Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein 7th September 2024 Written Update
A heavily intoxicated Rajat barges into Ashika’s room, loudly calling out for Arsh. Ashika, just coming out of the bathroom, is startled and shouts at Rajat to leave. Rajat locks the door from the inside and demands to know where Arsh is. Ashika, growing frustrated, tells him to stop misbehaving and get out. Rajat, in his drunken state, insists he wants to know the truth. Confused, Ashika asks what truth he’s referring to. Rajat accuses her of having an affair with Arsh even before their divorce and demands to know if he or Arsh is Sai’s real father. Ashika, shocked, says she has no idea what he’s talking about. Rajat, visibly distressed, says he’s struggling to accept Sai as his daughter because of her and Arsh. He reveals that he married Savi, who he hates, because of them, and that his parents have loved and cared for Sai for five years, but he needs to know if Sai is truly their granddaughter. Ashika, frustrated, pushes him away. Rajat, in a fit of rage, throws his alcohol bottle at her, shattering it. He picks up a piece of broken glass and threatens her, demanding the truth. Panicking, Ashika shoves him onto the bed, runs out of the room, and locks him inside.
Ashika immediately calls Arsh, who is busy at work, and frantically tells him that a drunken Rajat has stormed into her room and might kill her. Arsh, amused, says she should have called him earlier to watch the “beautiful drama” unfold. Annoyed, Ashika threatens to call the police, but Arsh warns her against it, suggesting she call Savi instead, while explaining his plan. Meanwhile, Savi notices it’s already 2 a.m. and Rajat still hasn’t come home. She then receives Ashika’s call, who tearfully explains that Rajat, drunk and erratic, barged into her house looking for Arsh. Concerned, Savi tells her she’s on her way.
When Savi arrives, Ashika, feigning emotional distress, shows her a self-inflicted injury on her wrist and claims Rajat had misbehaved with her. She says he kept questioning why she left him for Arsh and even stated that his marriage to Savi doesn’t matter—he still wants Ashika back. Ashika continues her manipulative story, saying Rajat took her daughter away, and she had stayed silent, hoping he would find happiness with a family, but he’s still obsessed with her.
Savi, suspicious, asks where Rajat is and heads toward the room. Ashika smirks, satisfied with how her plan is unfolding. Savi enters the room and finds Rajat, heavily drunk, lying on the bed, muttering Ashika’s name. Disgusted, Ashika remarks that Rajat is pitiful. Savi warns Ashika not to speak ill of her husband and questions why, if she knew Rajat still loved her, she left him. Savi then helps Rajat out of the house. Meanwhile, Arsh returns and applies ointment to Ashika’s wrist. Ashika angrily scolds him for not coming home sooner. Arsh calmly responds, saying he gave her the chance to witness how her ex-husband is still possessive over her and how Savi must have felt jealous. He assures her that soon Savi will punish Rajat, driving him to lose his peace of mind. Ashika smirks, pleased with the outcome.
With the help of a driver, Savi manages to get Rajat back to his room, despite his drunken resistance. Once inside, she confronts him about causing a scene at Ashika’s house. Rajat checks his blazer pocket for the DNA samples and relaxes when he finds them still there. Irritated, he tells Savi to shut up and claims she shouldn’t concern herself with his actions. Savi warns him that if his behavior impacts Sai’s well-being, she won’t spare him. She continues to berate him, but Rajat, too drunk to argue, silently listens before falling asleep. Savi, confused by his erratic behavior, begins to reflect. She recalls a time when Rajat was deeply involved in Sai’s life, helping her with her school project and talking about his future plans for her. Out of the flashback, Savi wonders what caused Rajat’s sudden change in behavior toward Sai.
