Sapna packs her clothes, feeling humiliated by the recent events, and believes they should leave once Ganesh is discharged from the hospital. She confides in Anjali about how Raghav made her clean his shoes, an act she finds degrading. Sapna is determined that they should leave, not wanting Anjali to remain in danger because of the situation.
Ramesh enters and reminds Sapna that, as a mother, she must be strong. He uses the metaphor of an Indian mother who, when her son dies in battle, prepares her other son to fight, rather than asking them to flee the battlefield. He insists that they must stand firm, despite the powerful forces they face, but Sapna remains convinced they cannot fight back.
Ramesh then brings up the debts that need to be repaid. He recalls how Yuvraj has wronged them—he humiliated Ganesh, tried to assault Anjali, and even attempted to kill her father, among other things. Ramesh urges Anjali to take action and punish those responsible. When Anjali asks how Ramesh knows these details, he reveals that a new disciple, who also loves her, informed him.
Ramesh implores Sapna to let Anjali continue the fight, claiming that the Mahabharat (the great battle) must not stop. Sapna finally agrees, especially after Anjali promises to repay the money owed to Raghav. She also criticizes Anjali for wanting to run away and accuses her of becoming selfish, but ultimately, she thanks Ramesh for making her realize that Anjali must continue the struggle.
Ramesh thanks Sapna for allowing Anjali to resume her fight and comments on it. Aman, who has been watching from a distance, steps forward, and Ramesh thanks him for revealing the truth and helping convince Sapna. Ramesh is surprised to learn that Aman is Raghav’s son and prepares to leave. Aman asks Ramesh if he knows Raghav, and Ramesh gives a cryptic response.
Raghav reassures Yuvraj that he will be exonerated in the next court hearing, planning to humiliate Anjali when she appears as his junior. A lawyer arrives with a gift for Yuvraj, which turns out to be a bowl. Anjali throws a Rs 10 note into the bowl, publicly humiliating Yuvraj by turning him into a beggar with his own gift. Raghav reminds Anjali that Yuvraj will soon be his son-in-law and chastises her for the insult. Ramesh enters at that moment and comments that Anjali is simply repaying what she owes, further justifying her actions.
