Ganesh, confused by Anjali’s decisions, confronts her, asking what is going on. Anjali firmly declares that she will not go to the Rajput house. Sapna questions her, asking if this defiance reflects how they raised her. Anjali retorts that Raghav will never truly accept their marriage, claiming it is a scheme to keep her from attending court. She challenges Sapna, asking if she cannot see the trap. Anjali declares to both Sapna and Ganesh that while she can endure many things, she will not compromise her identity as an advocate.
Ganesh, concerned, asks Anjali if she has done anything wrong. He reassures her that she is fulfilling her duties as an advocate but reminds her that she must also honor her responsibilities as a daughter-in-law. Anjali responds that going to her in-laws’ house is simply not in her destiny. Sapna receives a call from Nandini, who informs her that although Anjali performed the Gruhpravesh ritual, she caused a scene at their house. She reminds Sapna that Anjali and Ginni became their daughters-in-law without their consent but were still accepted into the family. Nandini insists that Anjali attend her first kitchen ritual the next day as part of her duties. Pressuring Sapna, Nandini extracts a promise to ensure Anjali fulfills this obligation. Reluctantly, Sapna agrees.
Aman asks Sapna about the promise she made. Sapna explains that she assured Nandini Anjali would go to the Rajput mansion. Feeling betrayed, Anjali questions how Sapna could make such a promise without consulting her. She reiterates that it’s a trap, but Sapna remains resolute, saying she has given her word, and Anjali must honor it. Anjali calls Raghav, who, under Nandini’s influence, addresses her as his daughter-in-law. She accuses him of setting a trap to prevent her from attending court by tying her down with the first kitchen ritual. Raghav deflects her accusations with biting remarks.
Anjali confides in Aman, reminding him that only he knows the truth—they are not truly married. She asserts that she will not participate in the first kitchen ritual. Aman, guilt-ridden, admits he never expected matters to escalate this far. Anjali, frustrated, reacts sharply to his hesitation. Aman then receives a call from Raghav, who commands him to ensure Anjali comes home for the ritual. Raghav emphasizes the sacrifices he has made for Aman and demands this favor in return before abruptly ending the call.
Ganesh later informs Anjali that someone from her in-laws’ house has arrived to meet her. To her surprise, it is Abhay, who informs her and Aman about the ritual and warns that if Anjali fails to attend, he will consider their marriage fraudulent. Ganesh steps in, cautioning Abhay to watch his words. While acknowledging Aman’s deceit, he defends Anjali’s integrity and promises Abhay that she will attend the ritual. Abhay accepts the assurance and leaves. Despite this, Anjali resolves to go to the Rajput house, not to comply but to sabotage Ginni’s marriage.
The following day, Chandrabhan calls Raghav, reminding him that Yuvraj’s bail hinges on Anjali’s absence from court. Raghav assures him that Anjali will not appear, citing Sapna’s promise to Nandini that Anjali would attend the first kitchen ritual. Chandrabhan reflects on Raghav’s previous defeat by Anjali and makes a pointed remark about the situation.
