everyone seems to have lost their minds—first Ankush and Barkha, then Toshu, and now even Dolly. She wonders aloud what she should do to make things right and help them all.
