Inspector Pankaj’s subordinate, Vidyut Kashyap, confronts a car driver who was responsible for Ganesh’s accident and releases him after issuing a warning. Pankaj enters and challenges him for letting the culprit go without taking any legal action. Vidyut responds, claiming he is being insulted. Pankaj questions whether he bothered to find out whose car the driver was operating. Vidyut admits he did not. Pankaj reveals that the car belongs to Chandrabhan Thakur’s unnamed company, and the accident was a planned attempt to murder, something Anjali could easily prove in court.
Vidyut counters by stating that Anjali won’t be handling the case anymore as she is now Raghav’s assistant. Pankaj presses him further, bringing up Vidyut’s attendance at a wedding on August 9th and his backdated entry of Yuvraj in the general diary. Vidyut becomes visibly uneasy. Pankaj calls Anjali and informs her that the driver involved in Ganesh’s accident has been caught, and it turns out he works for Chandrabhan. Anjali affirms that this is an attempted murder case and mentions the relevant legal sections. Pankaj comments that he’s seeing a spark in Agnishikha once again and encourages Anjali to take on the case. Just then, Pankaj catches Vidyut trying to send a message to Yuvraj. Vidyut quickly deletes the message and walks off, stating that Pankaj has no proof against him.
Raghav notices Yuvraj is anxious about the upcoming court date for Padma’s case and Anjali’s potential involvement. Yuvraj worries that Anjali might take action against them, but Raghav reassures him, reminding him that Anjali owes him a debt and will only appear in court as his subordinate if needed. Nandini also expresses concern, but Raghav comforts her, assuring both her and Yuvraj that everything is under control with both legal and other measures in place to handle Anjali. He downplays Anjali’s importance in the matter. Nandini tries to calm Yuvraj, and he agrees to remain composed.
Yuvraj calls Anjali, mocking her with the image of an injured lion and claiming that Raghav has secured her loyalty, suggesting that she won’t be able to take any action against them. Anjali responds with defiance, promising to teach Yuvraj a lesson when the opportunity arises.
Sapna, curious, asks Anjali who she was talking to, and Anjali reveals it was Yuvraj. Sapna advises her to avoid getting involved with him, but Anjali dismisses the suggestion. At that moment, Padma informs Anjali that reporters have arrived, questioning whether she can secure justice for her case, with rumors spreading that Anjali has sold out, just like her father. Anjali, however, dismisses the gossip, expressing that her father’s well-being concerns her more than public opinion. Ramesh watches this interaction from a distance, visibly emotional.
