Advocate Anjali Awasthi 9th October 2024 Written Update
Nandini warns Gaurav to behave himself. Gaurav retorts that instead of focusing on his behavior, she should pay attention to the truth he’s stating; he wants to confront advocate Awasthi and ask her how she could sell her integrity for a few lakhs and a flat. He is certain that advocate Awasthi’s mother must have emotionally manipulated her, but he believes Awasthi will rise again, defeat Raghav, deliver justice to Padma, and send Yuvraj to jail. Nandini thinks she needs to approach advocate Awasthi differently, as large sums of money and family dignity are on the line.
Anjali blocks Raghav and his team’s exit outside the court. Bhajan warns her to step aside. Anjali retorts, telling him not to interfere, as she presents jewelry, a designer sari, and flat documents to Raghav, claiming this is the bribe he gave to her mother to withdraw from the case. Raghav shouts in disbelief, declaring it nonsense. Anjali asserts that she has proven Raghav is resorting to bribery and illegal tactics instead of fighting the case fairly. Raghav warns her to stop insulting him, but his assistant grabs Anjali’s arm and tries to push her away.
Anjali delivers her familiar line that her words carry weight inside the court and her actions outside it, freeing her hand in the process. She displays a pen drive to Raghav, claiming it contains evidence against Yuvraj that could spell doom for him and his team. Bhajan yells, questioning why she is still acting as if she hasn’t accepted a bribe. Anjali responds that her mother will soon return the bribe and insist that she proceed with the case. Raghav feels deeply humiliated in front of everyone at the court and returns home, where Nandini attempts to calm him down, though to no avail.
Ginni reassures him that she will manage the situation and contacts Sapna. In a humiliating manner, she questions Sapna about why she allowed her daughter Anjali to insult her father-in-law and attempted to return the bribe Sapna received. Anjali arrives home with the bribe items. Sapna asks where she had been with them, and Anjali responds that she took them to court, proving that Raghav is using bribery to win the case. She explains how she is being accused of taking bribes like her father and betraying her client. Ginni demands that Sapna hand the phone to Anjali, accusing her of trying to ruin her marital life.
Raghav takes the phone from Anjali, challenging her to fight in court and vowing to destroy her completely. Nandini tries to calm him once more, urging him to let Ginni handle the case. Ginni steps aside and emotionally manipulates Sapna again, insisting that she needs to protect her marriage from Anjali’s hostility. Sapna curses Anjali to fail and blames her for trying to ruin Ginni’s life. Anjali rejects the accusations and promises not to pursue the case until Sapna explicitly asks her to do so.
Inspector Pankaj calls Anjali, requesting her presence at the police station. When she arrives, he questions her about her decision to back off from the case due to familial pressure. He expresses his respect for her, despite her being younger, and calls her Agnishikha, stating that he had viewed her as someone fighting for others without seeking personal gain and had never expected her to back down; he had considered her a role model, among other compliments.
